Dua and Amaal for 25th of the month of Ramadan

Transliteration

allahumma aj`alny fihi muhibban liawliya’ika wa mu`adiyan lia`da’ika mustannan bisunnati khatami anbiya’ika ya `asima qulub alnnabiyyina

Translation

O Allah; on this day, (please) make me bear love for Your intimate servants, And bear enmity to Your enemies, And follow the instruction of the seal of Your Prophets; O the Protector of the Prophet’s hearts.

Translation

“Glory be to God who knows everything that is in the heavens and the earth. There is no three person conversation in which He is not the fourth party. There is no five person conversation in which He is not the sixth person. There are no conversations in between any number of people in which He is not involved – as many as they may be He shall let them know what they did on the Resurrection Day as God is Aware of all things. Glory be to God, the Creator of the breath of life! Glory be to God, the Bestower of Forms! Glory be to God who created all the pairs, male and female! Glory be to God who fixed the darkness and light! Glory be to God who splits grains and seeds! Glory be to God, the Creator of all things! Glory be to God, the Creator of the seen and the unseen! Glory be to God to the Extent of His Words! Glory be to God, the Lord of the worlds!

Translation

“… blessed be Allah, the best to create! who created the creatures, brought about the clouds, and ordered lightning to glorify Him. Blessed be He in Whose hands is Dominion; and He over all things hath Power;- He Who created Death and Life, that He may try which of you is best in deed… Blessed is He who sent down the criterion to His servant, that it may be an admonition to all creatures. is He who, if that were His Will, could give You better (things) than those,- Gardens beneath which rivers flow; and He Blessed could give You palaces (secure to dwell in).‟ blessed be Allah, the best to create! Our Lord and Lord of the universe & everything in it Send Blessings on Muhammad & his family Grant us paradise& refuge from Hell,Verily You are the best Bestower

Translation

O Allah, I ask You, O You who subjected the mountains and made iron soft for David, O You who holds the heavens from falling onto the earth except by Your permission, O You who holds the heavens and the earth from vanishing, O You who gives life to the dead, and is written down and everything they did and their traces are recorded in a clear ledger. O You who created all pairs from what the earth grows, from themselves, and from what they do not know. O You who brings the dead to life when the bones are decayed. O You who bestowed favor upon Moses and Aaron and saved them from great distress. O You whose word precedes for His servants, the messengers and the believers. O You who gave David wisdom and clear speech.

Translation

O You who subjected the wind to Solomon, running by His command gently wherever he desired. O Forgiver of sin, Acceptor of repentance, severe in punishment. O Possessor of bounty, there is no deity but He; to Him is the return. O You who know the deceit of the eyes and what the breasts conceal, I ask You, by what I have confided in You today in hope of Your pardon, to pardon me and open for me the doors of all good through Your generosity, mercy, and forgiveness. Enable me to perform the deeds most beloved to You, guide me to what brings me closer to You and clothes me in Your satisfaction. Direct me to the sweetest of words in Your sight

Translation

and gather me on the Day I meet You with the best of Your creation. Make Muhammad and his pure family my intercessors, include me among their party and their followers. Grant me the best of the two worlds, and turn away from me the evil of my soul and all that You dislike from anyone among Your creation. Indeed, You are capable of all things, by Your mercy, O Most Merciful of the Merciful. And may Allah send blessings upon our master Muhammad and his pure family.

Transliteration

Allāhumma yā jā‘ila al-layli libāsan wa an-nahāri ma‘āshan Wa al-’arḍi mihādan wa al-jibāli awtādan Yā Allāhu yā qādiru yā Allāhu yā qāhiru Yā Allāhu yā ḥannān yā Allāhu yā mannān Yā Allāhu yā samī‘u yā qarību yā Allāhu yā mujību Yā Allāhu yā bā‘ithu yā Allāhu yā wārithu Yā Allāhu yā ḥaqq yā Allāhu yā wakīl Yā Allāhu yā kafīl yā Allāhu yā rabbī Yā Allāhu yā muqītu yā Allāhu yā ḥasību Yā Allāhu yā jalīl yā Allāhu yā jamīl Yā Allāhu yā nūr yā Allāhu dhā al-‘aẓamah Wa al-jabarūt wa al-faḍl wa al-iḥsān wa al-mann wa as-sulṭān

