Dua and Amaal for 21st of the month of Ramadan

Transliteration

allahumma aj`al li fihi ila mardatika dalilan wa la taj`al lilshshitani fihi `alayya sabilan waj`ali aljannata li manzilan wa maqilan ya qadiya hawa’iji alttalibina

Translation

O Allah; on this day, (please) make for me a course that takes me to Your pleasure; And do not make for Satan a course to me; And make Paradise my home and dwelling; O He Who settles the needs of the beseechers.

Transliteration

ash-hadu an laa ilaaha illallahu wah’dahu laa shareeka lahu wa ash-hadu anna muhammadan a’bduhu wa rasooluhu wa ash-hadu annal jannata ‘haqqun wan-naara ‘haqqun wa annas-sa’ata aatiyatun laa rayba feeha wa annallahu yab’athu man fil quboor wa ash-hadu annar-rabba rabbi laa shareeka lahu wa la walada lahu wa la waalida lahu wa ash-hadu annahul fa’aalu lima yureedu wal qaadiru ‘alaa kulli shayin was-‘sani’u lima yureedu wal qahiru man yasha-u war-rafi’u man yasha-u maalikul mulki wa raaziqul ‘ibaadil ghafoorur-rahimul-alimul-halimu ash-hadu ash-hadu ash-hadu ash-hadu ash-hadu ash-hadu annaka la yablighu sayyidi kadhalika wa fawqa dhalikal wasifoona kunha ‘adhamatik allahumma salli ‘alaa muhammadin wa aalihi wahdini wa la tudhillani b’ada idh hadaytani

Translation

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful I bear witness that there is no God but God. He is One and there are no partners for Him I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Prophet I bear witness that Paradise is true and Hell is true And I bear witness that the Hour is sure to come and there is no doubt about it and that God shall resurrect the dead from the graves I bear witness that the Lord is my Lord. There are no partners for Him. He has not been born and nor shall He have a child. I bear witness that He does whatever He Wills. He has Power over everything He can create whatever He wills. He is the Subduer who can do what He wills! The Exalter of whom He pleases! Lord of Power (and Rule)! Provider of Sustenance for the people! All-Forgiving, Merciful! The Knowledgeable! The Forbearing! I bear witness, I bear witness, I bear witness, I bear witness, I bear witness, I bear witness that You-my Master-are so and much more and You are He whose depth of Grandeur those who extol cannot reach O God, Please send your blessings on Muhammad and His Household

Translation

O Allah, O He who raised the heavens without any pillars that you can see, then established Himself upon the Throne, managing the affair, there is no intercessor except after His permission. O He who knows what every female carries and what the wombs decrease and increase, and everything with Him is measured, the Knower of the unseen and the seen, the Great, the Most High. O He for whom the thunder glorifies with His praise, and so do the angels out of fear of Him. O He by whose remembrance hearts find peace. O He who erases what He wills and establishes, and with Him is the Mother of the Book.

Translation

O He against whose decree there is no appeal, and He is quick in account. O He who knows what we conceal and what we reveal, and nothing is hidden from Allah on earth or in heaven. O He who made constellations in the sky and adorned it for beholders. O He who created man from a drop of semen, then suddenly he is a clear adversary. O He who made the night and the day follow each other for whoever wants to remember or wants to give thanks. O He to whom everything in the heavens and the earth prostrates, including every creature and the angels, and they do not become proud.

Translation

O He who commands justice, good conduct, and giving to relatives, and forbids evil And immorality, bad conduct, and oppression. O He who is with those who fear Him and those who are doers of good. O Allah, I ask You by what I have whispered to You of Your praise today, yesterday, and in the days to come, with what I would have asked You by from Your greatest names had I known them, to grant me the fear of those who work, the deeds of those who fear, the humility of those who worship, the worship of those who are humble, the certainty of those who rely on You, the reliance of the believers, the repentance of those who turn back to You, and everything Your righteous servants asked of You,

Translation

what You granted Your prophets, the pure Imams, and the close angels. Rectify for me my hardened soul, my corrupt heart, my deficient intellect, and liberate my neck from the fire. Grant me Paradise, safety in this world and the Hereafter, and enrich me from Your bounty so that I do not need anyone else. O Most Merciful of the Merciful, and may peace and blessings be upon our master Muhammad and his pure family.

