Dua and Amaal for 26th of the month of Ramadan

Transliteration

allahumma aj`al sa`iy fihi mashkuran wa dhanby fihi maghfuran wa `amaly fihi maqbulan wa `ayby fihi masturan ya asma`a alssami`ina

Translation

O Allah: on this day, (please) decide my efforts to be praiseworthy, And my sins to be forgiven, And my deeds to be accepted, And my defects to be concealed; O the most Hearing of all those who can hear.

Translation

“Glory be to God who knows everything that is in the heavens and the earth. There is no three person conversation in which He is not the fourth party. There is no five person conversation in which He is not the sixth person. There are no conversations in between any number of people in which He is not involved – as many as they may be He shall let them know what they did on the Resurrection Day as God is Aware of all things. Glory be to God, the Creator of the breath of life! Glory be to God, the Bestower of Forms! Glory be to God who created all the pairs, male and female! Glory be to God who fixed the darkness and light! Glory be to God who splits grains and seeds! Glory be to God, the Creator of all things! Glory be to God, the Creator of the seen and the unseen! Glory be to God to the Extent of His Words! Glory be to God, the Lord of the worlds!

“Our Lord!‟ (they say), „Let not our hearts deviate now after You have guided us, but grant us mercy from Your own Presence; for You are the Grantor of bounties without measure.‟2 „Our Lord! We have heard the call of one calling (Us) to Faith, „Believe ye in the Lord,‟ and we have believed. Our Lord! Forgive us our sins, blot out from us our iniquities, and take to Yourself our souls in the company of the righteous. Our Lord! Grant us what You didst promise unto us through Your apostles, and save us from shame on the Day of Judgment: For You never breakest Your promise.‟3 “Our Lord! Condemn us not if we forget or fall into error; our Lord! Lay not on us a burden like that which You didst lay on those before us; Our Lord! Lay not on us a burden greater than we have strength to bear. Blot out our sins, and grant us forgiveness. Have mercy on us. You are our Protector; Help us against those who stand against faith.‟ ”4 Bless Muhammad and His household Accept our prayers forgive us &an our parents and grandparents You are most merciful

Translation

O Allah, I ask You, O He who decreed the seven heavens in two days, and revealed in every heaven its command, O He who sends down the rain after despair and spreads His mercy, and He is the Protector, the Praiseworthy. O He who knows the secret of His servants and their whisper, and His messengers among them write down. O He to whom belongs greatness in the heavens and the earth, and He is the Mighty, the Wise. O He who gives life and causes death, our Lord and the Lord of our ancient fathers. O He who destroyed towns and varied the signs, perhaps they would return.

Translation

O He who was pleased with the believers when they pledged allegiance under the tree, knew what was in their hearts, so He sent down tranquility upon them and rewarded them with an imminent victory. O He who sent His messenger with the guidance and the religion of truth to make it prevail over all religion, and sufficient is Allah as a witness. I ask You, O my God, by praising You, to bless Your chosen one from Your creation and his pure and noble family, and those who believed in them, verified them, and acted in obedience to them.

Translation

And to be kind to me with Your blessings, expand my provision and grace from You, complete Your favors upon me, delight me with Your nobility, make me among those who are grateful to You. My desire is towards You, You are sufficient for me, my trust is in You, my submission is to You, all my needs are towards You, decided by You, with You there is no refuge, no escape, no shelter except towards You. And to complete Your kindness towards me by freeing my neck from the Fire and gathering me with the family of Your Prophet, the best and the virtuous.

