Transliteration

Laa ilaaha illallaahul Halimul Karim Laa ilaaha illallaahul ‘Aliyyul ‘Azim Subhaanallaahi Rabbis Samaawaatis Sab' wa Rabbil ‘Arzinas Sab' wa maa fihinna wa maa baynahunna wa Rabbul 'Arshil ‘Azim Wal Hamdul lillaahi Rabbil 'Aalamin Allaahummagh Firli… (Name 40 people) Astaghfirullah Rabbi wa Atuubu Ilayh (70 times)

Translation

There is none worth worshipping but Allah Who is Forbearing and Generous There is none worth worshipping but Allah Who is Most High and Great Glory be to Allah, Who is the Sustainer of the seven heavens and of the seven earth And Who is the Sustainer of all the things in them, and between them, And Who is the Lord of the great ‘Arsh (Divine Center of Authority & Power) And all praise for Allah, the Sustainer of the worlds. O Allah, forgive (Name 40 people)… I seek forgiveness of Allah my Lord and I turn to Him (70 times)

Haadhaa Maqaamul 'Aaidhi Bika Minannaar (7 times) Al-'Afwa (300 times) rabbighfirli warhamni wa tub alayya ,innaka antat-tawwabur-rahim (once) - End salat Subbohon, Qoddoson, Rabbul Mala’ekati Wal-Rooh (5 times) Subbohon, Qoddoson, Rabbul Mala’ekati Wal-Rooh (5 times)

Translation

This is the position of one who seeks refuge in You from the fire [of Hell](7 times) (I ask for) forgiveness (300 times) Lord, forgive me and have mercy on me, and turn to me, Surely You are the Oft-returning, the Merciful (once) - End Salat All Glorious, All Holy, Lord of the Angels and the Spirit. (5 times) All Glorious, All Holy, Lord of the Angels and the Spirit. (5 times)

Transliteration

Allahumma la tuminni makrak, wa la tunsani dhikrak, wa la taj'alni minal ghafileen. Aqumu in sha Allah sa'ata kadha wa kadha. ((Ask your needs..))

Allahumma innahu la yuwari minka laylun daj Wa la sama'un dhatu abraj Wa la ardun dhatu mihad Wa la zulumatun ba'duha fawqa ba'd Wa la bahrun lujjiyy Tudliju bayna yadayil mudliji min khalqik Ta'lamu kha'inatal a'yuni wa ma tukhfis-sudoor

Allahumma salli ala Muhammadin wa ali Muhammad Allahumma inni atawajjahu ilayka bi-nabiyyika nabiyyir-rahmati wa alih Wa uqaddimuhum bayna yaday hawa'iji Faj'alni bihim wajihan fid-dunya wal-akhirah Wa minal-muqarrabeen Allahummar-hamni bihim wa la tu'adh-dhibni bihim Wahdini bihim wa la tudillani bihim Warzuqni bihim wa la tahrimni bihim Waqdi li hawa'ijad-dunya wal-akhirah Innaka ala kulli shay'in qadeer Wa bikulli shay'in aleem

Translation

O Allah bless Muhammad and his family O Allah I turn to You through Your Prophet the Prophet of mercy and (through) his family and I place them in front of my needs so make me through them, respected, in the world and in the hereafter and from the near ones O Allah have mercy on me through them and do not punish me through them and guide me through them and do not lead me astray through them and grant me sustenance through them and do not deny me through them and fulfill my needs of the world & the hereafter

