إِلَهِي وَ سَيِّدِي بِكَ عَرَفْتُكَ وَ بِكَ اهْتَدَيْتُ إِلَى سَبِيلِكَ وَ أَنْتَ دَلِيلٌ عَلَى مَعْرِفَتِكَ
وَ لَوْ لَا أَنْتَ مَا عَرَفْتُ تَوْحِيدَكَ وَ لَا عَرَفْتُ وَ لَا اهْتَدَيْتُ إِلَى عِبَادَتِكَ
فَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ عَلَى مَا هَدَيْتَ وَ عَلَّمْتَ وَ بَصَّرْتَ وَ فَهَّمْتَ
وَ أَوْضَحْتَ مِنَ الصِّرَاطِ الْمُسْتَقِيمِ وَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَدْعُوهُ فِيُجِيبُنِي وَ إِنْ كُنْتُ بَطِيئاً حِينَ يَدْعُونِي
وَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَسْأَلُهُ فَيُعْطِينِي وَ إِنْ كُنْتُ بَخِيلًا حِينَ يَسْتَقْرِضُنِي
وَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أُنَاجِيهِ لِحَاجَتِي إِذَا شِئْتُ وَ أَخْلُو بِهِ حَيْثُ شِئْتُ بِسِرِّي فَيَقْضِي حَاجَتِي
وَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي لَا أَرْجُو غَيْرَهُ وَ لَوْ رَجَوْتُ غَيْرَهُ لَأَخْلَفَ رَجَائِي
وَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي وَكَلَنِي إِلَيْهِ فَأَكْرَمَنِي وَ لَمْ يَكِلْنِي إِلَى النَّاسِ فَيُهِينُونِي
وَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي تَحَبَّبَ إِلَيَّ وَ هُوَ غَنِيٌّ عَنِّي
وَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي تَحَلَّمَ عَنِّي حَتَّى كَأَنِّي لَا ذَنْبَ لِي
فَرَبِّي أَحْمَدُ وَ هُوَ أَحَقُّ بِحَمْدِي
يَا ذَا الْمَنِّ وَ لَا يُمَنُّ عَلَيْكَ يَا ذَا الطَّوْلِ يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَ الْإِكْرَامِ
Translation
"My God and my Lord, through You I have come to know You, and through You I have found the path to You.
You are the guide to knowing Yourself. Had it not been for You, I would not have known Your unity, nor would I have known or found the way to worship You.
So all praise is due to You for what You have guided, taught, enlightened, and made clear of the straight path.
And all praise is to Allah, whom I call upon and He answers me, even if I am slow when He calls me.
And all praise is to Allah, whom I ask and He gives me, even if I am stingy when He lends to me.
And all praise is to Allah, whom I confide in for my needs whenever I wish, and I can be alone with Him wherever I wish with my secret, and He fulfills my needs.
And all praise is to Allah, whom I hope for other than Him, and if I hoped for others, they would fail my hope.
And all praise is to Allah, who entrusted me to Him, so He honored me and did not entrust me to people, so they would humiliate me.
And all praise is to Allah, who endeared Himself to me, and He is rich without me
And all praise is to Allah, who is patient with me, as if I have no sin.
So my Lord, I praise, and He is most worthy of my praise.
O the Bestower who does not bestow upon You, O the Possessor of Bounty, O the Possessor of Majesty and Honor,
