Amaal for the Day of Ararah

Transliteration

subhana alladhi fi alssama'i `arshuhu subhana alladhi fi al-ardi hukmuhu subhana alladhi fi alquburi qada'uhu subhana alladhi fi albahri sabiluhu subhana alladhi fi alnnari sultanuhu subhana alladhi fi aljannati rahmatuhu subhana alladhi fi alqiyamati `adluhu subhana alladhi rafa`a alssama'a subhana alladhi basata al-arda subhana alladhi la malja'a wa la manjan minhu illa ilayhi

Translation

Glory be to Him Whose Throne is in the heavens. Glory be to Him Whose dominion is on the earth. Glory be to Him Whose decree is in the graves. Glory be to Him Whose ways are in oceans. Glory be to Him Whose authority is (clearly shown) in Hellfire. Glory be to Him Whose mercy is in Paradise. Glory be to Him Whose justice is on the Resurrection Day. Glory be to Him Who raised the skies. Glory be to Him Who expanded the earth. Glory be to Him save Whom there is no shelter and no salvation.

Transliteration

subhana allahi walhamdu lillahi wa la ilaha illa allahu wallahu akbaru

Translation

All glory be to Allah,all praise be to Allah, there is no god save Allah,and Allah is the Greatest.

Transliteration

la ilaha illa allahu wahdahu la sharika lahu lahu almulku wa lahu alhamdu yuhyi wa yumitu wa yumitu wa yuhyi wa huwa hayyun la yamutu biyadihi alkhayru wa huwa `ala kulli shay'in qadirun astaghfiru allaha alladhi la ilaha illa huwa alhayyu alqayyumu wa atubu ilayhi ya allahu ya rahmanu

Translation

(i) There is no god save Allah, alone without having any partner. His is the kingdom and His is all praise. He grants life and causes to die and He causes to die and grants life while He is Ever-living and never dies. In His Hand is all goodness and He has power over all things. (ii) I implore Allah for forgiveness. There is no god save He, the Ever-living, the Self-Subsistent; and to Him I turn repentant. (iii) O Allah! (iv) O All-beneficent!

Transliteration

ya rahimu ya badi`a alssamawati wal-ardi ya dha aljalali wal-ikrami ya hayyu ya qayyumu ya hannanu ya mannanu ya la ilaha illa anta amina

Translation

(v) O All-merciful! (vi) O Fashioner of the heavens and the earth! (vii) O Lord of majesty and honor! (viii) O Ever-living! O Self-Subsistent! (ix) O All-tender! O All-donor! (x) O He save Whom there is no god! (xi) Respond to us.

Transliteration

allahumma inni as'aluka ya man huwa aqrabu ilayya min habli alwaridi ya man yahulu bayna almar'i wa qalbihi ya man huwa bilmanzari al-a`la wa bil-ufuqi almubini ya man huwa alrrahmani `ala al`arshi istawa ya man laysa kamithlihi shay'un wa huwa alssami`u albasiru as'aluka an tusalliya `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin

Translation

O Allah, I beseech You; O He Who is nearer to me than my life-vein! O He Who intervenes between man and his heart! O He Who is in the Highest Prospect and in the Evident Horizon! O He Who is the All-beneficent; on the Throne He has settled! O He like Whom there is nothing and He is the All-hearer, the All-seer! I beseech You to send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.

Transliteration

allahumma ya ajwada man a`ta wa ya khayra man su'ila wa ya arhama man isturhima allahumma salli `ala muhammadin wa alihi fi al-awwalina wa salli `ala muhammadin wa alihi fi al-akhirina wa salli `ala muhammadin wa alihi fi almala'i al-a`la wa salli `ala muhammadin wa alihi fi almursalina allahumma a`ti muhammadan wa alahu alwasilata walfadilata walshsharafa walrrif`ata walddarajata alkabirata allahumma inni amantu bimuhammadin

Translation

O Allah, O He Who is the most magnanimous of all those who may grant! O He Who is the best of all those who are asked! O He Who is the most Merciful of all those whose mercy may be sought! O Allah, send blessings to Muhammad and his Household among the foremost generations, send blessings to Muhammad and his Household among the last generations, send blessings to Muhammad and his Household among the Highest Chiefs, and send blessings to Muhammad and his Household among the Messengers. O Allah, (please) grant Muhammad and his Household the right of mediation, preference, honor, loftiness, and the grand rank. O Allah, I believed in Muhammad,