ilaahi ghaarat nujoomu samaaika wa naamat ‘uyoonu anaamika wa hada-at aswaatuibaaduka wa an’aamika wa ghallaqatil mulooku ‘alayha abwaabaha wa taafa ‘alayha hurraa-suhaa wah-tajaboo ‘amman yasaluhum haajatan aw yantaji’u minhum faa-ida wa anta ilaahi hayyun qayyoomun laa ta-khudhuka sinatun wa laa nawmun wa la yashghaluka shayun ‘an shayin abwaabu samaaika liman da’aaka mufattahaatun wa khazaainuka ghairu mughallaqaatin wa abwaabu rahmatika ghairu mahjoobaatin wa fawaaiduka liman sa-a-laka ghairu mahdhooraatin, bal he-ya mabdhoolatun anta ilaahee al-karremul-ladhee laa taruddu saailan min-al momineena sa-a-lak wa laa tahtajibu ‘an ahadin minhum araadak, laa wa ‘izzatika wa jalaalika wa laa tukhtazaloo hawaaijahum doonaka wa laa yaqdheeha ahadun ghairuk allahumma wa qad taraane wa wuqoofu wa dhulla maqaamee bayna yadayka wa ta’lamu sareeratee wa tat=tali’u ‘alaa maa fee qalbee wa maa yaslihu bihi amru aakhiratee wa dunyaaya allahumma inna dhikral mawti wa ahwaalil muttali’i wal wuqoofa bayna yadayka

Translation

My God, the stars of Your sky have sunk and the eyes of Your people are sleeping and the voices of Your servants and Your animals have become silent and the kings have locked their doors and its guards are moving around it and they are covered from he who wishes to ask them for a need or to get a benefit from them but You my God, are Ever Living, Subsistent, slumber or sleep does not overtake you (2:255) and one thing does not occupy You from another the doors of Your sky are open for he who asks You and Your treasures are never locked and the doors of Your mercy are never covered and Your benefits are never forbidden for he who asks You rather they are given generously. You are my God, the Generous who does not turn away a beseecher who asks from You and You do not conceal Yourself from anyone of the believers who intends You. No, by Your Honor and Your Majesty no one removes their needs other than You and no one fulfills their needs apart from You. O Allah You see me, and my standing (before You) and my humble position in front of You and You know my secrets and are aware of what is in my heart and of what will improve my affairs of the Hereafter and the world. O Allah, the remembrance of death and the frightening conditions of the observer and standing before You

Transliteration

nagh-ghasanee mat’amee wa mashrabee wa aghassanee bee-reeqee aqlaqanee ‘an wisaadee wa mana’anee ruqaadee kayfa yanaamu man yakhaafu malakal mawtu fee tawaariqil-layli wa tawaariqin-nahaari bal kayfa yanaamul ‘aaqilu wa malakul mawti laa yanamu laa bil-layli wa laa binnahaari wa yatlubu ruhahu bil bayaati wa fee aaanaais-sa’aati asalukar-rawha war-raahata ‘indal mawti wal ‘afwa ‘annee heena alqaak

Translation

makes me stay away from my food and drink and makes me choke, keeps me away from my pillow and prevents me from sleeping. How can one sleep who fears the angel of death? in the calamities of the night and the calamities of the day rather how can an intelligent person sleep while the angel of death does not sleep neither at night nor in the day and seeks his soul in the state of sleep and in the middle of the hours I beseech You to give me ease and comfort at the time of death and forgiveness when I meet You

Transliteration

Ilahi kam min moobiqatin halumta an muqabalatiha bi-niqmatik Wa kam min jareeratin takarramta an kashfiha bi-karamik Ilahi in taala fee isyanika umree Wa azuma fis-sohufi dhanbee Fama ana mu'ammilun ghayra ghufranik Wa la ana bi-rajin ghayra ridwanik Ilahi ufakkiru fee afwika fatahoolu alayya khatee'atee Thumma adhkurul azeema min akhdhika fata'zumu alayya baliyyatee Ahin in ana qara'tu fis-sohufi sayyi'atan ana nasiyaha wa anta muhseeyaha Fataqoolu: Khudhooh Fa ya lahoo min ma'khoodhin la tunjeehi asheeratuh Wa la tanfa'uhu qabeelatuh

