Dua for Laylat ul Qadr - short duas

Transliteration

Allahumma inni amsaytu laka ‘abdan dakhira La amliku linafsi naf’an wa la darra Wa la asrifu ‘anha su’a Ash-hadu bi dhalika ‘ala nafsi Wa a’tarifu laka bi-da’fi quwwati wa qillati hilati Fa salli ‘ala Muhammadin wa ali Muhammad Wa anjiz li ma wa’adtani Wa jami’al mu’minina wal mu’minat minal maghfirata fi hadhihil laylah Wa atmim ‘alayya ma ataytani Fa inni ‘abdukal miskinul mustakin ad-da’iful faqirul mahin Allahumma la taj’alni nasiyan li-dhikrika fima awlaytani Wa la li-ihsanika fima a’taytani

Translation

O Allah, I have entered the evening as Your lowly servant. I possess for myself neither benefit nor harm. Nor can I avert any evil from myself. I bear witness to this against myself. I confess to You my weak strength and lack of resources. So bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad. And fulfill for me what You have promised me. And for all the believers, the forgiveness promised on this night. And complete for me what You have granted me. For I am Your servant: destitute, humble, weak, poor, and lowly. O Allah, do not let me forget Your remembrance in what You gave me. Nor Your kindness in what You bestowed upon me.

Transliteration

Wa la ayisan min ijabatika wa in abta’at ‘anni Fi sarra’a aw darra’a aw shiddata aw rakha’a Aw ‘afiyatin aw bala’in aw bu’sin aw na’ma’a Innaka sami’ud du’a

Translation

Nor let me despair of Your response, even if it is delayed. In ease or hardship, in adversity or prosperity. In well-being or affliction, in misery or blessing. Indeed, You are the Hearer of prayer.

Transliteration

ya dha alladhi kana qabla kulli shay'in thumma khalaqa kulla shay'in thumma yabqa wa yafna kullu shay'in ya dha alladhi laysa kamithlihi shay'un wa ya dha alladhi laysa fi alssamawati al`ula wa la fi al-aradina alssufla wa la fawqahunna wa la tahtahunna wa la baynahunna ilahun yu`badu ghayruhu laka alhamdu hamdan la yaqwa `ala ihsa'ihi illa anta fasalli `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin salatan la yaqwa `ala ihsa'iha illa anta

Translation

O He Who has existed before all things, then created all things, and then stays while all things vanish! O He Whose like is not found at all! O He neither in the highest heavens nor in the lowest layers of the earth, nor above them, nor beneath them, nor there is between them any god that is worshipped save Him. To You be the praise that none can count save You. So, please bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad with blessings that none can count save You.

Transliteration

allahumma inni as'aluka an taj`ala fima taqdi wa tuqaddiru min al-amri almahtumi fi al-amri alhakimi min alqada'i alladhi la yuraddu wa la yubaddalu an taktubani min hujjaji baytika alharami almabruri hajjuhum almashkuri sa`yuhum almaghfuri dhunubuhum almukaffari `an sayyi'atihim wa an taj`ala fima taqdi wa tuqaddiru an tutila `umri fi khayrin wa `afiyatin wa tuwassi`a fi rizqi wa taj`alani mimman tantasiru bihi lidinika

Translation

O Allah :I beseech You that You, while taking decisions and rendering possible things and events decisively (decisions which can not be changed or bypassed), write my name in the list of those pilgrims of Your Holy House whose pilgrimage receives Your approval, whose efforts are appreciated, whose sins are forgiven, whose wrongdoings are overlooked; that You, while making decisions and rendering possible things and events; make possible for me long life, goodness, welfare, and enough means of livelihood, and let me be like him whom You helps with Your Religion;

Transliteration

wa la tastabdil bi ghayri

Translation

not substituting any other in my place.

Transliteration

Allahumma Kum le-waliyyekal Hujjatibnil Hassan Salwaatoka A'layhe wa a'laa Aaabaa-Ehi fee haazehis saa-a'te wa fee kulle saa-a'tin waliyyawn wa haafezawn wa qaa-edawn wa naaserawn wa daleelawn wa a'ynan hattaa tuskenahu arzaka taw-a'n wa tomatte-a'hu feehaa taweelaa.

Translation

O Allah, be, for Your representative, the Hujjat (proof), son of Al­Hassan, Your blessings be on him and his forefathers, in this hour and in every hour, a guardian, a protector, a leader, a helper, a proof, and an eye. until You make him live on the earth, in obedience (to You), & Cause him to live in it for a long time
