Dua and Amaal for 29th of the month of Ramadan

Transliteration

allahumma ghashshiny fihi bilrrhmati warzuqny fihi alttawfiqa wal-`ismata wa tahhr qalby min ghayahibi altthamati ya rahiman bi`ibadihi almu´minina

Translation

O Allah: on this day, (please) spread out mercy over me, And provide me with success and protection (against sinning), And cleanse my heart from the murk of dubiosity; O He Who is merciful to His faithful servants.

Translation

“Glory be to God who knows all that enters the earth and all that emerges therefrom and all that comes down from the sky and all that ascends therein. What enters the earth and what emerges therefrom do not divert His Attention from what comes down from the sky and what ascends therein; and what comes down from the sky and what ascends therein do not divert His Attention from what enters the earth and what emerges therefrom. Awareness of one thing does not divert his attention from the awareness of another thing. Creation of one thing does not divert His Attention from the creation of another thing. Watching over one thing does not divert His Attention from watching over another thing. Nothing is comparable to Him, nor is there anything to rival Him. There is nothing like unto Him, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing. Glory be to God, the Creator of the breath of life! Glory be to God, the Bestower of Forms! Glory be to God who created all the pairs, male and female! Glory be to God who fixed the darkness and light! Glory be to God who splits grains and seeds! Glory be to God, the Creator of all things! Glory be to God, the Creator of the seen and the unseen! Glory be to God to the Extent of His Words! Glory be to God – Lord of the worlds.‟

Translation

“I have placed my trust in the Master whom no one can overpower! I have placed my trust in the Irresistible whom no one can overcome. I have placed my trust in the Exalted in Might the Merciful who sees me amongst those who prostrate while I stand up and go down. I have placed my trust in the Everlasting and shall not perish! I have placed my trust in Him who controls all the affairs of the people. I have placed my trust in the Forebearing who does not rush! I have placed my trust in the Just one who shall never oppress! I have placed my trust in the Eternal, Absolute – the One who „begetteth not, nor is He begotten; And there is none like unto Him!‟ I have placed my trust in the Powerful, the Subduer, the Sublime, the Absolute! I have placed my trust in You. I have placed my trust in You. I have placed my trust in You. I have placed my trust in You. I have placed my trust in You. I have placed my trust in You. I have placed my trust in You.‟ ” We ask you our lord to send blessings on Muhammad & his progeny and have mercy on us & favour us on the day of judgement

Translation

You are severest of punishers,best forgiver & most merciful

Translation

O Allah, indeed I ask You, O He who is the most knowledgeable of those who are guided, and I ask You, O He who created seven heavens in layers, and made the moon therein a light and the sun a lamp, O He who finds no equivalent, O He who encompasses everything He has and has counted everything in number, O the one of piety and O the one of forgiveness, O He who is capable of giving life to the dead. O He who has prepared for the disbelievers chains and shackles and a blazing fire, O the sender of the winds, the storms, the spreaders, the distinguishers, and the reminders, O He who created the earth for the living and the dead,

Translation

and made therein lofty mountains, and watered His servants with sweet water, I ask You by Your name, You are Allah, the First and the Last, the Manifest and the Hidden, and You know everything, and by what Your righteous servants have asked of You, to grant me the ability to do good deeds and righteous work, and to avoid indecencies and what You do not approve of, O He who is not impeded by anything He wishes, and O He who is not overwhelmed by forgiving great sins, O He who excuses those who slip, forgives the sinners, bestows favor upon the wrongdoers, and opens the door of repentance to the sinners,

Translation

have mercy on me for You are the most merciful of those who show mercy, and liberate me this day from the Fire, Indeed, You are capable of all things, and may Allah's blessings be upon our master Muhammad the Prophet and his pure family.

Transliteration

Yā mukawwira al-layli 'alā an-nahāri wa mukawwira an-nahāri 'alā al-layli Yā 'ālimu yā khabīru yā rabba al-arbābi yā sayyida as-sādāti Yā lā ilāha illā anta waḥdaka lā sharīka laka Yā man huwa aqrabu ilayya min ḥabli al-warīdi Yā Allāhu yā Allāhu yā Allāhu laka al-asmā'u al-ḥusnā Wa al-amthālu al-'ulyā wa al-kibriyā'u wa al-ālā'u As'aluka an tuṣalliya 'alā Muḥammadin wa āli Muḥammadin Wa an tunzila 'alaynā mina as-samā'i raḥmataka Wa an taqbala ṣawmanā wa ṣalātanā wa qiyāmanā wa 'ibādatanā wa shukranā Wa ij'alnā li'an'umika mina ash-shākirīna Allāhumma taqabbal minnā kamā taqabbalta mina al-muttaqīna Wa ighfir lanā kamā ghafarta lil-mu'minīna

Translation

O You who wraps the night over the day and wraps the day over the night O All-Knowing, O All-Aware, O Lord of lords, O Master of masters O There is no god but You alone, You have no partner O You who are closer to me than my jugular vein O Allah, O Allah, O Allah, to You belong the most beautiful names And the highest examples, and the greatness, and the blessings I ask You to send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad And to send down upon us from the sky Your mercy And to accept our fasting, our prayer, our standing, our worship, and our gratitude And make us among those who are grateful for Your blessings O Allah, accept from us as You accepted from the righteous And forgive us as You forgave the believers

