Rites on Thursday Night (Taqeeb)

Transliteration

allahumma inni as'aluka biwajhika alkarimi wasmika al`azimi an tusalliya `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin wa an taghfira li dhanbiya al`azima

Translation

O Allah, I beseech You in the name of Your Noble Face and in the name of Your Sublime Name to send blessings to Muhammad and his Household and to forgive me my grave sin.

Transliteration

ya da'ima alfadli `ala albariyyati ya basita aliyadayni bil`atiyyati ya sahiba almawahibi alssaniyyati salli `ala muhammadin wa alihi khayri alwara sajiyyatan waghfir lana ya dhal`ula fi hadhihi al`ashiyyati

Translation

O He Who is ever-Favorer on the beings! O He Who is openhandedly Bestower of gifts! O He Who is the Giver of sublime donations! Bless Muhammad and his Household, the best of all creatures in traits, and forgive us, O Lord of Highness, at this evening.

Transliteration

allahumma anta rabbi la ilaha illa anta khalaqtani wa ana `abduka wabnu amatika wa fi qabdatika wa nasiyati biyadika amsaytu `ala `ahdika wa wa`dika ma istata`tu a`udhu biridaka min sharri ma sana`tu abu'u bini`matika wa abu'u bidhanbi faghfir li dhunubi innahu la yaghfiru aldhdhunuba illa anta

Translation

O Allah, You are my Lord; there is no god save You; You have created me, and I am Your slave and the son of Your bondmaid; and I am in Your grip; and my forehead is in Your Hand; I come to observe my covenant and promise to You as much as I can. I take refuge in Your pleasure against the evil of my deeds. I acknowledge Your favors and confess of my sins. So, (please) forgive my sins, for none can forgive sins save You.

Transliteration

allaahummaj-'alnee akhshaaka ka-annee araak wa as'idnee bi-taqwaaka wa laa tushqinee bi-ma'aaseek wa khir lee fee qadaa'ika wa baarik lee fee qadarik hattaa laa uhibba ta'jeela maa akh-kharta wa laa ta'kheera maa 'ajjalat waj'al ghinaaya fee nafsee wa matti'nee bi-sam'ee wa basaree waj'al-humal-waarithayni minnee wansurnee 'alaa man zalamanee wa arinee feehi qudratak yaa rabbi wa aqrir bi-dhaalika 'aynee allaahumma a'innee 'alaa hawli yawmil-qiyaamah wa akhrijnee minad-dunyaa saaliman wa adkhilnil-jannata aaminaa wa zawwijnee minal-hooril-'een wakfinee ma'oonatee wa ma'oonata 'iyaalee wa ma'oonatan-naas

Translation

O Allah make me Submissive, till I surrender to Thee, make me happy by putting "fear of God" in my heart, do not make me miserable on account of disobedience unto Thee. Write (prescribe) for me freedom from pain, trouble and anxiety, make ready for me blessings and happiness, so that I do not like what You delay to come in advance, or what You make happen quickly to be delayed. Give me contentment and an independent disposition. Make me derive advantage from the power of hearing (I listen to and accept advise and obey) and seeing (discernment, intelligence, and perception of truth);and both of them to my inheritors Give me an upper hand over him who intimidates me, and treat me well through Thy might and power, o Lord, and keep me in that exact state. o Allah! Attend to and, take care of me in the frightening hour of the Day of Judgement. Make me leave this world in safe and sound condition, and enter the permanent land of bliss and beauty (Paradise)in peace and tranquillity; and Houries as mates multiply provisions allotted to me, and to my dependents, also promote welfare of the people and make me sit, through Thy mercy, in the company of Thy upright servants.

Transliteration

wa adkhilnee bi-rahmatika fee 'ibaadikas-saaliheen allaahumma in tu'adh-dhibnee fa-ahlun li-dhaalik anaa wa in taghfir lee fa-ahlun li-dhaalik anta wa kayfa tu'adh-dhibunee yaa sayyidee wa hubbuka fee qalbee amaa wa 'izzatika la'in fa'alta dhaalika bee latajma'anna baynee wa bayna qawmin taala-maa 'aadaytuhum feek allaahumma bi-haqqi awliyaa'ikat-taahireena 'alayhimus-salaam warzuqnaa sidqal-hadeeth wa adaa'al-amaanati wal-muhaafazata 'alas-salawaat allaahumma anaa ahaqqu khalqika an taf'ala dhaalika binaa allaahummaf-'alhu binaa bi-rahmatik allaahummar-fa'nee ilayka saa'idaa

Translation

and join the delightful charming people who have refined manners, intellegent minds and beautiful faces,. O Allah! If penalised (it means) I deserved punishment; if forgiven (it is because) Thou art (the Most Merciful) Master. How would Thou punish? My Master! My heart is full of Thy love, undoubtedly, and Thy absolute authority, very 'kindly, take notice of that, and keep, us together with people who are given respite. How much less attention they may pay to ' Thy commands! O Allah ! For the sake of Thy pure and pious friends, peace be upon them, make us preserve true traditions of the Holy Prophet (saws). Return the possessions, to keep safe and watch over the Salat (adoration and worship of Allah) O Allah! truly, we are the worthiest among Thy creation, treat us in that context. O Allah treat us mercifully. O Allah! . Make my knowledge about Thee of the highest quality.

