Dua and Amaal for 24th of the month of Ramadan

Transliteration

allahumma inni as’aluka fihi ma yurdika wa a`udhu bika mimma yu´dhika wa as’aluka alttawfiqa fihi lian a’uti`aka wa la a`siyaka ya jawada alssa’ilina

Translation

O Allah; on this day, I beseech You for that which pleases You, And I seek Your protection against that which hurts You, And I beseech You for leading me to obey You and avoid disobeying You, O He Who treats the beseechers magnanimously.

Translation

“Glory be to Him who knows what every female bears and what the wombs push off and what they grow. Everything with Him is measured. He is the Knower of all that is hidden and open – the Great, the Exalted. Those who hide the words and those who make it known, those who lurk in the night and those who go freely in the daytime are equal to Him. Glory be to God who causes to die what is living, and gives life to what is dead. He knows that which the earth consumes of them, and causes what He Wills, to remain in the wombs for an appointed time. Glory be to God, the Creator of the breath of life! Glory be to God, the Bestower of Forms! Glory be to God who created all the pairs, male and female! Glory be to God who fixed the darkness and light! Glory be to God who splits grains and seeds! Glory be to God, the Creator of all things! Glory be to God, the Creator of the seen and the unseen! Glory be to God to the Extent of His Words!

Translation

Say three times. Glory be to God, the Lord of the worlds!”

Translation

“O‟ my God! You ordered us to pray and guaranteed its fulfillment. So we prayed to you. We are Your Servants and the children of Your creatures. You control all our affairs You are our Lord and we are Your Servants. The servant does not ask anyone else like You We desire You and the people do not desire anyone else O‟ He who settles the complaints of those who ask! O‟ the ultimate need of those who desire! O‟ Lord of Omnipotence and Kingdom! O‟ Lord of Authority and Majesty! ... O‟ the Living! O‟ the Eternal! O‟ Kind! O‟ Merciful! O‟ Giver! O‟ Bestower! O‟ Creator of the heavens and the earth O‟ Lord of Majesty, Bounty and Honor! O‟ Lord of Great Blessings! O‟ Lord of Bestowals that do not end! Please bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad and his Progeny (as). Please forgive me as You are All-Forgiving, Merciful!”

Translation

O Allah, I ask You, O You whose praise is declared in the beginning and the end, to whom belongs judgment, and to whom all affairs are returned. O You who are most knowledgeable of the hearts of all beings. O You who initiate creation and then repeat it, and it is easier for You, and for You is the highest example in the heavens and the earth. And He is the Might, the Wise. O You who perfected everything You created and began the creation of man from clay. O You who are the Truth and guide to the path. O You who repelled those who disbelieved in their rage, not achieving any good and Allah sufficed the believers in battle, for Allah is Strong, Almighty.

Translation

O You who know what is on the earth and what comes out of it, what descends from the sky, and what ascends in it, and You are the Forgiving, the Merciful. I ask You, by what You have obligated upon Yourself for those who ask of You, and by all Your names, and by what I have confided in You today, to make me steadfast so I do not falter, to guide me so I do not go astray, to prevent me from acting ignorantly or being treated with ignorance, not to involve me in the shedding of blood unjustly, not to empower me to oppress anyone, not to make me among the wrongdoers, not to make me ally to Your enemy or oppose Your ally,

Translation

not to make me content with Your displeasure or displease You with what pleases me, not to reject any of Your seekers or answer any caller to misguidance, not to deny Your signs or to incur Your wrath, not to follow my desires without guidance from You, not to say to those who disbelieve that they are more guided than those who believe. I ask You, O Lord, to send blessings upon Muhammad and his virtuous family, to forbid my body to the fire, to make me, O Lord, among the righteous. Indeed, You are Merciful and Compassionate, by Your mercy, O Most Merciful of the merciful. Indeed, You are capable of all things, and may Allah send blessings upon our master Muhammad and his pure family.

Transliteration

Ya fāliq al-isbāḥi wa ya jā‘il al-layli sakanan wa al-shamsa wa al-qamara ḥusbānan Ya ‘azīzu ya dhā al-ṭawli wa al-manni wa al-quwwati wa al-ḥawli wa al-faḍli wa al-in‘āmi wa al-jalāli wa al-ikrām Ya Allahu ya Raḥmān ya Fard ya Mu’min ya Muhaymin Ya Allahu ya ẓāhir ya Allahu ya bāṭin ya Allahu ya ḥayy Ya lā ilāha illā anta ya Allahu ya Allahu ya Allahu laka Al-asmā’u al-ḥusnā wa al-amthālu al-‘ulyā wa al-kibriyā’u wa al-ālā’u As’aluka an tuṣalliya ‘alā Muḥammad wa āli Muḥammad wa allā taj‘alanī mimman idhā ṣiḥḥa amina wa idhā saqima khāfa Wa idhā istaghnā futina wa idhā iftaqara khāfa wa idhā maraḍa tāba wa idhā ‘ūfiya ‘āda Allahumma innī as’aluka al-hudā wa al-taqwā wa al-sa‘ata wa al-‘āfiyata wa al-ghinā Rabbi iṣrif wajhī ‘ani al-nār wa iṣrifi al-nāra ‘an wajhī Allahumma innī as’aluka ya Allahu ya wāḥid ya aḥad ya ṣamad Wa uktub lī barā’atan mina al-nār wa amānan mina al-‘adhāb

