Dua and Amaal for 12th of the month of Ramadan

Transliteration

allahumma zayyinny fihi bilssatri wal-`afafi wasturny fihi bilibasi alqunu`i wal-kafafi wahmilny fihi `ala al`adli wal-insafi wa aminny fihi min kulli ma akhafu bi`ismatika ya `ismata alkha’ifina

Translation

O Allah: on this day, (please) adorn me with covering and chastity, And cover me on it with the dress of satisfaction and contentment, And encourage me on this day to be just and impartial, And secure me against whatever I fear; Out of Your protection; O the Shelter of the fearful ones.

Translation

O‟ my God! You are Exalted in Might, All-Wise! “And You are All-Forgiving, Merciful! nd You are the Sublime, the Supreme! A Praise belongs to You. Praise that is lasting and does not diminish. Thanks belongs to You. Thanks that is lasting and does not diminish. And You are the Living, the Wise, the All-Knowing! I ask You by the Light of Your Face – the Benevolent.By Your Might that does not collapse! By Your Might that cannot be subdued. I ask You to bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad and his Progeny (as); to forgive me and have Mercy on me verily You are the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate!”

Translation

“O‟ my God! The stars in Your sky have gone far away! The eyes of Your people have fallen asleep! The sounds of Your Servants and animals have become silent! The kings of the earth have shut their doors with guards encircling them. Thus they hide themselves from those who may want to ask them for the fulfillment ofeed, or demand to gain some benefit from them. And You are my God! The Living! The Eternal! No slumber can seize You or sleep. Nothing shall hinder you from nothing else. The gates of Your heavens are open to whoever calls You, and Your Treasures are not shut closed. O‟ my God! I entrust You and seek Your Protection by „There is no God but You – the Living, the Eternal, the Light and the Holy One.‟ I entrust myself, my soul, my sustenance, my life, my death, the souls of the Progeny of Muhammad (as), the souls of Muhammad‟s followers, and all You have favored me and them with, dead or alive, present or absent, sleeping or awake, standing or sitting, even if I consider them to be little and minor. I ask You by the Light of Your Face- the Benevolent – the Most Majestic! Standing firm on justice! That there is no God but God the Almighty, the All-Wise.

Translation

I ask You by Muhammad and his Progeny (as) – the Immaculte, the pure ones to bestow Your Blessings upon them all. O‟ Guardian of the Prophets (as) and Messengers (as), and Your nearby-stationed angels- May Your Blessings be upon them. O‟ Lord of the worlds! O‟ my Master! I ask You by the Canopy Raised High; by „the Seven Oft-repeated (verses) and the Grand Quran, and by all Your Creatures who are honored by You. Please let us be under Your Own Support that cannot be violated along with all You have bestowed upon us and them - by Your Mercy – O‟ the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful.‟

Translation

O my God! I ask You by the juncture of the Might of Your Throne and the ultimate Mercy from Your Book and by Your Grand Name and Your Perfect Words that no good or bad person can violate for indeed You do not get destroyed or end I ask You to bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad and his Progeny and accept from me and from all the believing men and women the fasting and the waking up at nights during the month of Ramadhan and liberate our necks from the fire of Hell Please bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad and his Progeny Let me be good in heart, with effective deeds, an ample sustenance and let the Pond of your prophet(saw) be my station & abode Please expedite the arrival of Muhammad’s Progeny with health O the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful

Translation

O Allah, I ask You and earnestly seek from You to grant me steadfastness on Your religion, which You have chosen, to enlighten me in it, to grant me success for it, to take my heart towards it, to divert me from anything else, to protect me with the protection of the righteous, and to make me among those who affirm Your Book and adhere to the Sunnah of Your Prophet Muhammad and his pure family, may Allah's blessings be upon him and them all. O Allah, never forsake me, do not let any enemy or envier gloat over me, do not take away any good You have given me, open the ears of my heart to Your remembrance, make me believe in Your promise, fulfill Your covenant, and I ask You, my Lord, for its acceptance and fulfillment. O Allah, I ask You for its blessing, prosperity, and good endings within it,

Translation

and I ask You to prepare for me ease, guidance, and comfort in my affairs, and to guide me to that which is most correct, better in reward, outcome, return, hope, in the immediate and the distant future, and to end my life with good, grant me Your satisfaction and Paradise, protect me from Your displeasure and the Fire, and grant me the needs of this world and the hereafter, security, well-being, wealth, and forgiveness. Indeed, You are capable of all things. And I am in need of that, O my Lord, while it is trivial for You and a small thing in Your presence, so bestow it upon me, O Most Merciful of the merciful. There is no power or strength except through Allah, the High, the Great.

Translation

In Him, I trust, and He is my support, the best Helper. And may Allah send blessings upon our master Muhammad and his pure family.