Transliteration

Yā mulija al-layli fi al-nahāri wa mulija al-nahāri fi al-layl Wa mukhrija al-ḥayyi mina al-mayyiti wa mukhrija al-mayyiti mina al-ḥayyi Yā rāziqa man yashā'u bighayri ḥisāb Yā Allāhu yā Raḥmān, yā Allāhu yā Raḥmān Yā Allāhu yā Raḥmān, yā Allāhu yā Raḥmān Laka al-asmā’u al-ḥusnā wa al-amthālu al-‘ulyā wa al-kibriyā’u wa al-ālā’u As’aluka an tuṣalliya ‘alā Muḥammad wa āli Muḥammad Wa as’aluka bi-Bismi Allāhi al-Raḥmāni al-Raḥīm An taj‘ala ismī fī hādhā al-yawmi al-sharīf mina al-su‘adā’ Wa rūḥī ma‘a al-shuhadā’ Wa ‘amalī maqbūlan wa ḥasanātī fī ‘illiyyīn Wa dhunūbī maghfūrah yā Rabba al-‘ālamīn

Translation

O You who cause the night to enter into the day, and cause the day to enter into the night. And bringer forth of the living from the dead, and bringer forth of the dead from the living. O Provider to whomsoever He wills without measure. O Allah, O Most Merciful! O Allah, O Most Merciful! O Allah, O Most Merciful! O Allah, O Most Merciful! To You belong the Most Beautiful Names, the highest examples, the majesty, and the blessings. I ask You to send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad. And I ask You by "In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful." That You make my name on this noble day among the fortunate. And my soul among the martyrs. And my deeds accepted, and my good actions in the highest ranks. And my sins forgiven, O Lord of the Worlds.

Transliteration

Wa as’aluka yaqīnan ṣādiqan yubāshiru qalbī Wa īmānan yudhhibu al-shakka ‘annī Wa as’aluka qalban khāshi‘an wa ‘ilman nāfi‘an Wa as’aluka al-‘āfiyata min kulli balīyah Wa as’aluka tamāma al-‘āfiyati wa dawāma al-‘āfiyah Yā waliyy al-‘āfiyah, jammil ‘alayya bi al-sitr Wa al-salāmah wa al-‘āfiyah fī al-dīn wa al-dunyā wa al-ākhirah Allāhumma innī as’aluka an tubārika lī fīmā qasamta lī Wa ātinī fī al-dunyā ḥasanah wa fī al-ākhirah ḥasanah Wa qinī ‘adhāba al-nār Wa ‘adhāba al-ḥarīq, wa ‘adhāba al-sa‘īr, wa ‘adhāba al-jaḥīm Wa ‘adhāba al-samūm, wa ‘adhāba al-khizy fī al-dunyā wa al-ākhirah

Translation

And I ask You for true certainty that fills my heart. And faith that removes doubt from me. And I ask You for a humble heart and beneficial knowledge. And I ask You for well-being from every affliction. And I ask You for complete well-being and its continuity. O Guardian of well-being, bestow upon me protection. And grant me safety and well-being in religion, in this world, and in the Hereafter. O Allah, I ask You to bless me in what You have allotted for me. And grant me goodness in this world and goodness in the Hereafter. And protect me from the punishment of the Fire. And from the torment of burning, the blazing Hell, and the abyss of Hellfire. And from the scorching torment and the humiliation in this world and the Hereafter.

Transliteration

Wa a‘ūdhu bika mina al-‘adhābi al-adnā wa a‘ūdhu bika mina al-‘adhābi al-akbar Allāhumma Rabba Muḥammad wa Āli Muḥammad, ṣalli ‘alā Muḥammad wa Āli Muḥammad Wa arzuqnī fī hādhihi al-laylah shukraka wa dhikraka Wa al-raghbata ilayka wa al-inābah wa al-ikhlāṣ wa al-khushū‘ Wa al-ikhbāta wa al-yaqīn limā yurḍīka ‘annī yā arḥama al-rāḥimīn Allāhumma ṣalli ‘alā Muḥammad wa Āli Muḥammad, wa lā taruddani khā’iban wa lā maqbūḥan Wa aj‘alnī mina al-maqbūlīn wa fī al-ākhirah mina al-fā’izīn Bi raḥmatika yā arḥama al-rāḥimīn Wa ṣallā Allāhu ‘alā sayyidinā Muḥammad al-nabiyy wa ālihi wa sallam