Transliteration

Wa irḥamnā kamā raḥimta al-muḥsinīna Wa akhrijnā mina aẓ-ẓulumāti ilā an-nūri Yā mani al-'asīru 'alayhi yasīrun yassir lanā qaḍā'a ḥawā'ijinā Wa istajib lanā du'ā'anā yā mujība da'wati al-muḍṭarrīna Wa a'ṭinā mā sa'alnāka yā mu'ṭiya as-sā'ilīna Wa irzuqnā yā khayra ar-rāziqīna Fa'innaka tarzuqu man tashā'u bighayri ḥisābin Allāhumma innī as'aluka khawfa al-'ālimīna wa khushū'a al-'ābidīna Wa 'ibādata al-mukhlisīna wa ikhlāṣa al-khāshi'īna wa yaqīna al-mutawakkilīna Wa tawakkula al-fā'izīna wa fawza al-mukramīna wa tafakkura adh-dhākirīna Wa dhikra al-mukhbitīna wa ikhbāta al-mustaqīmīna wa istiqāmata al-muhtadīna Wa hudā al-muslimīna wa islāma al-mu'minīna

Translation

And have mercy on us as You had mercy on the good-doers And bring us out from darkness into light O You for whom the difficult is easy, make easy for us the fulfillment of our needs And answer our supplication, O Answerer of the call of the distressed And give us what we have asked You, O Giver to those who ask And provide for us, O Best of providers For You provide for whom You will without account O Allah, I ask You for the fear of the knowledgeable and the humility of the worshippers And the worship of the sincere, and the sincerity of the humble, and the certainty of those who rely And the reliance of the successful, and the success of the honored, and the contemplation of those who remember And the remembrance of the humble, and the humility of the upright, and the uprightness of the guided And the guidance of the Muslims, and the submission of the believers

Transliteration

Wa ij'al dhālika khāliṣan biraḥmatika yā arḥama ar-rāḥimīna Yā rabba al-khayri kullihi biyadika al-khayru kulluhu wa 'indaka Wa khāba man kāna du'ā'uhu lighayrika Wa kullu khayrin nīla aw uṣība famin khayri faḍlika Ilāhī wa sayyidī fa'a'ṭinī min faḍlika wa sa'ati raḥmatika Ghufrāna khaṭī'atī wa satra 'awratī wa iqālata 'athratī Wa taḥqīqa rajā'ī wa bulūgha amalī fa'innaka thiqatī wa 'uddatī Wa anta ḥasbī wa kafā wa ni'ma al-wakīlu Wa lā ḥawla wa lā quwwata illā billāhi al-'aliyyi al-'aẓīmi Subḥānaka lā ilāha illā anta innī kuntu mina aẓ-ẓālimīna Allāhumma innī astawdi'uka nafsī wa dīnī wa mālī wa waladī wa kulla ḍay'atin hiya lī Wa ikhwānī fīka mina al-mu'minīna

Translation

And make that sincere by Your mercy, O Most Merciful of the merciful O Lord of all good, in Your hand is all good, and with You And disappointed is the one whose supplication is to other than You And every good attained or reached is from the goodness of Your favor My God and my Master, so give me from Your favor and the vastness of Your mercy Forgiveness of my sin, and covering of my faults, and overlooking of my stumble And realization of my hope, and attainment of my aspiration, for You are my trust and my provision And You are sufficient for me, and how excellent a guardian And there is no might nor power except with Allah, the High, the Great Glory be to You, there is no god but You, indeed I have been among the wrongdoers O Allah, I entrust to You my soul, my religion, my wealth, my children, and all my possessions And my brothers in faith among the believers

Transliteration

Wa astaḥfiẓuka dhālika kullahu fa'innahu lā yaḍī'u ḍay'atun 'alayya wa anta ḥāfiẓun Bal anta khayrun ḥāfiẓan wa anta arḥamu ar-rāḥimīna wa kafā bika ṣāḥiban Allāhumma adhkur-nī wa jamī'a al-mu'minīna wa al-mu'mināti wa al-muslimīna wa al-muslimāti fī al-mala' al-a'lā bi-khayrin Wa awjib lī wa lahum min raḥmatika afḍala mā awjabta li-ahadin min 'ibādika aṣ-ṣāliḥīna Allāhumma ighfir lī wa liwālidayya wa irḥamhumā kamā rabbayānī ṣaghīran wa ajzihimā 'annī khayran Wa alḥiqnī biṣ-ṣāliḥīna wa 'arrif baynī wa baynahum fī mustaqarri raḥmatika yā arḥama ar-rāḥimīna Allāhumma iftaḥ lanā bi-khayrin wa ikhtim lanā bi-khayrin wa ij'alnā min ahli al-khayri Allāhumma bi-'ilmika al-ghayba wa qudratika 'alā al-khayri aḥyinī mā 'alimta al-ḥayāta khayran lī Allāhumma innī as'aluka khashyataka fī al-ghaybi wa ash-shahādati wa kalimata al-'adli fī ar-riḍā wa al-ghaḍabi Wa as'aluka qurrata 'aynin lā yanqaṭi'u wa a'ūdhu bika min ḍarrā'a aw maḍarratin aw fitnatin muḍillatin Wa a'ūdhu bika min khizyika wa kashfi sitrika wa nisyāni dhikrika Allāhumma innī fī kanafika wa ḥifẓika wa ḥirzika fī laylī wa nahārī wa nawmī wa qarārī wa ẓa'ni wa asfārī

