Dua and Amaal for 3rd of the month of Ramadan

Transliteration

allahumma arzuqny fihi aldhdhhna wal-ttnbiha wa ba`idny fihi mina alssfahati wal-ttmuihi waj`al li nasiban min kulli khayrin tunzilu fihi bijudika ya ajwada alajwadina

Translation

O Allah: on this day, (please) confer upon me with sound mentality and acumen, And take me away from foolishness and deception, And decide for me a share from each goodness that You descend on this day, By Your magnanimity; O the most Magnanimous of all those who are magnanimous.

Translation

O God of Abraham, Issac, Jacob and the Tribes! O Lord of the Angels and Spirt! The All-Hearing! The All-Knowing! The Forebearing, the Generous! The Sublime, the Supreme! O my God! I fasted for You and I break my fast with Your Sustenance. And I rely upon You and to You do I turn in repentance as indeed to You is our Final Goal And You are the Compassionate, the Merciful! Please give me strength to pray and fast and save us from shame on the Day of Judgment: For You never breakest Your promise

Transliteration

Yā man tuḥallu bihi ʿuqud al-makārih Wa yā man yuftha’u bihi ḥaddu al-shadā’id Wa yā man yultamisu minhu al-makhraj Ilā rawḥi al-faraj Dhallat liqudratika al-ṣiʿāb Wa tasabbabat biluṭfika al-asbāb Wa jarā biṭāʿatika al-qaḍā’ Wa maḍat ʿalā irādatika al-ashyā’ Fahiya bimashiyyatika mu’tamirah Wa bi’irādatika munzajirah Anta al-madʿū lil-muhimmāt Wa anta al-mafzaʿu fī al-mulimāt

Translation

O You by whom the knots of hardships are untied O You by whom the severity of difficulties is softened O You from whom an escape is sought Towards relief and ease Difficulties submit to Your power And means are made possible by Your kindness Destiny flows according to Your obedience And all things proceed according to Your will Thus, they obey Your command by Your will And they refrain by Your decree You are the One called upon for critical matters And You are the refuge in times of distress

Transliteration

Lā yandafiʿu minhā illā mā dafaʿta Wa lā yankashifu illā mā kashafta Yā Rabbī mā qad taka’adanī thiqluhu Wa alamma bī mā qad bahaẓanī ḥamluhu Wa biqudratika awradtahu ʿalayya Wa bisulṭānika wajjahtahu ilayya Wa lā muṣdira limā awradt Wa lā mūrida limā aṣdart Wa lā ṣārifa limā wajjaht Wa lā fātiḥa limā aghlaqta Wa lā mughliqa limā fataḥta Wa lā muyassira limā ʿassarta

Translation

None of it is repelled except by what You repel And none of it is uncovered except by what You uncover O Lord, what has burdened me with its weight And what has overwhelmed me with its load By Your power, You have brought it upon me And by Your authority, You have directed it to me There is no way to release what You have sent Nor is there an approach to what You have withdrawn There is none who can turn away what You have directed And no opener for what You have closed And no closer for what You have opened And no one can ease what You have made difficult

Transliteration

Wa lā muʿassira limā yassarta Wa lā nāṣira liman khadhalta Wa lā khādila liman naṣarta Faṣalli ʿalā Muḥammadin wa Āli Muḥammad Wa iftaḥ lī yā Rabb bāba alfaraji biṭawlik Wa ksir ʿannī sulṭāna alhammi biḥawlik Wa anilnī ḥusna alnaẓari fīmā shakawt Wa adhiqnī ḥalāwata alṣunʿi fīmā sa’alt Wa hab lī min ladunka farajan hanīʾan Wa ajʿal lī min ʿindika makhrajān waḥiyyā Wa lā tashghalnī bilihtimāmi ʿan taʿāhudi furūḍik Wa istiʿmāli sunnatik faqad ḍiqtu yā Rabb

Translation

And no one can make difficult what You have made easy And there is no helper for the one You forsake And no one can forsake whom You have supported So send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad And open for me, O Lord, the door of relief by Your bounty And break the power of sorrow over me by Your might And grant me good perception regarding what I have complained of And let me taste the sweetness of Your action in what I asked And grant me from Yourself a relief that is pleasant And provide for me from You an immediate escape And do not let my concerns distract me from fulfilling Your obligations And from following Your way, for I have become weary, O Lord