Transliteration

salla allahu `alayhi wa alihi wa lam arahu fala tahrimni fi alqiyamati ru'yatahu warzuqni suhbatahu wa tawaffani `ala millatihi wasqini min hawdihi mashraban rawiyyan sa'ighan hani'an la azma'u ba`dahu abadan innaka `ala kulli shay'in qadirun allahumma inni amantu bimuhammadin salla allahu `alayhi wa alihi wa lam arahu fa`arrifni fi aljinani wajhahu

Translation

may Allah’s blessings be upon him and his Household, while I have not seen him; so, do not deprive me of seeing him on the Resurrection Day, confer upon me with the favor of accompanying him, cause me to die while I follow his creed, and allow me to drink from his Pool a drink that is quenching, palatable, and pleasant, after which I will never be thirsty. Verily, You have power over all things. O Allah, I believe in Muhammad, may Allah’s blessings be upon him and his Household, while I have not seen him; so, (please) show me his face in the gardens of Paradise.

Transliteration

allahumma balligh muhammadan salla allahu `alayhi wa alihi minni tahiyyatan kathiratan wa salaman

Translation

O Allah, convey to Muhammad, may Allah’s blessings be upon him and his Household, many greetings and compliments from me.

subhana allahi qabla kulli ahadin wa subhana allahi ba`da kulli ahadin wa subhana allahi ma`a kulli ahadin wa subhana allahi yabqa rabbuna wa yafna kullu ahadin wa subhana allahi tasbihan yafdulu tasbiha almusabbihina fadlan kathiran qabla kulli ahadin wa subhana allahi tasbihan yafdulu tasbiha almusabbihina fadlan kathiran ba`da kulli ahadin wa subhana allahi tasbihan yafdulu tasbiha almusabbihina fadlan kathiran ma`a kulli ahadin wa subhana allahi tasbihan yafdulu tasbiha almusabbihina fadlan kathiran lirabbana albaqi wa yafna kullu ahadin

Translation

All glory be to Allah before one and all! All glory be to Allah after one and all! All glory be to Allah with one and all! All glory be to Allah; our Lord exists eternally while the all will vanish! All glory be to Allah with such glorification that exceeds all the glorifications of those who glorify Him; with much excellence that exceeds all others. All glory be to Allah with such glorification that exceeds all the glorifications of those who glorify Him; with much excellence that remains after all others. All glory be to Allah with such glorification that exceeds all the glorifications of those who glorify Him; with much excellence that is with all others. All glory be to Allah with such glorification that exceeds all the glorifications of those who glorify Him; with much excellence to our Lord Who shall exist eternally while all others will vanish.

wa subhana allahi tasbihan la yuhsa wa la yudra wa la yunsa wa la yabla wa la yafna wa laysa lahu muntaha wa subhana allahi tasbihan yadumu bidawamihi wa yabqa bibaqa'ihi fi siniyyi al`alamina wa shuhuri aldduhuri wa ayyami alddunya wa sa`ati allayli walnnahari wa subhana allahi abada al-abadi wa ma`a aliabadi mimma la yuhsihi al`adadu wa la yufnihi al-amadu wa la yaqta`uhu al-abadu wa tabaraka allahu ahsanu alkhaliqina

Translation

All glory be to Allah with such glorification that is uncounted, unrealized, unforgettable, unending, unrelenting, and ceaseless. All glory be to Allah with glorification that is as eternal as He is and as remaining as He is in the years of the worlds, the months of the ages, the days of the world, and the hours of night and day. All glory be to Allah incessantly and with eternity that no number can describe it, no eternity can stop it and no eternity can interrupt it. Blessed be Allah, the best of creators.

Transliteration

walhamdu lillahi qabla kulli ahadin walhamdu lillahi ba`da kulli ahadin walhamdu lillahi ma`a kulli ahadin walhamdu lillahi yabqa rabbuna wa yafna kullu ahadin walhamdu lillahi hamdan yafdulu hamda alhamidina fadlan kathiran qabla kulli ahadin walhamdu lillahi hamdan yafdulu hamda alhamidina fadlan kathiran ba`da kulli ahadin walhamdu lillahi hamdan yafdulu hamda alhamidina fadlan kathiran ma`a kulli ahadin walhamdu lillahi hamdan yafdulu hamda alhamidina fadlan kathiran lirabbana albaqi wa yafna kullu ahadin

Translation

All praise be to Allah before one and all! All praise be to Allah after one and all! All praise be to Allah with one and all! All praise be to Allah; our Lord exists eternally while the all will vanish! walhamdu lillahi hamdan la yuhsa wa la yudra wa la yunsa wa la yabla wa la yafna wa laysa lahu muntaha walhamdu lillahi hamdan yadumu bidawamihi wa yabqa bibaqa'ihi fi siniyyi al`alamina wa shuhuri aldduhuri wa ayyami alddunya wa sa`ati allayli walnnahari walhamdu lillahi abada al-abadi wa ma`a aliabadi mimma la yuhsihi al`adadu wa la yufnihi al-amadu wa la yaqta`uhu al-abadu wa tabaraka allahu ahsanu alkhaliqina