Translation

And I ask You to protect all of that, for nothing is lost with You, and You are a protector Indeed, You are the best protector, and You are the Most Merciful of the merciful, and You are sufficient as a companion O Allah, remember me and all the believing men and women, and the Muslim men and women in the highest assembly with good And grant me and them the best of what You have granted to any of Your righteous servants from Your mercy O Allah, forgive me and my parents, and have mercy on them as they raised me when I was small, and reward them with good on my behalf And join me with the righteous, and acquaint me with them in the abode of Your mercy, O Most Merciful of the merciful O Allah, begin for us with good and conclude for us with good, and make us among the people of good O Allah, with Your knowledge of the unseen and Your power over good, keep me alive as long as You know life is better for me O Allah, I ask You for fear of You in secret and in public, and for the word of justice in satisfaction and anger And I ask You for a delight of the eye that never ends, and I seek refuge with You from any harm or affliction or misleading trial And I seek refuge with You from Your humiliation, and the removal of Your protection, and forgetting Your remembrance O Allah, I am in Your care, Your protection, and Your safeguard in my night and day, my sleep and my wakefulness, my rest and my travel

Transliteration

Dhikruka shi'ārī wa du'ā'uka dithārī Lā ilāha illā anta tanzīhan li-wajhika al-'aẓīmi ajirnī min 'adhābika al-alīmi wa min sharri a'dā'ika Wa aḍif 'alayya surādiqāti ḥifẓika Subḥānaka yā dhā al-jalāli wa al-ikrāmi bika āmantu wa 'alayka tawakkaltu wa ilayka ḥākamtu wa anta ḥasbī wa kafā wa ni'ma al-wakīlu Wa lā ḥawla wa lā quwwata illā billāhi al-'aliyyi al-'aẓīmi Wa ṣallā Allāhu 'alā rasūlihi sayyidinā Muḥammadin an-nabīyi wa ālihi wa sallama

Translation

Your remembrance is my banner, and Your supplication is my shield There is no god but You, glorifying Your great face, protect me from Your painful punishment and from the evil of Your enemies And extend over me the tents of Your protection Glory be to You, O Possessor of majesty and honor. I have believed in You, relied on You, and referred to You for judgment. You are sufficient for me, and how excellent a guardian And there is no might nor power except with Allah, the High, the Great And may Allah bless His Messenger, our Master Muhammad the Prophet, and his family, and grant them peace.

Transliteration

ya khazina allayli fi alhawa'i wa khazina alnnuri fi alssama'i wa mani`a alssama'i an taqa`a `ala al-ardi illa bi'idhnihi wa habisahuma an tazula ya `alimu ya `a¨imu ya ghafuru ya da'imu ya allahu ya warithu ya ba`itha man fi alquburi ya allahu ya allahu ya allahu laka al-asma'u alhusna wal-amthalu al`ulya walkibriya’u wal-ala'u

Translation

O He Who commits the night to the custody of the atmosphere, stores light in the heavens, prevents the heavens from falling on the earth except by His permission, and prevents them from vanishing! O All-knowing! O All-great! O All-forgiving! O Everlasting! O Allah! O Inheritor (of all things)! O Resurrector of those in graves! O Allah! O Allah! O Allah! To You are the Most Excellent Names, the most elevated examples, greatness, and bounties.

Transliteration

as'aluka an tusalliya `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin wa an taj`ala ismi fi hadhihi allaylati fi alssu`ada'i wa ruhi ma`a alshshuhada'i wa ihsani fi `illiyyina wa isa'ati maghfuratan wa an tahaba li yaqinan tubashiru bihi qalbi wa imanan yudhhibu alshshakka `anni wa turdiyani bima qasamta li wa atina fi alddunya hasanatan wa fi al-akhirati hasanatan wa qina `adhaba alnnari alhariqi warzuqni fiha dhikraka wa shukraka walrraghbata ilayka

Translation

I beseech You to bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad, include my name with the list of the happiest ones, add my soul to the martyrs, record my good deeds in the most exalted rank, decide my offense to be forgiven, grant me certitude that fills in my heart and faith that removes doubt from me, make me feel satisfied with that which You decide for me, grant us reward in this world and reward in the Hereafter, save us from the torment of the burning Fire, and confer upon us at this night Your mentioning, thanking You, desiring for You,

Transliteration

wal-inabata walttawfiqa lima waffaqta lahu muhammadan wa ala muhammadin `alayhi wa `alayhimu alssalamu

Translation

turning to You, and success to that to which You led Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad, peace be upon him and them.
