Ziyarat Imam Hussain (as) - 15 Rajab / Shaban

Specific for Rajab 1st/15th(Day/Night) and 15th Sha'ban )<hr>Shaykh al-Mufid and Sayyid Ibn Tawus,mention the following form of ziyarah is dedicated to the 1st 'day' of Rajab and 15th Shaban night. al-Shahid added that it is also dedicated to the 1st night ,15th Night and 15th Day of Rajab, and 15th Day of Sha'ban. In conclusion, this form of ziyarah is dedicated to six times.<hr>Shaykh al-Mufid and Sayyid Ibn Tawus,mention the following form of ziyarah is dedicated to the first day of Rajab and the fifteenth night of Sha`ban. However, al-Shahid added that it is also dedicated to the first night of Rajab, the fifteenth night of it, the fifteenth day of it, and the fifteenth day of Sha`ban. Salaat After Isha

Shaykh al-Tusy in ‘Misbah al-Mutahajjid’, has narrated a Hadith about the merits of the fifteenth night of Sha`ban entailing that Abu-Yahya asked Imam Ja`far al-sadiq (a.s) about the best of supplications at this night. The Imam (a.s) instructed him saying: “After you finish the obligatory `Isha' Prayer, you may offer a Two Rak`ah prayer in the first of which you should recite Surah of al-Fatihah and Surah of al-Kafirun and in the second Surah of al-Fatihah and Surah of al-Tawhid. When you accomplish the prayer, you may repeat<br‘subhanallah’ thirty-three times, ‘alhamdulillah’ thirty-three times, and ‘allahu-akbar’ thirty-four times. Dua Jawshan Kabeer

Dua Jawshan al Kabeer - It has been mentioned in the book, Balad al-Amin and the Misbah of Kafa`mi that Imam `Ali ibn al-Husain Sayyid as-Sajjidin (prayers be upon him) related from his father from his grandfather the Prophet of Allah (blessings of Allah be upon him and his family) that this supplication was taught by the Angel Jibra’il (prayers be upon him) to the Prophet (blessings of Allah be upon him and his family) during one of the battles. It was in one of the wars that the Prophet (blessings of Allah be upon him and his family) had taken part in which he had a very heavy coat of armor on to protect himself. It is related that the coat was so heavy that it was hurting the body of the Prophet (prayers of Allah be upon him and his family). In this state,the Angel Jibra’il (prayers be upon him) came to the Prophet (blessings of Allah be upon him and his family) and said: “O’ Muhammad! Your Lord conveys his salutations to you and has said to take this coat of armor (Jawshan) and to recite it as this is a protection for you and your Ummah.

Dua Mujeer

Dua for Nights of Ayyamul Baydh (13th 14th & 15th)<hr>This is a supplication of high eminence which is reported to have been brought by Angel Jibreel for the Holy Prophet (pbuh) when he was engrossed in prayers in Maqam-e-Ibrahim. Kafa'ami has reported this supplication in Baladul Amin and in Misbah. It is mentioned by him that the reward for the one reciting it during the nights of full moon (13th, 14th & 15th) of the Holy month of Ramadan, is that his sins are forgiven even if they are in such plenty as the drops of rain water, leaves of trees or sand of a desert. It is also very effective for the cure of the sick, fulfilment of debts, acquisition of wealth and relief from sorrows. .

Calling out to Imam Mahdi(ajtfs) recommended for Friday Mornings and day of Eid Dua al-Nudba, or the “supplication of lamentation” is traditionally recited weekly on the day of Friday. The supplication is narrated by Sayed Ibn Tawus, who was one of the greatest scholars within the school of Ahl al-Bayt (p), in one of his famous works.2 Ibn Mashadi, who is also one of the greatest scholars, narrates it in his famous encyclopedic work of supplications and visitations of the Holy Household.3 It is known as the “supplication of lamentation” because it brings the believers to tears during the course of its recitation, due to the fact that the Imam is in occultation when we are in great need and desire for his presence. From its early onset, upon praising God and sending salutations upon the Prophet Muhammad and his progeny (pbut), we immediately enter into the emotional invocation.