Translation

My God, how many destructive sins have occurred where You showed forbearance instead of meeting them with Your punishment, And how many crimes were committed which You generously concealed through Your noble grace. My God, even if my lifespan was long in Your disobedience, And my sins grew vast within the record of deeds, I harbor no hope for anything other than Your forgiveness, Nor do I wish for anything other than Your good pleasure. My God, when I reflect upon Your pardon, my sins seem small to me, Yet when I recall the severity of Your retribution, my affliction appears immense. Ah, what grief if I read a sin in the scrolls that I have forgotten while You have recorded it, And You command: "Seize him!" O how helpless is that captive whom his own kin cannot rescue, Nor can his tribe benefit him,

Transliteration

Yarhamuhul mala'u idha udhina feehi bin-nida' Ahin min narin tundijul akbada wal-kula Ahin min narin nazza'atin lish-shawa Ahin min ghamratin min lahabatin laza

Translation

Pitied by the gathering when the call for his judgment is announced. Ah, what grief from a fire that consumes the livers and the kidneys, Ah, what grief from a fire that strips away the scalp and flesh, Ah, what grief from being submerged beneath the blazing flames of hellfire.

Transliteration

Allahumma innee as'aluka wa lam yus'al mithluk Anta mawdi'u mas'alatis-sa'ileen Wa muntaha raghbatir-raghibeen Ad'ooka wa lam yud'a mithluk Wa arghabu ilayka wa lam yurghab ila mithlik Anta mujeebu da'watil-mudtarreen Wa arhamur-rahimeen As'aluka bi-afdalil-masa'ili wa anjahiha wa a'zamiha Ya Allahu ya Rahmanu ya Raheem Wa bi-asma'ikal-husna Wa amthalikal-'ulya Wa ni'amikal-latee la tuhsa

Translation

O Allah, I ask of You, and none like You has ever been asked, You are the ultimate destination of every requester's plea, And the utmost desire of those who seek, I supplicate to You, and none like You has ever been supplicated to, And I turn with longing toward You, while none like You has been longed for, You are the Responder to the call of the distressed, And the Most Merciful of all who show mercy. I ask You by the finest, most successful, and greatest of petitions, O Allah, O Most Compassionate, O Most Merciful, And by Your most Beautiful Names, And Your most exalted attributes, And Your countless bounties,

Transliteration

Wa bi-akrami asma'ika 'alayka wa ahabbiha ilayk Wa aqrabiha minka waseelah Wa ashrafiha 'indaka manzilah Wa ajzaliha ladayka thawaba Wa asra'iha fil-umoori ijabah Wa bismikal-maknoonil-akbaril-a'azzil-ajallil-a'zamil-akram Alladhee tuhibbuhu wa tahwah Wa tarda bihee 'amman da'ak Fastajabta lahoo du'a'ah Wa haqqun 'alayka an la tahrima sa'ilaka wa la taruddah Wa bikulli ismin huwa laka fit-Tawrati wal-Injeeli waz-Zaboori wal-Qur'anil-'azeem Wa bikulli ismin da'aka bihee hamalatu 'arshika wa mala'ikatuk

Translation

And by the most noble of Your Names to You, and the most beloved to You, And the closest of them as a means of approach to You, And the most honorable in station before You, And the most abundant in reward with You, And the swiftest of them in answering affairs, And by Your hidden, greatest, most mighty, most majestic, supreme, and most generous Name, Which You love and cherish, And with which You are pleased when anyone calls upon You, So that You grant their supplication, And it is binding upon Your generosity that You neither deprive nor turn away Your seeker. And by every Name belonging to You in the Torah, the Gospel, the Psalms, and the Glorious Qur'an, And by every Name with which You were called upon by the bearers of Your Throne and Your angels,

Transliteration

Wa ambiya'uka wa rusuluk Wa ahlu ta'atika min khalqik An tusalliya 'ala Muhammadin wa aali Muhammad Wa an tu'ajjila faraja waliyyika wabni waliyyik Wa tu'ajjila khizya a'da'ih

Translation

And Your Prophets and Your Messengers, And the obedient among Your creation, That You send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, And that You hasten the relief of Your appointed authority, the son of Your appointed authority, And hasten the disgrace and defeat of his enemies.

