Duas for every night of Ramadan

Transliteration

allahumma rabba shahri ramadana alladhi anzalta fihi alqur'ana waftaradta `ala `ibadika fihi alssiyama salli `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin warzuqni hajja baytika alharami fi hadha al`ami wa fi kulli `amin waghfir li tilka aldhdhnuba al`izama fa'innahu la yaghfiruha ghayruka ya rahmanu ya `allamu

Translation

O Allah, the Lord of the month of Ramadan in which You have revealed the Qur'an and made obligatory fasting in this month upon Your servants! Please, send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad and provide me with the opportunity to go to Your ‘Sacred House’ for pilgrimage in this year and in all years. Forgive my overbearing sins, for verily no one other than You can forgive them. O All-beneficent! O All-knowing!

Transliteration

allahumma inni as'aluka an taj`ala fima taqdi wa tuqaddiru min al-amri almahtumi fi al-amri alhakimi min alqada'i alladhi la yuraddu wa la yubaddalu an taktubani min hujjaji baytika alharami almabruri hajjuhum almashkuri sa`yuhum almaghfuri dhunubuhum almukaffari `an sayyi'atihim wa an taj`ala fima taqdi wa tuqaddiru an tutila `umri fi khayrin wa `afiyatin wa tuwassi`a fi rizqi wa taj`alani mimman tantasiru bihi lidinika

Translation

O Allah :I beseech You that You, while taking decisions and rendering possible things and events decisively (decisions which can not be changed or bypassed), write my name in the list of those pilgrims of Your Holy House whose pilgrimage receives Your approval, whose efforts are appreciated, whose sins are forgiven, whose wrongdoings are overlooked; that You, while making decisions and rendering possible things and events; make possible for me long life, goodness, welfare, and enough means of livelihood, and let me be like him whom You helps with Your Religion;

Transliteration

wa la tastabdil bi ghayri

Translation

not substituting any other in my place.

Transliteration

allahumma birahmatika fi alssalihina fa adkhilna wa fi `illiyyina farfa`na wa bika'sin min ma`inin min `aynin salsabilin fasqina wa min alhuri al`ini birahmatika fazawwijna wa min alwildani almukhalldina ka'annahum lu'lu'un maknunun fa'akhdimna wa min thimari aljannati wa luhumi alttayri fa'at`imna wa min thiyabi alssundusi walhariri wal-istabraqi fa'albisna wa laylata alqadri wa hajji baytika alharami wa qatlan fi sabilika fawaffiq lana

Translation

O Allah, (please do) include us with the righteous ones, out of Your mercy, uplift us to the rank of `illiyyin (most elevated rank), serve us with water running out of spring of Salsabil, out of Your mercy, give us as wives the Paradisiacal women, make the Paradisiacal youths who never alter in age and who are like hidden pearls serve us, give us food from the fruits of Paradise and from the meat of birds there, dress us from the clothes of fine and thick silk and rich brocade, give us success to catch the Grand Night, lead us to pilgrimage to Your Holy House and martyrdom in Your way,

Transliteration

wa saliha alddu`a'i walmas'alati fastajib lana wa idha jama`ta al-awwalina wal-akhirina yawma alqiyamati farhamna wa bara'atan min alnnari faktub lana wa fi jahannama fala taghullana wa fi `adhabika wa hawanika fala tabtalina wa min alzzuqqumi walddari`i fala tut`imna wa ma`a alshshayatini fala taj`alna wa fi alnnari `ala wujuhina fala takbubna wa min thiyabi alnnari wa sarabili alqatirani fala tulbisna wa min kulli su'in ya la ilaha illa anta bihaqqi la ilaha illa anta fanajjina

Translation

and respond to our goodly prayer and supplication. When You shall gather the past and the coming generations on the Resurrection Day, (please) have mercy upon us. (Please) release us from Hellfire. Do not fetter us in Hell, do not try us through Your chastisement and humiliations, do not feed us from zaqqum and thorns, do not add us to the devils, do not throw us down on our faces in Hellfire, do not dress us from the clothes of fire and the shirts of tar, and save us from all evils; O He save Whom there is no god! I beseech You in the name of there is no god save You.

Transliteration

a`udhu bijalali wajhika alkarimi an yanqadiya `anni shahru ramadana aw yatlu`a alfajru min laylati hadhihi wa laka qibali tabi`atun aw dhanbun tu`adhdhibuni `alayhi

Translation

I seek refuge with the majesty of Your Honorable Face, Against that the month of Ramadan elapses Or dawn breaks this night, And there is still a sin or an offense in my record for which You may chastise me.

Transliteration

ilahi waqafa alssa'iluna bibabika wa ladha alfuqara'u bijanabika wa waqafat safinatu almasakini `ala sahili bahri judika wa karamika yarjuna aljawaza ila sahati rahmatika wa ni`matika ilahi in kunta la tarhamu fi hadha alshshahri alshsharifi illa man akhlasa laka fi siyamihi wa qiyamihi faman lilmudhnibi almuqassiri idha ghariqa fi bahri dhunubihi wa athamihi ilahi in kunta la tarhamu illa almuti`ina faman lil`asina wa in kunta la taqbalu illa min al`amilina faman lilmuqassirina

Translation

O my God, the beseechers have stood at Your Door, the poor have resorted to Your refuge, and the ship of the needy have cast anchor near the coast of the sea of Your Magnanimity and Generosity, hoping for permission to enter the yard of Your Mercy and Favor. O my God, If You, in this holy month, will have mercy upon none but those who sincerely observe fasting and do acts of worship to You, who will then stand for the sinful and the negligent then they sink in the ocean of their sins and offenses? O my God, if you have mercy upon non but the obedient to You, who will then stand for the disobedient? If You accept none but those who do acts of worship to You, who will then stand for the negligent?

Transliteration

Ilahi rabiha alssa'imuna wa faza alqa'imuna wa naja almukhlisuna wa nahnu `abiduka almudhnibuna farhamna birahmatika wa a`tiqna min alnnari bi`afwika waghfir lana dhunubana birahmatika ya arhama alrrahimina

Translation

O my God, the observers of fasting have won, the doers of acts of worship to You have prospered, and those who act sincerely have been saved. But we, Your sinful servants, beseech Your mercy; so, (please do) have mercy upon us, release us from the chastisement of Hellfire, out of Your pardon, and forgive our sins, in the name of Your mercy. O most Merciful of all those who show mercy!