Translation

O Allah, the One who made the night a covering and the day a means of livelihood. And the earth a resting place, and the mountains as pegs. O Allah, O All-Powerful! O Allah, O Overwhelming! O Allah, O Most Compassionate! O Allah, O Most Generous! O Allah, O All-Hearing, O Near One! O Allah, O Responsive! O Allah, O Resurrector! O Allah, O Inheritor! O Allah, O The Absolute Truth! O Allah, O Trustee! O Allah, O The Guarantor! O Allah, O My Lord! O Allah, O Sustainer! O Allah, O Reckoner! O Allah, O Majestic! O Allah, O Beautiful! O Allah, O Light! O Allah, Possessor of Greatness! And Absolute Power, and Grace, and Excellence, and Beneficence, and Sovereignty.

Transliteration

Subḥāna alladhī aḥṣā kulla shay’in ‘ilmuhu Subḥāna alladhī ‘amma al-khalā’iq rizquhu Subḥānaka lā ilāha illā anta Subḥānaka innī kuntu mina aẓ-ẓālimīn Allāhumma aj‘al nūran fī qalbī wa nūran fī sam‘ī Wa nūran fī baṣarī wa nūran fī sha‘rī Wa nūran fī basharī wa nūran fī ‘iẓāmī Wa nūran fī laḥmī wa nūran fī damī Wa nūran ‘an yamīnī wa nūran ‘an shimālī Wa nūran min fawqī wa nūran min taḥtī Wa nūran min bayna yadayya wa nūran min khalfī Allāhumma a‘ṭinī nūran wa hab lī nūran

Translation

Glory be to Him who has encompassed all things in His knowledge. Glory be to Him whose provision extends to all creatures. Glory be to You! There is no god but You. Glory be to You! Indeed, I was among the wrongdoers. O Allah, place light in my heart and light in my hearing. And light in my sight, and light in my hair. And light in my skin, and light in my bones. And light in my flesh, and light in my blood. And light on my right, and light on my left. And light above me, and light beneath me. And light before me, and light behind me. O Allah, grant me light and bestow upon me light.

Transliteration

Wa aj‘al lī nūran yā nūra as-samāwāti wa al-arḍ Yā arḥama ar-rāḥimīn Allāhumma innī as’aluka An tuṣalliya ‘alā Muḥammadin wa āli Muḥammad Wa an tu‘tiqanī mina an-nāri wa tudkhilanī jannāt Tajrī min taḥtihā al-anhāru innaka wāḥidun ‘azīzun ghaffār Allāhumma innaka ta‘lamu sirrī faqbal ma‘dhiratī Wa ta‘lamu mā fī nafsī fa-aqilnī ‘athratī Wa ta‘lamu ḥājātī fa-a‘ṭinī mas’alatī Yā arḥama ar-rāḥimīn As’aluka an tuṣalliya ‘alā Muḥammadin wa āli Muḥammad Wa an tunaffisa ‘annī kurbatī wa taqḍiya ‘annī daynī Wa turḍiya ‘annī aṣḥāba at-tabi‘āti min khalqik

Translation

And make light for me, O Light of the heavens and the earth! O Most Merciful of the merciful! O Allah, I ask You. To send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad. And to free me from the Fire, and admit me into gardens. Beneath which rivers flow. Indeed, You are One, Mighty, and Forgiving. O Allah, You know my secret, so accept my excuse. And You know what is in my soul, so pardon my slip. And You know my needs, so grant me my request. O Most Merciful of the merciful! I ask You to send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad. And to relieve my distress and pay off my debt. And to make those I owe from Your creation pleased with me.