Transliteration

Wa taj'alana min as-habihi wa ansarih, wa tarzuqana bihi raja'ana, wa tastajeeba bihi du'a'ana

Translation

And make us among his companion and helper and grant us all our hopes through him and accept our prayers.[2]

Transliteration

Fa salli ala Muhammadin wa ali Muhammad Waj'al lee fee ma tasha'u an tu'ajjila faraja ali Muhammadin sallallahu alayhi wa alihi wa sallam Wa 'ajjil farajee wa faraja ikhwanee maqroonan bi-farajihim Wa taf'ala bee ma anta ahluh

Allahumma salli ala Muhammadin wa ali Muhammad Allahumma antal-Hayyul-Qayyoomul-'Aliyyul-'Azeem Al-Khaliqur-Raziqul-Muhyil-Mumeet Al-Badee'ul-Badee' Lakal-karamu wa lakal-jood Wa lakal-mannu wa lakal-amr Wahdaka la shareeka lak Ya Khaliqu ya Raziq Ya Muhyee ya Mumeet Ya Badee'u ya Rafee' As'aluka an tusalliya ala Muhammadin wa ali Muhammad Wa an tarhama dhulliy bayna yadayka wa tadarru'ee ilayk

Translation

O Allah bless Muhammad and his family O Allah You are the Ever Living, the Eternal the Elevated, the Mighty the Creator, the Sustainer the One who gives life and the One who causes to die the Beginner, the Unique For You is nobility and for You is generosity and for You is grace and for You is the command You are One there is no partner for You O Creator, O Sustainer O the One who gives life and the One who causes to die O the Unique, the Sublime I ask you to bless Muhammad and his family and to have mercy on my lowliness before You and my beseeching You

Transliteration

Wahshatee minan-nasi wa unsee bik

Translation

and my loneliness from people and my intimacy with You

Transliteration

Allahumma innee as'aluka bi-hurmati man 'adha bika mink Wa laja'a ila 'izzik Wastazalla bi-fay'ik Wa'tasama bi-hablik Wa lam yathiq illa bik Ya jazeelal-'ataya Ya mutliqal-usara Ya man samma nafsahu min joodihi wahhaba Wa ha ana ad'ooka Raghaban wa rahaba Wa khawfan wa tama'a Wa ilhafan wa ilhaha

Translation

O Allah! I ask You by the honour of that person who has sought refuge in You And the refuge of Your Honour Rested in the shade of Your Majesty And was familiar with Your ways And had no hopes from anyone else O the giver of great rewards O the one to free the indigents O the one who has praised Himself with generosity and has named himself "Wahab" (the bestower) And that I call on You In fear and anxiety In greed and success In helplessness and freedom

Transliteration

Wa tadarru'an wa tamalluqa Wa qa'iman wa qa'ida Wa raki'an wa sajida Wa rakiban wa mashiya Wa dhahiban wa ja'iya Wa fee kulli halatee As'aluka an tusalliya 'ala Muhammadin wa ali Muhammad Wa an taf'ala bee kadha wa kadha

Translation

In gains and loses Standing and sitting In bowing and prostrating In walking and mounting Coming and going So much so that in all conditions I ask You to send Your mercy and blessings on Mohammed and his progeny And to do for me... (ask for Your needs over here)

