Supplication of Relief (Faraj)

Transliteration

Allahumma salli ala muhammadin wa ala ibnatihi wa ala ibnayha wa as-aluka bihim an tu-inani ala ta-atika wa ridwanik Wa an tuballighani bihim afdala ma ballaghta ahadan min awliya-ika innaka jawadun karim Allahumma inni as-aluka bihaqqi amiril mu'minina aliyni bni abi talibin alayhis-salam illa intaqamta bihi mimman zalamani wa ghashamani Wa adhani wa intawa ala thalika wa kafaytani bihi ma-unata kulli ahadin ya arhamar-rahimin Allahumma inni as-aluka bihaqqi waliyyika aliyni bni al-husayni alayhis-salam illa kafaytani bihi ma-unata kulli shaytanin marid Wa sultanin anidin yataqawwaya alayya bibatsihi wa yantasiru alayya bijundihi innaka jawadun karim ya wahhab Allahumma inni as-aluka bihaqqi waliyyayka muhammadi bni aliyyin wa ja-fari bni muhammadin alayhimas-salam Illa a-antani bihima ala amri akhirati bita-atika wa ridwanika wa ballaghtani bihima ma yurdika innaka fa-allun lima turid Allahumma inni as-aluka bihaqqi waliyyika musa bni ja-farin alayhis-salam Illa afaytani bihi fi jami-i jawarihi ma zahara minha wa ma batan ya jawadu ya karim Allahumma inni as-aluka bihaqqi waliyyika ar-rida aliyni bni musa alayhis-salam illa sallamtani bihi fi jami-i asfari Fi al-barari wa al-bihari wa al-jibali wa al-qifari wa al-awdiyati wa al-giyadi

Translation

Oh Allah send your blessings on Mohammad and his daughter and her children and I ask you for their sake that you help me in your obedience and in pleasing you and because of them make me attain the loftiest of position near you like your sincere worshipers. Verily you give generously when asked and without asking. Oh Allah I ask you for the sake of Ameer Al Momineen Ali ibn Abi Talib (as) that you take revenge from the people who have oppressed me and are my enemies and have troubled me and continue to do so and for his sake make me free from wants so that I should not ask from anyone else, oh the most merciful. Oh Allah I ask you for the sake of Ali ibn Hussain (as) that you repel the evil that could occur through satan and the arrogant and stubborn king who uses his power to torture me and acts like he can win over me because of his army.Verily you give generously when asked and without asking,oh bestower. Oh Allah I ask you for the sake of Mohammad ibn Ali (as) and Jafar ibn Mohammad (as) make you pleased with me that you help me through them for my hereafter that I could obey you and and through them make me attain the position where you are pleased with me. Verily you do as you will. Oh Allah I ask you for the sake of Musa ibn Jafar (as) that you grant all my internal and external body parts well being ,oh the free giver and generous. Oh Allah I ask you for the sake of Reza Ali ibn Musa (as) that keep me safe in all journeys- on land and water,in the mountainsand the deserts and in the valleys and the plains.

Transliteration

Min jami-i ma akhafuha wa ahdaruha innaka ra-ufun rahim Allahumma inni as-aluka bihaqqi waliyyika muhammadi bni aliyyin alayhis-salam illa judta bihi alayya min fadlika Wa tafaddalta bihi alayya min wus-ika wa wassata alayya rizqaka wa aghnaytani amman siwaka Wa ja-alta hajatif ilayka wa qadaha alayka innaka lima tasha-u qadir Allahumma inni as-aluka bihaqqi waliyyika aliyni bni muhammadin alayhimas-salam illa a-antani bihi ala ta-diyati furudika Wa birri ikhwaniyal mu'minina wa sahhil thalika li wa-qurnhu bil-khayri wa a-inni ala ta-atika bifadlika ya rahim Allahumma inni as-aluka bihaqqi waliyyika al-hasani bni aliyyin alayhimas-salam illa a-antani bihi ala amri akhirati bita-atika wa ridwanika Wa sarartani fi munqalabi wa mathvaya birahmatika ya arhamar-rahimin Allahumma inni as-aluka bihaqqi waliyyika wa hujjatika sahibi az-zamani alayhis-salam illa a-antani bihi ala jami-i umuri Wa kafaytani bihi ma-unata kulli mudin wa taghin wa baghin wa a-antani bihi faqad balagha majhudi Wa kafaytani bihi kulla aduwwin wa hammin wa gammin wa daynin wa anni wa an waladi wa jami-a ahli wa ikhwani Wa man ya-nini amruhu wa khassati amin rabbal-alamin

Translation

from all the things that I fear and I’m aware of, verily you are forgiving and merciful Oh Allah I ask you for the sake of Mohammad ibn Ali (as) that bless me with your favour and make these blessings a cause of comfort for me and increase my sustenance so that I don’t ask from anyone but you and you be the only source of fulfillment of my needs, verily you have power over all things. Oh Allah I ask you for the sake of Ali ibn Mohammad (as) that you help me to fulfill my obligations and that I may be useful for my brothers in faith and make it easy for me so that it would be with good intentions and help me in your obedience through yourblessings, oh merciful. Oh Allah I ask you for the sake of Hasan ibn Ali (as) that you help me for my affairs of the hereafter and that I can obey you and please you so that I would be glad when I face you on the day of judgment and when I face my last abode through your mercy, oh the most merciful. Oh Allah I ask you for the sake of your Hujjat Sahebuz Zaman (as) that you help me through them in all my affairs and repel from me all the evil which can occur from any oppressor ,enemy and help me through the Imam (as) because it is out of my circle of attainment and repel from me all the enemies and sorrows and worries and all debts, from me and my children and my family and my brothers and all the people who mean to me and all the people who are close to me. So be it ,oh the lord of the worlds