Translation

All praise be to Allah with such praise that is uncounted, unrealized, unforgettable, unending, unrelenting, and ceaseless. All praise be to Allah with praise that is as eternal as He is and as remaining as He is in the years of the worlds, the months of the ages, the days of the world, and the hours of night and day. All praise be to Allah incessantly and with eternity that no number can describe it, no eternity can stop it, and no eternity can interrupt it. Blessed be Allah, the best of creators.

Translation

There is no god save Allah before one and all! There is no god save Allah after one and all! There is no god save Allah with one and all! There is no god save Allah; our Lord exists eternally while the all will vanish! There is no god save Allah with such confession of godhead that exceeds all the confessions of those who confess His godhead; with much excellence that exceeds all others. There is no god save Allah with such confession of godhead that exceeds all the confessions of those who confess His godhead; with much excellence that remains after all others. There is no god save Allah with such confession of godhead that exceeds all the confessions of those who confess His godhead; with much excellence that is with all others. There is no god save Allah with such confession of godhead that exceeds all the confessions of those who confess His godhead; with much excellence to our Lord Who shall exist eternally while all others will vanish.

Transliteration

wa la ilaha illa allahu tahlilan la yuhsa wa la yudra wa la yunsa wa la yabla wa la yafna wa laysa lahu muntaha wa la ilaha illa allahu tahlilan yadumu bidawamihi wa yabqa bibaqa'ihi fi siniyyi al`alamina wa shuhuri aldduhuri wa ayyami alddunya wa sa`ati allayli walnnahari wa la ilaha illa allahu abada al-abadi wa ma`a aliabadi mimma la yuhsihi al`adadu wa la yufnihi al-amadu wa la yaqta`uhu al-abadu wa tabaraka allahu ahsanu alkhaliqina

Translation

Allah is the Greatest before one and all! Allah is the Greatest after one and all! Allah is the Greatest with one and all! Allah is the Greatest; our Lord exists eternally while the all will vanish! Allah is the Greatest with such greatness that exceeds all the magnification of those who confess His All-greatness; with much excellence that exceeds all others. Allah is the Greatest with such greatness that exceeds all the magnification of those who confess his All-greatness; with much excellence that remains after all others. Allah is the Greatest with such greatness that exceeds all the magnification of those who confess his All-greatness; with much excellence that is with all others. Allah is the Greatest with such greatness that exceeds all the magnification of those who confess his All-greatness; with much excellence to our Lord Who shall exist eternally while all others will vanish.

wallahu akbaru takbiran la yuhsa wa la yudra wa la yunsa wa la yabla wa la yafna wa laysa lahu muntaha wallahu akbaru takbiran yadumu bidawamihi wa yabqa bibaqa'ihi fi siniyyi al`alamina wa shuhuri aldduhuri wa ayyami alddunya wa sa`ati allayli walnnahari wallahu akbaru abada al-abadi wa ma`a aliabadi mimma la yuhsihi al`adadu wa la yufnihi al-amadu wa la yaqta`uhu al-abadu wa tabaraka allahu ahsanu alkhaliqina

Translation

Allah is the Greatest with such greatness that is uncounted, unrealized, unforgettable, unending, unrelenting, and ceaseless. Allah is the Greatest with such greatness that is as eternal as He is and as remaining as He is in the years of the worlds, the months of the ages, the days of the world, and the hours of night and day. Allah is the Greatest incessantly and with eternity that no number can describe it, no eternity can stop it, and no eternity can interrupt it. Blessed be Allah, the best of creators.

La ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lahu lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamd Yuhyi wa yumitu wa huwa hayyun la yamutu biyadihil-khayru wa huwa ala kulli shay'in qadir Allahumma lakal-hamdu kalladhi taqulu wa khayran mimma naqulu wa fawqa ma yaqulul-qa'ilun Allahumma laka salati wa nusuki wa mahyaya wa mamati wa laka bara'ati wa laka hawli wa minka quwwati Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-faqri wa min waswasis-sadri wa min shatatil-amri wa min adhabil-qabr Allahumma inni as'aluka khayrar-riyahi wa a'udhu bika min sharri ma yaji'u bihir-riyahu wa as'aluka khayral-layli wan-nahar Allahummaij'al fi qalbi nuran wa fi sam'i wa basari nuran wa fi lahmi wa izami nuran wa fi uruqi wa maq'adi wa maqami wa madkhali wa makhraji nuran Wa a'zim li nuran ya rabbi yawma alqaka innaka ala kulli shay'in qadir.