Transliteration

Bi faḍlik wa jūdik wa karamika lā bi-istihqāqī Yā arḥama ar-rāḥimīn aḥyinī bi-‘izzatika al-qāhirah Wa sulṭānika al-‘aẓīm fa-innaka ḥayyun qayyūmun lā yamūtu Wa ṣallā Allāhu ‘alā sayyidinā Muḥammadin an-nabiyy wa ālih wa sallama taslīman Allāhumma aj‘al sa‘yī fīhi [fī hādhā al-yawm] mashkūran Wa dhanbī bi-‘afwika fīhi maghfūran Wa ‘amalī fīhi maqbūlan wa ‘aybī bi-jūdika fīhi mastūran Wa aghninī fīhi bi-jūdika yā asma‘a as-sāmi‘īn Yā mujība da‘awāti al-mubtahilīn Yā sāmi‘a aṣwāti al-mubtahilīn bi-raḥmatika Yā arḥama ar-rāḥimīn

Translation

By Your grace, generosity, and kindness—not by my own worthiness. O Most Merciful of the merciful! Grant me life through Your overwhelming might. And Your great sovereignty, for You are the Ever-Living, the Sustainer, who never dies. And may Allah send blessings upon our master Muhammad, the Prophet, and his family, and grant them peace. O Allah, make my efforts in this [day] appreciated. And forgive my sins through Your pardon. And accept my deeds, and conceal my faults through Your generosity. And enrich me in it through Your generosity, O Best of listeners. O Responder to the supplications of the humble. O Hearer of the voices of the pleading ones, through Your mercy. O Most Merciful of the merciful!

Transliteration

ya ja`ila allayli libasan walnnahari ma`ashan wal-ardi mihadan waljibali awtadan ya allahu ya qahiru ya allahu ya jabbaru ya allahu ya sami`u ya allahu ya qaribu ya allahu ya mujibu ya allahu ya allahu ya allahu laka al-asma'u alhusna wal-amthalu al`ulya

Translation

O He Who makes night a covering, makes daylight for seeking livelihood, makes the earth an expanse, and mountains bulwarks! O Allah! O Dominant! O Allah! O Omnipotent! O Allah! O All-hearing! O Allah! O Nigh! O Allah! O Responding! O Allah! O Allah! O Allah! To You are the Most Excellent Names, the most elevated examples,

Transliteration

walkibriya’u wal-ala'u as'aluka an tusalliya `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin wa an taj`ala ismi fi hadhihi allaylati fi alssu`ada'i wa ruhi ma`a alshshuhada'i wa ihsani fi `illiyyina wa isa'ati maghfuratan wa an tahaba li yaqinan tubashiru bihi qalbi wa imanan yudhhibu alshshakka `anni wa turdiyani bima qasamta li wa atina fi alddunya hasanatan wa fi al-akhirati hasanatan wa qina `adhaba alnnari alhariqi

Translation

greatness, and bounties. I beseech You to bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad, include my name with the list of the happiest ones, add my soul to the martyrs, record my good deeds in the most exalted rank, decide my offense to be forgiven, grant me certitude that fills in my heart and faith that removes doubt from me, make me feel satisfied with that which You decide for me, grant us reward in this world and reward in the Hereafter, save us from the torment of the burning Fire,

Transliteration

warzuqni fiha dhikraka wa shukraka walrraghbata ilayka wal-inabata walttawfiqa lima waffaqta lahu muhammadan wa ala muhammadin `alayhi wa `alayhimu alssalamu

Translation

and confer upon us at this night Your mentioning, thanking You, desiring for You, turning to You, and success to that to which You led Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad, peace be upon him and them. O the most compassionate Most Merciful.Do not test me by trying to gain what You are withholding from me with Your Power and Strength. O‟ Lord! Please give me affluence with sustenance from Your Extensive Sustenance that You have made lawful and not of what You forbade. Please bless me with piety regarding both my stomach and my private parts. Please relieve me from all sorrow and sadness, and do not subject me to my enemy‟s ridicule.

Translation

And on the Night of Destiny give me success better than anyone has seen and give me success as You gave Muhammad and his Progeny (MGB) success and fulfill such and such things for me at this very hour.‟

Translation

“I ask You to complete my rewards better than hoped for from Your Mercy and fend off all evil from me since I cannot fend them off except by You. I made it to the evening while I am responsible for my own actions. I made it to the evening with my destiny in Your Hand. There is no poor one poorer than me. Please bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad and his Progeny (MGB). Please forgive my crimes, transgressions, ignorance, seriousness, joking and all the sins that I committed. And please let me obtain my sustenance without any hardship for me. And do not destroy my soul and body seeking what is not destined for me – O‟ the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful.”
