Dua and Amaal for 28th of the month of Ramadan

Transliteration

allahumma waffir hazzy fihi mina alnnawafili wa akrimny fihi biihdari almasa’ili wa qarrb fihi wa silaty ilayka min bayni alwasa’ili ya man la yashghaluhu ilhahu almulihhina

Translation

O Allah: on this day, decide for me a share of the supererogatory acts, And honor me by making me care for its matters, And make near my means to You from among the other means; O He Whom is not preoccupied by the earnest entreaty of the insisters.

Translation

“Glory be to God whom the praise of the best orators cannot describe and the grateful worshippers cannot thank for His Bounties. And what He says is more conclusive than what we say. Glory be to God as He praised Himself. „…Nor shall they compass aught of His knowledge except as He willeth. His Throne doth extend over the heavens and the earth, and He feeleth no fatigue in guarding and preserving them for He is the Most High, the Supreme (in glory).‟ Glory be to God, the Creator of the breath of life! Glory be to God, the Bestower of Forms! Glory be to God who created all the pairs, male and female! Glory be to God who fixed the darkness and light! Glory be to God who splits grains and seeds! Glory be to God, the Creator of all things! Glory be to God, the Creator of the seen and the unseen! Glory be to God to the Extent of His Words! Say three times- Glory be to God, the Lord of the worlds!”

Translation

“We believe in God. We denounce sorcery and evil! We believe in Him who shall not perish! We believe in Him who created the heavens, the earths, the sun, the moon, the stars, the mountains, the trees and the quadrupeds: He who created the genies and the men. „ We believe in the revelation which has come down to us and in that which came down to you; Our Allah and your Allah is one; and it is to Him we bow (in Islam). We believe in the Lord of Aaron and Moses. We believe in the Lord of the angels and the Spirit. We believe in God for whom there are no partners. We believe in Him who brings forth the Reckoning, created torture and punishment! We believe. We believe. We believe. We believe. We believe. We believe in God.‟” O Lord forgive us for the sake Muhammad and his progeny (saws) surely you are most gracious and merciful overlook our mistakes for surely you are most forgiving

Translation

O Allah, I ask You, O He who decreed, "My messengers and I will indeed prevail." Indeed, Allah is Strong, Mighty. O Allah, the Sovereign, the Holy, the Peace, the Believer, the Overseer, the Mighty, the Compeller, the Supreme. The Creator, the Maker, the Fashioner; to You belong the Best Names. Everything in the heavens and the earth glorifies You, and You are the Mighty, the Wise. O He who supported the believers over their enemies, so they became apparent. O He who sent among the unlettered a Messenger from themselves, reciting to them His verses, purifying them,

Translation

and teaching them the Book and wisdom. O Best of Providers, to Whom belongs the dominion and all praise, and He is over all things competent. O He who created death and life to test which of you is best in deed, and He is the Mighty, the Forgiving. O Allah, I ask You, by what I have appealed to You with on this day and in this month, which You have magnified, honored, and dignified, to send blessings on Muhammad and his pure, good household among Your creation. And to accept me despite what I have done, for You know my need.

Translation

Grant me my request and desire, for You are aware of what is in my soul. Forgive me my sins, fulfill all my needs, and rectify my affairs. Grant me the best of this world and the hereafter, and free my neck from the Fire. Bestow upon me Your pleasure and Paradise, for that is easy for You, and You are capable of everything, and I am in need of You. And may Allah send blessings upon our master Muhammad, the Prophet, and his family, and grant peace.

Transliteration

Yā khāzina al-layli fī al-hawā'i wa khāzina an-nūri fī as-samā'i Wa māni'a as-samā'i an taqa'a 'alā al-arḍi illā bi-idhnihi wa ḥārisahumā an tazūlā Yā ghafūru yā raḥīmu yā rabbāh yā Allāhu yā bā'ithu yā Allāhu yā muṣawwiru Wa anta yā Allāhu yā Allāhu yā Allāhu laka al-asmā'u al-ḥusnā wa al-amthālu al-'ulyā wa al-kibriyā'u wa al-ālā'u As'aluka an tuṣalliya 'alā Muḥammadin wa āli Muḥammadin wa an taghfira lī khaṭī'atī wa jahli wa ẓulmī wa isrāfī 'alā nafsī wa mā anta a'lamu bihi minnī Allāhumma innī as'aluka an taghfira lī khaṭī'atī wa mā qaddamtu wa mā akhkhartu wa mā a'lanatu wa mā asrartu Allāhumma 'āfinī wa a'fu 'annī wa saddidnī wa ihdinī wa qinī shuḥḥa nafsī Wa bārik lī fī mā razaqtanī wa a'innī 'alā mā kallaf-tanī wa qinī 'adhāba an-nāri Allāhumma innī a'ūdhu bika mina al-fakhr wa al-kibri wa a'ūdhu bika an uradda ilā ardhali al-'umuri Wa a'ūdhu bika min fitnati ad-dunyā wa al-ākhirati wa 'adhābi an-nāri Allāhumma innī a'ūdhu bika min ṭama'in yahdī ilā ṭama'in wa min ṭama'in ḥīna lā ṭama'a wa a'ūdhu bika An as'ala ghayraka wa aṭluba min siwāka wa atawakkala illā 'alayka