Translation

There is no God but God. He is One and there are no partners for Him. Sovereignty belongs to Him and Praise belongs to Him He gives life and causes to die. And He is the Everlasting for Whom there is no death and in His Hands is all goodness and He has power over all things. my God! All praise belongs to You as we say and better than what we say, and above and beyond what the best orators say my God! Truly, my prayer and my service of sacrifice, my life and my death, are all for You. I abstain by You and I hold myself. I get my strength from You my God! I take refuge in You from poverty and temptations of the heart, dispersion of the affairs, and torture of the grave my God! I ask You for the best wind. And I take refuge in You from the evils of things by which winds flow in the air. And I ask You for the best night and day O‟ my God! Please let a light shine upon my heart, light in my hearing and sight, light in my flesh and bones, light in my veins, position, entrance and exit. O my Lord! Please brighten my light on the Day I shall meet You as You have power over all things.

Transliteration

Allahumma kama satarta alayya ma lam a'lam faghfir li ma ta'lam Wa kama wasi'ani ilmuka falyasa'ni afwuka wa kama bada'tani bil-ihsani fa-atimm ni'mataka bil-ghufran Wa kama akramtani bima'rifatika fashfa'ha bimaghfiratika Wa kama arraftani wahdaniyyataka fa-akrimni bita'atika Wa kama asamtani ma lam akun a'tasimu minhu illa bi-ismatika faghfir li ma law shi'ta asamtani minhu Ya Jawadu ya Karimu ya Dhal-Jalali wal-Ikram.

Translation

"O‟ my God! As You covered from me what I do not know of, please forgive me for which You know of. As Your Knowledge encompasses me, please let Your Pardon encompass me, too. As You initiated Your Kindness for me, please perfect the blessing of Your Bounties by forgiving. As You let me know about Your Oneness, please honor me with Your Obedience: As You protected me from what I could not protect myself except by Your support. Thus, please forgive me for what You could have protected me against if You wished! O‟ Munificent! O‟ the All-Generous! O‟ Lord of Majesty, Bounty and Honor!”

Transliteration

ya rabbi inna dhunubi la tadurruka wa inna maghfirataka li la tanqusuka fa'a`tini ma la yanqusuka waghfir li ma la yadurruka

Translation

O my Lord, my sins do not harm You nor will Your forgiveness to me reduce Your Grandeur. So, (please do) grant me that which does not reduce Your Grandeur and forgive me that which does not harm You.

Transliteration

allahumma la tahrimni khayra ma `indaka lisharri ma `indi fa'in anta lam tarhamni bita`abi wa nasabi fala tahrimni ajra almusabi `ala musibatihi

Translation

O Allah, (please) do not deprive me of the good that You have because of the evil that I have. If You do not have mercy upon me due to my fatigue and tiredness, (please) then do not deprive me of the reward of those whom are afflicted with misfortunes.

Transliteration

Allahumma inni abduka wabnu abdika an tu'adhdhibani fabi-umurin qad salafat minni wa ana bayna yadayka birummati Wa in ta'fu anni fa-ahlul-afwi anta ya ahlal-afwi ya ahaqqa man afa faghfir li wa li-ashabi

Translation

“O‟ my God! I am Your servant! I am the son of Your servant! If You Punish me it is for my past deeds, while I am standing right here in front of You. O‟ Pardoner! If You pardon me it is as You deserve since You are Lord of Pardon. O‟ He who is the best to Pardon me! Please forgive me and my companions.”

Transliteration

Rabbanaa waj'alnaa muslimaini laka wa min zurriyyatinaaa ummatam muslimatal laka wa arinaa manaasikanaa wa tub 'alainaa innaka antat Tawwaabur Raheem

Translation

‘Our Lord, make us submissive to You, and [raise] from our progeny a nation submissive to You, and show us our rites [of worship], and turn to us clemently. Indeed You are the All-clement, the All-merciful.’

Transliteration

Rabbij 'alnee muqeemas Salaati wa min zurriyyatee Rabbanaa wa taqabbal du'aaa'

Translation

My Lord! Make me a maintainer of prayer, and my descendants [as well]. Our Lord, accept my supplication.

Transliteration

Wallazeena yaqooloona Rabbanaa hab lanaa min azwaajinaa wa zurriyaatinaa qurrata a'yuninw waj 'alnaa lilmuttaqeena Imaamaa

Translation

And those who say, ‘Our Lord! Give us joy and comfort in our spouses and offspring, and make us imams of the Godwary.’