Translation

O Splitter of the dawn, and the One who made the night a rest, and the sun and the moon in due measure. O Mighty One, O Possessor of Bounty, Grace, Strength, Power, Favor, Blessing, Majesty, and Honor. O Allah, O Most Merciful, O Unique One, O Bestower of Faith, O Guardian. O Allah, O Manifest One, O Allah, O Hidden One, O Allah, O Ever-Living. O there is no deity but You, O Allah, O Allah, O Allah, to You. The Most Beautiful Names, the Highest Examples, the Majesty, and the Bounties. I ask You to bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad and not to make me among those who, when healthy, feel secure but when sick, become fearful. And when wealthy, becomes tempted; and when poor, becomes afraid; and when sick, repents; and when healed, returns (to sin). O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, abundance, well-being, and sufficiency. My Lord, turn my face away from the Fire, and turn the Fire away from my face. O Allah, I ask You, O Allah, O One, O Unique, O Self-Sufficient. And decree for me freedom from the Fire and safety from punishment.

Transliteration

Wa jawāzan ‘ala al-ṣirāṭ wa naṣīban mina al-jannati wa adkhilnī mudkhal ṣidqin Allahumma ṣalli ‘alā Muḥammad wa āli Muḥammad wa astajib lī du‘ā’ī wa arḥam taḍarru‘ī wa shakwayā Rabbana ātinā fi al-dunyā ḥasanatan wa fi al-ākhirati ḥasanatan wa qinā ‘adhāba al-nār Bi-raḥmatika ya arḥama al-rāḥimīn wa ṣallā Allahu ‘alā sayyidinā Muḥammad al-nabiyy wa ālihi wa sallam.

Translation

And a pass over the Bridge (of Judgment), and a share in Paradise, and grant me a true entrance. O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, answer my supplication, have mercy on my humility and my complaints. Our Lord, grant us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire. By Your mercy, O Most Merciful of the merciful, and may Allah bless our Master Muhammad, the Prophet, and his family, and grant them peace.

Translation

“Praise be to God evenly and oddly in the even and odd nights of these blessed nights for all the good things that He favored and bestowed upon me on them plus the good things that remain for me which He donated to me in charity. He made me fast and rewarded me for it, and He fed me with the sustenance He provided for me to break my fast with. This was all from Him due to His Favor due to His Kind Choice and attention to His Servants! Glory be to Him – the Master who took my hand and saved me from the disastrous situations! He wiped off my wrongdoings and took care of my important needs. He made us needless of the creatures and did not let my provisions be in the hands of those who are themselves provided for. He made me reputable in the world, and recorded my name amongst those who are mentioned. He did not make me suffer from haughtiness that would lower my rank, and did not make me suffer from the darkness of His Wrath and Chastisements! He did not make me suffer from considering what is forbidden to be legitimate that could strip off the robes of His Mercy from me and wear the robes of His Wrath instead! I thank Him alone and I worship Him only! I have hopes of increase and perfection from Him! There is no change nor any strength exept by God – the Sublime, the Supreme and may God bestow blessings on the Prophet Muhammad and his Progeny (as) and may His peace be on them plentifully.”

Transliteration

ya faliqa al-isbahi wa ja`ila allayli sakanan walshshamsa walqamara husbanan ya `azizu ya `alimu ya dha almanni walttawli walquwwati walhawli walfadli wal-in`ami waljalali wal-ikrami ya allahu ya rahmanu ya allahu ya fardu ya witru ya allahu ya ¨ahiru ya batinu ya hayyu la ilaha illa anta

Translation

O Cleaver of the daybreak, appointer of the night for stillness and the sun and the moon for reckoning! O Almighty! O All-knowing! O Lord of favors, munificence, power, might, grace, bestowal, majesty, and honor! O Allah! O All-beneficent! O Allah! O Single! O Singular! O Allah! O Evident! O Immanent! O Ever-living! There is no god save You.

Transliteration

laka al-asma'u alhusna wal-amthalu al`ulya walkibriya’u wal-ala'u as'aluka an tusalliya `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin wa an taj`ala ismi fi hadhihi allaylati fi alssu`ada'i wa ruhi ma`a alshshuhada'i wa ihsani fi `illiyyina wa isa'ati maghfuratan wa an tahaba li yaqinan tubashiru bihi qalbi wa imanan yudhhibu alshshakka `anni wa turdiyani bima qasamta li wa atina fi alddunya hasanatan

Translation

To You are the Most Excellent Names, the most elevated examples, greatness, and bounties. I beseech You to bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad, include my name with the list of the happiest ones, add my soul to the martyrs, record my good deeds in the most exalted rank, decide my offense to be forgiven, grant me certitude that fills in my heart and faith that removes doubt from me, make me feel satisfied with that which You decide for me, grant us reward in this world

Transliteration

wa fi al-akhirati hasanatan wa qina `adhaba alnnari alhariqi warzuqni fiha dhikraka wa shukraka walrraghbata ilayka wal-inabata walttawfiqa lima waffaqta lahu muhammadan wa ala muhammadin `alayhi wa `alayhimu alssalamu

Translation

and reward in the Hereafter, save us from the torment of the burning Fire, and confer upon us at this night Your mentioning, thanking You, desiring for You, turning to You, and success to that to which You led Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad, peace be upon him and them.