Translation

O Keeper of the night in the air and Keeper of the light in the sky And Preventer of the sky from falling on the earth except by His permission, and Guardian of both so they do not deviate O Forgiver, O Merciful, O Lord, O Allah, O Resurrector, O Allah, O Fashioner And You, O Allah, O Allah, O Allah, to You belong the most beautiful names, the highest examples, the greatness, and the blessings I ask You to send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, and to forgive my sin, ignorance, oppression, and excess against myself, and what You know better than me O Allah, I ask You to forgive my sin, what I have done in the past, what I have delayed, what I have made public, and what I have kept secret O Allah, grant me well-being, pardon me, guide me aright, direct me, and protect me from the stinginess of my soul And bless me in what You have provided for me, aid me in what You have entrusted me with, and protect me from the punishment of the Fire O Allah, I seek refuge with You from pride and arrogance, and I seek refuge with You from being returned to the most abased of ages And I seek refuge with You from the trials of this world and the Hereafter, and from the punishment of the Fire O Allah, I seek refuge with You from desire that leads to more desire, and from desire when there should be none, and I seek refuge with You That I ask anyone other than You, seek from anyone other than You, or rely on anyone other than You

Transliteration

Allāhumma ṣalli 'alā Muḥammadin wa āli Muḥammadin wa jannibnī munkarāti al-ahwā'i wa mubtada'āti al-a'māli wa mu'ḍalāti al-adwā'i Allāhumma innī a'ūdhu bika mina al-hammi wa al-ḥuzni wa al-kasali wa ghalabati ad-dayni wa ghalabati banī Ādam Wa a'ūdhu bika min fitnati al-maḥyā wa al-mamāti wa a'ūdhu bika min jāri as-sū'i wa qarīni as-sū'i fī dāri ad-dunyā wa al-ākhirati Allāhumma innī a'ūdhu bika mina al-qaswati wa al-ghaflati wa al-'aylati wa adh-dhillati wa al-maskanati Wa a'ūdhu bika mina al-kufr wa al-faqr wa min waswasi aṣ-ṣudūri wa tashtīti al-umūri Wa a'ūdhu bika mina ar-riyā'i wa as-sum'ati wa min taḥwīli al-'āfiyati wa min jahdi al-balā'i Allāhumma ighfir lī dhanbī wa adhhib ghayẓa qalbī wa ghilla ṣadrī wa ajirnī mina ash-shayṭāni ar-rajīmi Allāhumma bika aḥyā wa bika amūtu wa ilayka an-nushūru wa anta 'alā kulli shay'in qadīrun Allāhumma innī as'aluka yā jawādu yā qarību yā mujību yā 'azīzu yā jabābaru yā mutakabbiru yā qādiru yā muqtadiru Wa as'aluka an tuṣalliya 'alā Muḥammadin wa āli Muḥammadin wa an tarzuqnī rizqan ḥalālan ṭayyiban min sa'ati faḍlika tazīdunī bi-dhālika shukran Wa ilayka fāqatan wa faqrā wa bika 'amman siwāka ghinā wa ta'afufan Allāhumma yassir lī mā akhāfu 'usrahū wa sahḥil lī mā akhāfu ḥuzūnatahū wa farrij 'annī mā akhāfu ḍīqahū wa naffis 'annī mā akhāfu ghammahū wa akshif 'annī mā akhāfu karbahū

Translation

O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, and protect me from the reprehensible desires, the innovations of actions, and the distressing diseases O Allah, I seek refuge with You from worry, sorrow, laziness, the burden of debt, and the domination of people And I seek refuge with You from the trials of life and death, and I seek refuge with You from a bad neighbor and a bad companion in this world and the Hereafter O Allah, I seek refuge with You from hardness of heart, heedlessness, poverty, humiliation, and destitution And I seek refuge with You from disbelief, poverty, and from the whisperings of the hearts and the scattering of affairs And I seek refuge with You from hypocrisy, seeking fame, and from the removal of well-being, and from the severity of affliction O Allah, forgive my sin, remove the anger from my heart, and the rancor from my breast, and protect me from the accursed Satan O Allah, by You I live, by You I die, and to You is the resurrection, and You are capable of everything O Allah, I ask You, O Generous, O Near, O Answerer, O Mighty, O Compeller, O Supreme, O Capable, O Powerful And I ask You to send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, and to provide for me a lawful and pure sustenance from the abundance of Your favor, increasing my gratitude for it And to You I turn in poverty and need, and with You I am rich and self-sufficient compared to anyone else O Allah, make easy for me what I fear is difficult, facilitate for me what I fear is distressing, relieve me from what I fear is constricting, comfort me from what I fear is sorrowful, and lift from me what I fear is burdensome

