allaahumma bi-'ilmikal-ghayb wa qudratika 'alal-khalq ahyinee maa 'alimtal-hayaata khayran lee wa tawaffanee idhaa kaanatil-wafaatu khayran lee allaahumma innee as-aluka kalimatal-ikhlaas wa khashyataka fir-ridaa wal-ghadab wal-qasda fil-ghinaa wal-faqr wa as-aluka na'eeman laa yanfad wa as-aluka qurrata 'aynin laa tanqati' wa as-alukar-ridaa bil-qadaa' wa as-aluka bardal-'ayshi ba'dal-mawt wa as-alukan-nazara ilaa wajhik
Translation
O Allah, by Your knowledge of the unseen and Your power over creation, grant me life so long as You know life is good for me, and take my soul when death is good for me. O Allah, I ask You for the word of sincerity, fear of You in pleasure and anger, and moderation in wealth and poverty. I ask You for bliss that never ends, a coolness of the eyes that never ceases, contentment with the divine decree, the cool ease of life after death, the delight of gazing upon Your Face,