Translation

Indeed, You are capable of everything and it is easy for You. I am in need of Your goodness, and may Allah's blessings be upon our master Muhammad and his pure family

Ja‘ila al-layli wa al-nahāri āyatayn yā māḥiya Āyati al-layli wa jā‘ila āyati al-nahāri mubṣiratan Linabtaghiya faḍlan minhu wa riḍwānan yā mufaṣṣila Kulli shay’in tafṣīlan yā māni‘a al-samāwāti an Taqa‘a ‘alā al-arḍi illā bi-idhnihi wa ḥāfiẓahumā An tazūlā wa la’in zālatā in amsakahumā Min aḥadin min ba‘dihi innahu kāna ḥalīman ghafūran Yā Allāhu yā wāḥidu yā Allāhu yā aḥadu Yā Allāhu yā ṣamadu yā Allāhu yā wahhābu Yā Allāhu yā jawādan lā yabkhalu yā Allāhu Laka al-asmā’u al-ḥusnā wa al-amthālu al-‘ulyā Wa al-kibriyā’u wa al-ālā’u as’aluka anafatan ‘an

Translation

O You who made night and day two signs, O Eraser Of night’s sign and maker of day’s sign illuminating So we seek His bounty and satisfaction, O Detailer Of all things distinctly, O Preventer of the heavens From falling on earth except by His permission, Preserver From vanishing, and if they vanish, none holds them After Him, indeed He is Forbearing and Forgiving O Allah, O One, O Allah, O Unique O Allah, O Eternal, O Allah, O Bestower O Allah, O Generous who never withholds, O Allah Yours are the Most Beautiful Names and highest examples And grandeur and blessings, I ask You detachment from

Al-dunyā wa bughḍan li-ahlihā fa-inna khayrahā zahīdun Wa sharrahā ‘atīdun wa jam‘uhā yanfadu wa ṣafwuhā Yarnaqu wa jadīduhā yakhlAqu wa khayruhā yatakaddaru Mā fāta minhā ḥasratun wa mā uṣība Minhā fitnatun illā mā nālathu minhu ‘iṣmatun Allāhumma innī as’aluka al-‘iṣmata minhā wa allā Taj‘alanī kaman iṭma’anna ilayhā wa akhlada ilayhā Wa ittaba‘a hawāhu ilāhī wa sayyidī kam lī Min dhanbin ba‘da dhanbin wa sarafin ba‘da sarafin Satartahu yā Rabbi wa lam takshif sitraka ‘annī Bal satarta al-‘awrata wa kathurat minnī al-isā’atu Wa ‘aẓuma ḥilmuka ‘annī ḥattā khiftu an akūna

Translation

The world and disdain for its people, its good is trivial Its evil is ready, its wealth depletes, its purity Tarnishes, its new wears out, its good clouds What’s lost from it is regret, what’s gained From it is trial, except what attains protection O Allah, I ask You protection from it and not To make me like those content and clinging to it And following desires, my God and Master, how many Sins after sins and excesses after excesses I have You concealed, O Lord, without lifting Your veil from me Rather, You covered my flaws despite my many offenses Your forbearance toward me grew until I feared I might

Transliteration

Mustadrajā ilāhī wa sayyidī hādhihi yadī wa nāṣiyatī Biyadika muqirrun bi-dhanbī mu‘tarifun bi-khaṭī’atī Fa-in ta‘fu farubbamā ‘afawta wa ṣafaḥta wa aḥsanta Fatafaḍḍalta wa in tu‘adhdhibnī fabimā qaddamat yadāya Wa mā anta bi-ẓallāmin lil-‘abīdi Allāhumma innī As’aluka an tuṣalliya ‘alā Muḥammadin wa āli Muḥammadin Yā mālik al-dunyā wa al-ākhirati yā man lahu Al-samāwātu wa al-arḍu yā man lahu al-khalqu Wa al-amru yā man biyadihi malakūtu kulli shay’in Yā man yujīru wa lā yujāru ‘alayhi as’aluka Fī hādhihi al-sā‘ati bijāhi Muḥammadin wa āli Muḥammadin An tuṣalliya ‘alā Muḥammadin wa āli Muḥammadin wa