Transliteration

Limā nazala bī dharʿan Wa imtala’tu biḥamli mā ḥadatha ʿalayya hamman Wa anta alqādiru ʿalā kashfi mā munītu bihi Wa dafʿi mā waqaʿtu fīhi Faṣalli ʿalā Muḥammadin wa Āli Muḥammad Wa ifʿal bī dhālika wa in lam astawjibhu minka Yā Rabbī yā dhā alʿarshi alkarīm Wa alsulṭāni alʿaẓīm Yā khayra man khalawnā bihi waḥdanā Wa yā khayra man ashernā ilayhi bikaffinā Nas’aluka Allāhumma an tulhimanā alkhayra wa tuʿṭīnāhu Wa an taṣrifa ʿannā alsharra wa takfiyanāhu

Translation

Because of what has befallen me, I have become weak And I have been filled with worry due to what has occurred to me And You are capable of removing what I have been afflicted with And repelling what I have fallen into So send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad And do this for me, even if I do not deserve it from You O Lord, O Possessor of the noble Throne And the great authority O best One whom we confide in when alone And O best One to whom we gesture with our hands We ask You, O Allah, to inspire us with goodness and grant it to us And to turn away evil from us and suffice us from it

Transliteration

Wa an tadhara ʿannā alshayṭāna wa tubaʿidanāhu Wa an tarzuqanā alfirdawsa wa tuḥillanāhu Wa an tasqiyanā min ḥawḍi Muḥammadin wa Āli Muḥammad Wa tuwridanāhu wa nadʿūka Yā Rabbanā taḍarruʿan wa khīfatan wa raghbatan wa rahbatan Wa khawfan wa ṭamaʿan innaka samīʿu alduʿā’ Wa ṣallā Allāhu ʿalā Muḥammadin wa ālihi Allāhumma innī as’aluka biḥurmati man ʿādha bika minka Wa laja’a ilā ʿizzika wa istaẓalla bifi’ika Wa iʿtaṣama biḥablika wa lam yathiq illā bika Yā jazīla alʿaṭāyā wa yā fakkāka alusārā Anta almafzaʿu fī almulimāt wa anta almadʿū lilmuhimmāt

Translation

And to drive away Satan from us and keep him distant And to grant us Paradise and make us dwell therein And to give us drink from the basin of Muhammad and his family And to bring us to it, and we call upon You O our Lord, in humility, fear, hope, and awe And in fear and longing, truly You are the Hearer of supplications And may Allah send blessings upon Muhammad and his family O Allah, I ask You by the sanctity of the one who seeks refuge in You from You And who has taken shelter in Your might and sought shade in Your mercy And has held firmly to Your rope, trusting none but You O Generous in giving, O Liberator of the captives You are the refuge in hardships, and You are the One called upon for urgent matters

Transliteration

Ṣalli ʿalā Muḥammadin wa Āli Muḥammad Wa ajʿal lī farajan wa makhrajā Wa arzuqnī rizqan wāsiʿan bimā shi’ta Idhā shi’ta wa kayfa shi’ta yā arḥama alrāḥimīn

Translation

Send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad And grant me relief and a way out And provide me with abundant sustenance as You will Whenever You will and however You will, O Most Merciful of the merciful

Translation

O my God! Please bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad and his Progeny Please open my heart to Your Remembrance, make me follow Your Book, believe in Your Prophet loyal to Your Covenant. Please bless me with Your Mercy and accept my fast O my God! I seek nearness to You in this grand honorable month by Your Generosity and Benevolence I seek nearness to You by Your Angels, Prophets, and Messengers I seek nearness to You by the guards – the very first one and the last I ask You to bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad and his Progeny and forgive all my sins in this very hour and this very day Then raise your hands and try to shed tears

Translation

O Allah, I ask You, O Facilitator of every difficulty, and O He who is excellent in arrangement, and O He who does not need explanation, and O He who is greater than every great, and O He who has no partner nor minister, O He who has no companion, nor opponent, nor equal, nor helper, nor supporter, O Repairer of the broken bone, O Helper of the desperate poor, O Creator of the sun and the illuminating moon, O Mover of the orbiting celestial sphere, O Provider for the small child, I ask You to open the ears of my heart to Your remembrance, and following Your books, and believing in Your prophets, and fulfilling Your covenant, and believing in Your promise, for indeed,

Translation

O my God, by Your light I have been guided, and by Your grace I have been sufficed, and by You I have become in the morning and the evening. My God, my sins are before You, I ask for Your forgiveness for them and I repent to You. O Allah, do not delay me among the wicked, nor increase the people of the fire with me, grant me a good life and cause me to die a noble death, and join me with the righteous. O Allah, I ask for Your forgiveness for my sins and present to You my needs. I ask You beyond my desire and aspire to Your generosity in overlooking the injustice I have done to myself, and that You make my wealth and guidance within myself, and that You accept it from me, and complete it for me, and deliver it to me, and save me from sin in it by Your great honor, by Your mercy, O Most Merciful of the merciful.

Translation

And may Allah send blessings upon Muhammad and his pure family.