Translation

And I seek refuge in You from the lesser punishment, and I seek refuge in You from the greater punishment. O Allah, Lord of Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, send Your blessings upon Muhammad and his family. And grant me in this night gratitude towards You and remembrance of You. And the longing for You, repentance, sincerity, and humility. And submissiveness and certainty in what pleases You concerning me, O Most Merciful of the merciful. O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, and do not return me disappointed or rejected. And make me among the accepted ones, and in the Hereafter among the successful ones. By Your mercy, O Most Merciful of the merciful. And may Allah send blessings upon our master Muhammad, the Prophet, and his family, and grant them peace.

Translation

“There is no god but God – Director of all affairs! He who brings the various periods! He who creates all things by His Wisdom to indicate His having been from ever before and His being Eternal. He establishes certain incumbent rights for whoever He pleases out of His Kindness and Mercy so that those who ask may use them to ask and hope for the fulfillment of their supplications. Glory be to Him who created. There are many means to Him, and tools exist towards Him. Glory be to Him whom privation shall not destroy and need shall not debase! He is not surrounded by any needs, and does not fear that the Provider may cut off His sustenance. He does not fear the Wrath of the Creator. He has Mercy on those who are subject to these traits and are restricted and fear Him who controls all the affairs and to Him is all our return. He has Power over all that He Wills! O‟ my God! Please bestow Your Blessings on Your Servant, Messenger and Prophet Muhammad and his Progeny (as) – who delivered Your Message, clarified Your Reasons. He delivered Your Book and deserves to receive Your Reward. He clearly showed the way of what You made lawful and what You forbade, and uncovered Your Slogans and Signs. Indeed this is the night which You called the Night of Destiny, and on which You sent down Your Solid Book, and made it nobler than a thousand months. It is the night of gifts for the accepted and calamities for the rejected. Woe be upon those who return with Your Wrath and blessed be those who enjoy Your Mercy on that night.

Translation

O‟ God! Please bless me with waking up at nights during it, and considering what You exalted on it without my death or its approach without losing hope or missing that night. Grant me success in doing deeds that would be raised up, heard supplications, mercied crying, removed evil, bestowed good, sure forgiveness, extended sustenance, purified offenses,cleansed sins, payed off debts, rights honored, perfected health, continued well-being, alleviated worries, remedied ailments, supported good deeds, disclosed good acts, removed calamities, behaved children and a good wife. Please defeat and overcome enemies, take care of their sorrowful acts, overcome their power, attack them back, defeat them, tie their hands to their chests, dumb their tongues from what disturbs me, and force them to bend their heads down towards their chests. O‟ my God! O‟ my Master and Guardian! Please protect me against oppression, failure, betrayal and being fooled. O‟ my Master! Please take care of the evils of Your creatures for me. Please take care of the evils of all Your creatures for me. Please grant them blessings from me until it is sent to me in the latest generations. Remember my parents and all the believing men and women with Your Mercy and Forgiveness like a master does for his servants and maids who have been separated from their friends, cannot hear or whisper, and with residence between the layers of the earth; whom calamities have torn into pieces. O‟ my God! Indeed You have established a right for my parents incumbent upon me that I fulfilled by asking You for forgiveness for them. I cannot fulfill this right except through You. And You made it obligatory to pray for them and I prayed for them to You. I only have the power to do that much, but You have Power. I have no authority but You do! O‟ my God! Do not punish me for what You made incumbent on me, and do not turn me over to others in what You made incumbent. Let me have a share of all good prayers, and let all the believing men and women have a share of my prayers except for those who opposed Your Friends and fought with Your Chosen Ones. They wrongfully took charge of the affairs after Your Prophets (as), died in their state of deviation and were entrapped in their own loss. I disown from praying for them to You. You hold everyone responsible for what they earn! You forgive minor sins and destroy major sins by There is no God but You. ‟ Glory be to You! I am amongst the oppressors! Please cover me with Your Kindness – O‟ the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful. And may God bestow blessings on the Prophet Muhammad and his Progeny (as) and greet them many times.‟