Be ensnared, my God and Master, here’s my hand My forelock in Your hand, confessing my sin and error If You pardon, perhaps You’ll forgive, overlook, and show kindness Bestowing favor, or punish me for what my hands sent You’re not unjust to servants, O Allah, I Ask You to bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad O Owner of this world and Hereafter, O You who Owns the heavens and earth, O You who owns creation And command, O You in whose hand is dominion O You who grants refuge, none against Him, I ask In this hour by the honor of Muhammad and his family To bless Muhammad and his family and

Transliteration

An tujīranī mina al-nāri fī yawmi al-dīni Yawma yuḥsharu al-ẓālimūna yawma lā yanfa‘u mālun Wa lā banūna illā man atā Allāha bi-qalbin Salīmin Allāhumma sallim qalbī mina al-ḥasadi wa Al-baghī wa al-kibri wa al-‘ujbi wa al-riyā’i Wa al-nifāqi wa sū’i al-akhlāqi Allāhumma innī A‘ūdhu bika min ghinan yuṭghī wa min faqrin Yunsī wa min jārin yu’dhī wa a‘ūdhu bika Min faḍā’iḥi al-faqri wa min madhallati al-dīni Wa min shamātati al-‘aduwwi Allāhumma innī a‘ūdhu Bika min mawqifin yu‘riḍu fīhi al-ṣadīqu wa yashmatu Bī fīhi al-‘aduwwu wa yarḥamunī fīhi al-ḥamīmu

Translation

To shield me from the Fire on Judgment Day When wrongdoers are gathered, when wealth will not avail Nor sons, except who comes to Allah with a Sound heart, O Allah, purify my heart from envy And oppression, pride, arrogance, and hypocrisy And duplicity and bad character, O Allah, I Seek refuge with You from corrupting wealth and poverty That forgets, a harmful neighbor, I seek refuge From poverty’s scandals and the humiliation of debt And enemies’ gloating, O Allah, I seek refuge With You from a situation where a friend turns away An enemy gloats, a close one pities me

Transliteration

Wa tazdarinī fīhi al-‘uyūnu wa tasū’unī fīhi Al-ẓunūnu wa a‘ūdhu yā Rabbi an u‘ādiya Laka waliyyan aw uwāliya laka ‘aduwwan aw Aqūla li-ḥaqqin hādhā bāṭilun aw aqūla li-bāṭilin Hādhā ḥaqqun aw aqūla lilladhīna kafarū hā’ulā’i Ahdā mina al-ladhīna āmanū sabīlan Allāhumma sallimnī Wa sallim lī dīnī wa a‘innī ‘alā ṭā‘atika Wa waffiqnī li-marḍātika wa ij‘alnī mimman ya‘taṣimu Bi-ḥablika wa mimman yuḥillu ḥalālaka wa yuḥarrimu Ḥarāmaka wa yu’minu bika wa yatawakkalu ‘alayka Wa yaruddu umūrahu kullahā ilayka wa fawwaḍtu Amrī ilayka wa aslamtu nafsī wa alja’tu

Eyes despise me, and suspicions about me worsen O Lord, I seek refuge from opposing a friend Of Yours or befriending Your enemy, or Calling truth false or falsehood truth Or saying disbelievers are more guided than Believers in path, O Allah, save me Safeguard my religion and help me obey You Guide me to Your pleasure, make me hold fast To Your rope, permitting Your lawful, forbidding Your unlawful, believing in You, relying on You Entrusting all affairs to You, I’ve entrusted My affairs to You, surrendered myself, sought

Transliteration

Ẓahrī falā takilnī ilā nafsī wa lā Ilā makhlūqin wa anta khalaqtanī wa lā tusalliṭ ‘Alayya man lā yarḥamunī wa lā taj‘alnī ‘Iẓatan li-ghayrī wa khir lī wa ikhtar lī Fī jamī‘i umūrī khīratan fī ‘āfiyatin Wa sahhil ‘alayya umūra dunyāya wa ākhiratī Ilāhī wa sayyidī ‘abduka wa ibnu ‘abdika Yas’aluka wa yataḍarra‘u ilayka as’aluka an Tuṣalliya ‘alā Muḥammadin wa āli Muḥammadin wa an Tu‘īnanī ‘alā jihādi nafsī wa tub ‘alayya Wa a‘ṣimnī fa-innī faqīrun ilayka fa-aghnī Faqrī Rabbi hab lī tawbatan naṣūḥan wa

