Every member receives a unique ID in the format JIS-YYYY-NNNN. This ID is used for event registration and invoicing.
Jafaria Islamic Society Ltd is member-governed. Governing members who have been individually granted voting rights by trustees may elect trustees and stand for election. Financial decisions, major projects, and constitutional changes are put to a vote of eligible Governing members.
All approved members are listed in the official Members Register, maintained by the Secretary and reviewed at each Annual General Meeting.
The Society's constitution limits the Governing membership tier to 300. Once the cap is reached, new applications are waitlisted until a vacancy opens.