Transliteration

Yā mufarrij al-karbi al-'aẓīmi farrij karbī wa karba kulli makrūbin mina al-muslimīna wa taqabbal minnī sa'ī wa zakki 'amalī wa lā taruddanī khā'iban wa lā maqbūḥan Yā arḥama ar-rāḥimīna ilāhī wa sayyidī iyāka qaṣadtu bidu'ā'ī wa iyāka rajawtu limas'alatī Wa bika ṭalabtu lifāqatī wa ilayka qaṣadtu liḥājatī fa-as'aluka bijāhi Muḥammadin wa āli Muḥammadin an tuḥaqqiqa rajā'ī fī mā basaṭtu min amalī Wa lā taqṭa' rajā'ī bisū'i 'amalī wa lā tu'ākhidhnī bi-qabīḥi fi'li wa lā taruddanī khā'iban lifasādi niyyatī wa ta'aṭṭaf 'alayya bijūdika wa karamika Wa aṣliḥ minnī mā kāna fāsidan wa taqabbal minnī mā kāna ṣāliḥan wa shaffi' lī [fīya] Muḥammadan wa āla Muḥammadin Wa istajib du'ā'ī wa irḥam taḍarru'ī wa shakwāya wa iqḍi lī jamī'a ḥawā'ijī Wa a'tiqnī mina an-nāri wa adkhilnī al-jannata bijūdika wa karamika wa mannika wa faḍlika yā arḥama ar-rāḥimīna Fa'innaka taf'alu mā tashā'u wa taḥkumu mā turīdu Wa ṣallā Allāhu 'alā rasūlihi [sayyidinā] Muḥammadin an-nabīyi wa ālihi wa sallama taslīman

Translation

O Reliever of great distress, relieve my distress and the distress of every afflicted Muslim, accept my effort, purify my deeds, and do not return me disappointed or rejected O Most Merciful of the merciful, my God and my Master, I have directed my supplication to You, and I have hoped in You for my request And I have sought with You for my need, and I have directed myself to You for my necessity. So I ask You by the status of Muhammad and the family of Muhammad to fulfill my hope in what I have extended of my aspirations And do not cut off my hope due to the evil of my deeds, and do not hold me accountable for the ugliness of my actions, and do not return me disappointed due to the corruption of my intention. Show compassion to me with Your generosity and nobility And correct in me what is corrupt, and accept from me what is good, and intercede for me through Muhammad and the family of Muhammad And answer my supplication, have mercy on my humility and my complaint, and fulfill all my needs And free me from the Fire, and admit me into Paradise by Your generosity, nobility, bounty, and favor, O Most Merciful of the merciful For You do what You will and judge what You wish And may Allah bless His Messenger, our Master Muhammad the Prophet, and his family, and grant them peace completely.

Transliteration

ya khazina allayli fi alhawa'i wa khazina alnnuri fi alssama'i wa mani`a alssama'i an taqa`a `ala al-ardi illa bi'idhnihi wa habisahuma an tazula ya `alimu ya `a¨imu ya ghafuru ya da'imu ya allahu ya warithu ya ba`itha man fi alquburi ya allahu ya allahu ya allahu laka al-asma'u alhusna wal-amthalu al`ulya walkibriya’u wal-ala'u

Translation

O He Who commits the night to the custody of the atmosphere, stores light in the heavens, prevents the heavens from falling on the earth except by His permission, and prevents them from vanishing! O All-knowing! O All-great! O All-forgiving! O Everlasting! O Allah! O Inheritor (of all things)! O Resurrector of those in graves! O Allah! O Allah! O Allah! To You are the Most Excellent Names, the most elevated examples, greatness, and bounties.

Transliteration

as'aluka an tusalliya `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin wa an taj`ala ismi fi hadhihi allaylati fi alssu`ada'i wa ruhi ma`a alshshuhada'i wa ihsani fi `illiyyina wa isa'ati maghfuratan wa an tahaba li yaqinan tubashiru bihi qalbi wa imanan yudhhibu alshshakka `anni wa turdiyani bima qasamta li wa atina fi alddunya hasanatan wa fi al-akhirati hasanatan wa qina `adhaba alnnari alhariqi warzuqni fiha dhikraka wa shukraka walrraghbata ilayka

Translation

I beseech You to bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad, include my name with the list of the happiest ones, add my soul to the martyrs, record my good deeds in the most exalted rank, decide my offense to be forgiven, grant me certitude that fills in my heart and faith that removes doubt from me, make me feel satisfied with that which You decide for me, grant us reward in this world and reward in the Hereafter, save us from the torment of the burning Fire, and confer upon us at this night Your mentioning, thanking You, desiring for You,

Transliteration

wal-inabata walttawfiqa lima waffaqta lahu muhammadan wa ala muhammadin `alayhi wa `alayhimu alssalamu

Translation

turning to You, and success to that to which You led Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad, peace be upon him and them.