Transliteration

Allahumma salli ala Muhammadin wa ali Muhammad Ilahi ta'arrada laka fee hadhal-laylil-muta'arridoon Wa qasadaka feehil-qasidoon Wa ammala fadlaka wa ma'roofakat-taliboon Wa laka fee hadhal-layli nafahat Wa jawa'izu wa 'ataya wa mawahib Tamunnu biha 'ala man tasha'u min 'ibadik Wa tamna'uha man lam tasbiq lahul-'inayatu mink Wa ha ana dha 'ubaydukal-faqeeru ilayk Al-mu'ammilu fadlaka wa ma'roofak Fa'in kunta ya mawlaya tafaddalta fee hadhihil-laylah 'Ala ahadin min khalqik

Translation

O Allah bless Muhammad and his family O Allah, on this night the seekers have sought You and the aspirers have aspired for You and the searchers have hoped for Your blessings and grace For You have in this night, hidden bounties and rewards and presents and gifts which You bestow upon whom you please from Your servants and You deny them to one who has not reached Your regard Here I am,Your abject servant in need of You hopeful of Your blessings and grace So, O my Master if You have bestowed blessings on this night on anyone of Your creatures

Transliteration

Wa 'udta 'alayhi bi-'a'idatin min 'atfik Fa-salli 'ala Muhammadin wa ali Muhammad At-tayyibeenat-tahireenal-khayyireenal-fadileen Wa jud 'alayya bi-tawlika wa ma'roofik Ya Rabbal-'alameen, wa sallallahu 'ala Muhammad Khatamin-nabiyyeena wa alihit-tahireena wa sallama tasleema Innallaha Hameedun Majeed Allahumma innee ad'ooka kama amarta fastajib lee kama wa'adt Innaka la tukhliful-mee'ad

Translation

and turned to him with affection then bless Muhammad and his family the pure, the purified, the virtuous onesthe excellent ones and favor me with Your grace and bounty O Lord of the worlds And send blessings on Muhammad the seal of the Prophets and his family, the Purified and salute them witha perfect salutation Surely Allah is praiseworthy, Glorious O Allah I have supplicated to You'as You have commanded.then answer me as You have promised. Surely You do not break Your promises.

Transliteration

allaahummah denee feeman hadayta wa a’afenee feeman a’afayta wa tawallanee feeman tawallayta wa baarik lee feeman a-a’tayta wa qenee sharra maa qazayta innaka taqzee wa laa yuqzaa a’layka subhaanaka rabbal bayte astaghferoka wa atoobo elayka wa oomeno beka wa atawakkalo a’layka wa laa hawla wa laa quwwata illaa beka yaa raheemo.

Translation

O Allah! Guide me as those whom You have guided, and grant me well-being as those whom You have granted well-being, and take care of my affair as those whose affairs You have taken care of and bless me in what You grant me and protect me from the evil of what You have decreed, verily You decree and nothing is decreed upon You. Glory be to You O Lord of the House! I seek forgiveness from You and turn to You, and I seek refuge with You and rely on You, and there is no power or might but by Your will, O Most Merciful!

Transliteration

ilahi kayfa asduru `an babika bikhaybatin minka wa qad qasadtuhu `ala thiqatin bika ilahi kayfa tu'yisuni min `ata'ika wa qad amartani bidu`a'ika salli `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin warhamni idha ishtadda al-aninu wa huzira `alayya al`amalu wanqata`a minni al-amalu wa afdaytu ila almanuni wa bakat `alayya al`uyunu wa wadda`ani al-ahlu wal-ahbabu wa huthiya `alayya altturabu

Translation

O my God, how can it be that I return from Your door carrying disappointment of You after I have come to it putting my trust in You? O my God, how can it be that You make me despair of Your gifts after You have ordered me to pray You? (Please) bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad and have mercy upon me when moaning will intensify, when action will be banned, when hope will be cut off, when I will be led to death, when eyes will weep for me, when my family members and dear ones will bid farewell to me, when dust will be poured upon me,

Transliteration

wa nusiya ismi wa baliya jismi wantamasa dhikri wa hujira qabri falam yazurni za'irun wa lam yadhkurni dhakirun wa zaharat minni alma'athimu wastawlat `alayya almazalimu wa talat shikayatu alkhusumi wa ittasalat da`watu almazlumi salli allahumma `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin wa ardi khusumi `anni