Ghair Maroof - Ziyarat Ashura

This form of ziyarah on the `Ashura' Day is not as famous (ghair maroof)as the earlier one; rather, it is similar to it in reward and merits although it does not comprise the one-hundred time statements of invoking curse on the enemies and invoking blessings on the Imam and his companions. The method of this form of ziyarah, as quoted from the book of al-Mazar al-Qadim, without mentioning the explanatory introduction, is as follows: If you would like to visit Imam al-Husayn (peace be upon him) from remote places or from the vicinity of his holy tomb, you may bathe yourself and come out to a desert or go up the roof on your house. You may then offer a two-unit prayer, reciting (after Surah al-Fatihah) Surah al-Tawhid in both units. When you accomplish the prayer, you may point to Imam al-Husayn (peace be upon him) to greet him. The greetings, pointing, and intention must be made while turning the face towards the side of Imam al-Husayn’s tomb. Then, you may say the following words with reverence and submission:

Isteghasa -Imam Mahdi (atfs)

Allamah Majlisi (r.a.) narrates from the author of Qabs al-Misbaah who writes, ‘I heard Shaykh Abu Abdillah al-Husain Ibn al-Hasan Ibn Babwayh (r.a.)(Shaykh al-Saduq (a.r.)) at Rayy near tehran in the year 440 A.H. narrate from his uncle Abu Ja’far Muhammad Ibn Ali Ibn Babwayh (r.a.)3, ‘One of my teachers from Qum reported, “I was afflicted with a terrible tragedy which made my condition miserable but I felt uncomfortable to let anybody else know about it from my family or friends. I slept in this state of grief when I dreamt that a handsome man, well dressed and perfumed. His traits were like some of our teachers from Qum from whom I used to study. I said to myself, ‘Till when will I endure my hardships and afflictions and not let anyone from my brothers know about it? This man is from my teachers and I should mention my problem to him. Perhaps he may solve it for me. He initiated the conversation with me saying, ‘Return to your path towards Allah, the High, seek help from Saaheb al-Zaman (a.t.f.s.) and take him as your refuge. For surely, he is the best of helpers and a protection for his believing friends.’ Thereafter, he caught his right hand and said, ‘See him, salute him and ask him to intercede on your behalf from Allah, the High, in the fulfillment of your needs.’ I said, ‘Teach me how I should say it because my grief has made me forget all the Ziyarat and Supplications. He heaved a deep sigh and said, ‘There is no power or strength but through Allah.’ Then he touched my chest with his hand and remarked, ‘Allah will suffice for you and no evil will befall you. Purify yourself and perform two units of prayers. Then stand up, facing the Qiblah, beneath the sky and say the dua.

Munajat Shabaniyah

Imam `Ali Amir al-Mu'minin and the Holy Imams (peace be upon them) who used to recite it in the month of Shaban.” It is advisable to recite it with presence of heart all the time. It is recommended to say the following whispered prayer (munajat) that has been narrated by Ibn Khalawayh who commented on it, saying, “This is the confidential prayer of Imam `Ali Amir al-Mu'minin and the Holy Imams (peace be upon them) who used to recite it in the month of Shaban.” It is advisable to recite it with presence of heart all the time. The late Mirza Agha Maliki Tabrizi, one of the teachers of Imam Khomeini, especially in the fields of ethics and spirituality, says that Munajat Sha‘baniyyah contains a wealth of knowledge and the etiquettes and manners of beseeching Allah, and how one can pray and ask for forgiveness from Him.

Perform Ghusl in flowing water and splash thirty palmfuls of water on the head. This act brings about security against all pains and ailments up to the next year.<hr>It is recommended to wash one’s face with a handful of rose water so as to be saved against humiliation and poverty, and to pour some of it on the head so as to be saved from pleurisy.<hr> TWO RAKAAT SALAAT: in the first of which after Sura Hamd recite <a href="https://quran.duas.org/48/al-fath" target="_blank">Sura Fath (Sura no 48)</a> , in the second rakat after the recitation of Sura Hamd recite any other Surah. If one offers this prayer, Almighty Allah will save him from all evils and will keep him under His custody up to the next year.<hr> TWO RAKAAT SALAAT: in the first of which after Sura Hamd recite Sura Ikhlaas thirty times, in the second rakat after the recitation of Sura Hamd recite Sura Qadr thirty times. Thereafter give alms (Sadaqah). Whoever does so, will have purchased from Allah, his safety for the month.<hr>

The method of visiting the shrine of the Holy Prophet (s) is as follows: When you arrive in the holy city of al-Madinah, you may bathe yourself, preparing yourself for the ziyarah. When you intend to enter The Holy Prophet’s Mosque, you should stop at the door of the mosque and say the FIRST form of asking permission for entering there. You may enter from the Gate of Archangel Gabriel (Bab Jibra’il) preceding the right foot to the left. You may then Allahu Akbar repeat one hundred times. You may then offer the two unit prayer of Greeting the Mosque (tahiyyat al-masjid). After that, you may walk to the holy chamber that includes the tomb of the Holy Prophet. There, you may touch it with your hand, kiss it, and say the following:
