Dua and Amaal for 9th of the month of Ramadan

Transliteration

allahumma ij`al li fihi nasiban min rahmatika alwasi`ati wahdiny fihi libarahinika alssati`ati wa khudh binasiyaty ila mardatika aljami`ati bimahabbtika ya amala almushtaqina

Translation

O Allah: on this day, (please) decide for me a share from Your expansive mercy, And guide me on this day to Your luminous proofs, And take me from the forelock to Your all-inclusive satisfaction; Out of Your lovingness; O the hope of the eager ones.

Translation

“O‟ my Master! O‟ Nourisher! O‟ Lord of Majesty, Bounty and Honor! O Lord of the Throne who does not sleep! O‟ Lord of Exaltedness that does not collapse! O‟ Fulfiller of the affairs! O‟ He who heals the hearts! Please provide an easy way out of my affairs and put Your Hope into my heart so that I turn to no one but You. O‟ my Master! I rely upon You. O‟ my Guardian! To You do I turn in repentance And to You is our Final Goal. I ask You. O‟ Lord of the lords!

Translation

O' Compeller of the compellers! O‟ Greatest of the great ones! O‟ He who suffices whoever relies upon Him! God suffices for him and He shall take care of his affairs. In You I have placed my trust, so please suffice for me and to You do I turn in repentance. So please have mercy on me And to You is our Final Goal so please forgive me and please do not blacken my face on the day on which some faces will be blackened and some will be whitened for indeed You are Exalted in Might – All-Wise O‟ my God! Please bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad and his Progeny Please have Mercy on me and overlook my faults as You are All-Forgiving, Merciful!

Translation

O Allah, forgive my sins and protect my deeds. And guide my heart, and expand my chest. And ease my affairs, and enhance my understanding. And lighten my burdens, and make me secure from fear. And strengthen my argument, and calm my heart. And whiten my face, and elevate my status. And affirm my words, and convey my message. And grant me health in my lifetime. And bless me in my outcomes. And protect me in all my circumstances. And expand my provision. And ease my requests.

Translation

And grant me from Your generous gifts. And the best of what You have given to anyone of Your creation. And overlook all that I have with the grace of Your kindness that is with You. O Allah, do not give my enemy joy over me. And do not empower him against me. And do not expose me in my own self. And do not cause me grief over my neighbor. And grant me. O my God, grant me a gracious and merciful gift. From Your bounty that has no poverty after it. For my strength has weakened. And my hope from creation has ceased.

Translation

For Your power. O my Lord, have mercy on me. And grant me health as Your power allows You to punish me. And if You test me, then let. O my Master, in what You have decreed. Hasten my deliverance from all that I am in. From all that is disliked, feared, and difficult. And grant me health from it all. O my God, I do not hope for anyone to avert that from me. Anyone from Your creation. So be it, O You of Glory and Honor. At my best expectations of You.

Translation

And bestow upon me that. And on every caller who calls You with it. O my Master, among the believers. And You are my Lord. You commanded to invoke. And You guaranteed a response for whomever You will. And Your promise is the truth, which has no alternative.

Translation

“O‟ my God! Praise belongs to You and there is no God but You. And I am Your bondsman. I believe in You with a sincere faith. I made it to the evening and I am faithful to my covenant and my promise as much as I can. I repent to You from my evil deeds. I ask You to forgive my sins which no one but You can forgive. Please bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad and his Progeny (as), accept my fasting, honor me, and let me see the passage of this month. O‟ the Best Master! O‟ He who settles all complaints! O‟ He who hears all that is whispered! O‟ He who witnesses all that is in public! O‟ He who knows all which is kept secret! O‟ Remover of whatever calamities You wish to remove! Friend of Abraham (as), savior of Moses (as) and choser of Muhammad (as)! I pray to You as one who is experiencing extreme destitute – one who is weakened, and feeble – the lonely one, the drowned, the distressed, the poverty-stricken, poor- he who finds no one to eliminate his sins but You. Please bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad and his Progeny (as). Please relieve me, and remove all my sufferings. And accept my fasting and praying during this grand month. Please bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad and his Progeny (as)- the pure ones.

Translation

O Allah, send blessings on Muhammad and his pure family And open for me, on this day, the doors of mercy from You O Allah, indeed You respond to the prayer for Muhammad And I have asked You for blessings upon him on this day So answer me with what is good for my soul in this day And what is before it and what is after it. And in this month, as You have answered me For me in Muhammad, may Allah's peace be upon him and his family O Allah, elevate his status in the building And grant him his rightful place And purify him, and make him accepted witness Accepted in his speech as he judged and was just

Translation

And he strived without failing, and advised his community And struggled in Your cause and was patient with Your good tests Until certainty came to him, and may Allah bless him and his family O my God, I am the one who continuously sins And You forgive, and I err, and You treat me well I am the one who bears sins I am the one imprisoned by my misfortune I am the one renewing my mistake I am the one severed by it And I have placed myself before You In the position of sinners who dare to address You Who belittle Your rights and promises

Translation

Who neglect the rights owed to You Who breach their covenant with You And in the position of one whose sins have overtaken him And his friend and companion disown him O my God, have mercy on my collapse today And my stumbling, and free me from my missteps And make me, after despair and bad outcomes Have good expectations of You when I stand Before You, O Master of my captivity Have mercy on me, indeed You are capable of all things And may Allah bless Muhammad and his pure family.