Translation

when my name will be forgotten, when my body will be rotten, when my remembrance will be wiped out, when my grave will be deserted; so, no one will ever visit me and no one will ever remember me, when the responsibilities of my sins will appear, when my violations of the others’ rights will overtake me, when the complaints of my rivals will be admitted, and when the prayer of the oppressed ones against me will be responded. O Allah, (please) send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad, make my rivals be pleased with me

Transliteration

bifadlika wa ihsanika wa jud `alayya bi`afwika wa ridwanika ilahi dhahabat ayyamu ladhdhati wa baqiyat ma'athimi wa tabi`ati wa qad ataytuka muniban ta'iban fala taruddani mahruman wa la kha'iban allahumma amin raw`ati waghfir zallati wa tub `alayya innaka anta alttawwabu alrrahimu

Translation

out of Your favoring and Your good turns, and treat me magnanimously out of Your pardon and pleasure. O Allah, the days of my pleasures have gone away and nothing remained but my sins and the liabilities of my wrongdoings. I have thus come to You repentant and penitent. So, (please) do not reject me deprived and disappointed. O Allah, (please) secure my fear, forgive my slips, and accept my repentance. Verily, You are the Oft-Returning, the All-merciful.

Transliteration

Allahumma salli ala Muhammadin wa ali Muhammad Sayyidi sayyidi hadhihi yadaya qad madad-tuhuma ilayka bidh-dhunoobi mamloo'atan Wa 'aynaya bir-raja'i mamdoodatan wa haqqun liman da'aka bil-karami tafaddula Sayyidi a-min ahlish-shaqa'i khalaqtani fa-uteela buka'ee Am min ahlis-sa'adati khalaqtani Fa-ubash-shira raja'ee Sayyidi law anna 'abdan istata'al-haraba min mawlah Lakuntu awwalah-haribeena minka lakinnee a'lamu annee la afootuk Ilahi wa sayyidi irhamni masroo'an 'alal-firash Tuqallibuni aydee ahibbatee warhamni matroohan 'alal-mughtasali yughassiluni salihu jeeratee Warhamni mahmoolan qad tanawalal-aqriba'u atrafa janazatee Warham fee dhalikal-baytil-muzlimi wahshatee wa ghurbatee wa wahdatee

Translation

O Allah bless Muhammad and his family My Master, My Master, I have stretched out these hands to You full of sins and my eyes stretched out with hope and it is the right of the one who calls You with regret and humility that You answer him with Generosity and Grace My master,have You created me from the unfortunate ones so I should lengthen my weeping? or have You created me from the fortunate ones so I should give glad tidings to my hopes? My master, if a servant was able to escape from his Master then I would be the first of those who escape from You but I know that I cannot escape You My God and my master, have mercy on me when I am lying on my bed[dead] Have mercy on me when the hands of my loved ones turn me when I am placed on the place of ghusl and the virtuous near ones wash me Have mercy on me when I am being carried, and my relatives have surrounded my coffin Have mercy on me in that dark house on my fear, my separation, and my loneliness have mercy on me

Transliteration

Rabbi asa'tu wa zalamtu nafsee wa bi'sa ma sana'tu Fahadhihi yadaya ya Rabbi jaza'an bima kasabtu wa hadhihi Raqabatee khadi'atan lima ataytu wa ha ana dha bayna yadayk Fakhudh li-nafsee min nafseer-rida hatta tarda lakal- 'Utba la a'ood

Translation

O Allah! I am a sinner, I have done oppression on my self, and whatever I have done is wrong, now both these hands are presented for punishment, and the neck is bowed down due to my sins and now I have presented myself in Your presence. So take for me my satisfaction from myself until it is satisfied with you. so that You love my actions and then I never repeat such deeds again.