Translation

Your support, don’t leave me to myself nor To any creature, You created me, don’t empower Over me one without mercy, nor make me A lesson for others, choose and select for me In all my affairs the best choice in well-being Ease my worldly and hereafter affairs My God and Master, Your servant and son Asks and implores You, I ask You to Bless Muhammad and his family and to Aid me in struggling against myself and accept my Repentance, protect me, I’m needy to You, enrich My poverty, O Lord, grant me sincere repentance

Transliteration

Niyyatan ṣādiqatan wa muktasaban ḥalālan wa ‘amalan Mutaqabbalan wa ajirnī mina al-jahli wa al-nāri Allāhumma innī as’aluka al-‘afwa wa al-‘āfiyata Allāhumma innī ataytuka hāriban min dhunūbī Tā’iban wa li-maghfiratika tāliban wa ilayka rāghiban Faṣalli ‘alā Muḥammadin wa āli Muḥammadin wa ighfir Lī wa irḥamnī wa a‘ṣimnī wa tub ‘alayya Innaka anta al-tawwābu al-raḥīmu wa ṣallā Allāhu ‘Alā rasūlihi sayyidinā Muḥammadin al-nabiyyi wa ālihi Wa sallama

Translation

And true intention, lawful earnings, and accepted deeds And save me from ignorance and the Fire O Allah, I ask You for pardon and well-being O Allah, I come fleeing from my sins Repentant, seeking Your forgiveness and desiring You Bless Muhammad and his family and forgive Me, have mercy, protect me, accept my repentance You are the Accepter, the Merciful, and Allah bless His Messenger, our master Muhammad the Prophet, his family And grant peace

Transliteration

ya ja`ila allayli walnnahari ayatayni ya man maha ayata allayli wa ja`ala ayata alnnahari mubsiratan litabtaghu fadlan minhu wa ridwanan ya mufassila kulli shay'in tafsilan ya majidu ya wahhabu ya allahu ya jawadu ya allahu ya allahu ya allahu laka al-asma'u alhusna wal-amthalu al`ulya walkibriya’u wal-ala'u as'aluka an tusalliya `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin

Translation

O Maker of night and daylight two portents! O He Who makes dark the portent of night and makes the portent of the daylight sight-giving so that you may seek favor and pleasure from Him! O He Who expounds everything with clear expounding! O All-glorious! O All-donor! O Allah! O All-magnanimous! O Allah! O Allah! O Allah! To You are the Most Excellent Names, the most elevated examples, greatness, and bounties. I beseech You to bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,

wa an taj`ala ismi fi hadhihi allaylati fi alssu`ada'i wa ruhi ma`a alshshuhada'i wa ihsani fi `illiyyina wa isa'ati maghfuratan wa an tahaba li yaqinan tubashiru bihi qalbi wa imanan yudhhibu alshshakka `anni wa turdiyani bima qasamta li wa atina fi alddunya hasanatan wa fi al-akhirati hasanatan wa qina `adhaba alnnari alhariqi warzuqni fiha dhikraka wa shukraka walrraghbata ilayka wal-inabata walttawfiqa lima waffaqta lahu muhammadan wa ala muhammadin `alayhi wa `alayhimu alssalamu

Translation

include my name with the list of the happiest ones, add my soul to the martyrs, record my good deeds in the most exalted rank, decide my offense to be forgiven, grant me certitude that fills in my heart and faith that removes doubt from me, make me feel satisfied with that which You decide for me, grant us reward in this world and reward in the Hereafter, save us from the torment of the burning Fire, and confer upon us at this night Your mentioning, thanking You, desiring for You, turning to You, and success to that to which You led Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad, peace be upon him and them.