Transliteration

wa laa tutmi'anna fiyya 'aduwwan wa laa haasidaa wahfaznee qaa'iman wa qaa'idan wa yaqzaana wa raaqidaa allaahummagh-fir lee warhamnee wahdinee sabeelakal-aqwam wa qinee harra jahannama wa hareeqahaa al-mudrama wahtut 'annil-mughrama wal-ma'tham waj'alnee min khiyaaril-'aalam allaahummar-hamnee mimmaa laa taaqata lee bihee wa laa sabra lee 'alayhi bi-rahmatika yaa arhamar-raahimeen

Translation

Do not let me drown myself in hatred, nor feel resentful; keep me steadfast, within bounds, obedient, enduring. O Allah forgive me, have mercy on me, make me strive in Thy honesty, free me from the of burning Hell, from being consumed by the blazing fire, make less what I have to pay back, and the punishment deserved ,make me be one of the choicest people for all times. o Allah' ' have mercy on me because I have not the strength, nor patience to withstand it (punishment) ,through Thy mercy,O the Most Merciful.

Transliteration

allaahumma antal-awwalu fa-laa shay'a qablak wa antal-aakhirul-ladhee laa yahlik wa antal-hayyul-ladhee laa yamoot wal-khaaliqul-ladhee laa ya'jiz wa antal-baseerul-ladhee laa yartaab wa antas-saadiqul-ladhee laa yakdhib al-qaahirul-ladhee laa yughlab al-badee'u laa yanfad al-qareebu laa yab'ud al-qaadiru laa yudaam al-ghaafiru laa yuzlam as-samadu laa yut'am

Translation

O Allah, You are the First, and nothing is before You And You are the Last, and nothing will outlast You And You are the Ever-Living, who never dies And You are the Creator, who is never incapable And You are the All-Seeing, with no doubt And You are the Truthful, who never lies The Subduer, who is never defeated The Incomparable, whose works never come to an end The Near, who never becomes distant The Omnipotent, who is never wronged The Forgiver, who never wrongs The Eternal, who is not in need of sustenance

Transliteration

al-qayyoomu laa yanaam al-mujeebu laa yas'am al-hannaanu laa yuraam al-'aalimu laa yu'allam al-qawiyyu laa yad'uf al-'azeemu laa yoosaf al-wafiyyu laa yukhlif al-'adlu laa yaheef al-ghaniyyu laa yaftaqir al-kabeeru laa yasghur al-manee'u laa yuqhar al-ma'roofu laa yunkar

Translation

The Sustainer, who never sleeps The Responder, who never tires The Most Compassionate, who cannot be sought in vain The All-Knowing, who is not taught The Strong, who is never weak The Magnificent, who cannot be described fully The Faithful, who never betrays The Just, who never wrongs The Self-Sufficient, who is never poor The Great, who never diminishes The Protector, who cannot be defeated The Benefactor, whose goodness is never denied

Transliteration

al-ghaalibu laa yughlab al-witru laa yasta'nis al-fardu laa yastasheer al-wahhaabu laa yamall al-jawaadu laa yabkhal al-'azeezu laa yadhill al-haafizu laa yaghfal al-qaa'imu laa yanaam al-muhtajibu laa yuraa ad-daa'imu laa yafnaa al-baaqee laa yablaa al-muqtadiru laa yunaaza'

Translation

The Victor, who is never defeated The Unique One, who is never dependent The One, who seeks no counsel The Bestower, who never tires The Generous, who is never stingy The Almighty, who is never humbled The Preserver, who never forgets The Ever-Sustaining, who never sleeps The Hidden One, who cannot be seen The Everlasting, who never perishes The Remaining, who never decays The Omnipotent, who is never contested

Transliteration

al-waahidu laa yushabbah laa ilaaha illaa ant al-haqqul-ladhee laa tughayyirukal-azminah wa laa tuheetu bikal-amkinah wa laa ya'khudhuka nawmuw-wa laa sinah wa laa yashbahuka shay' wa kayfa laa takoonu kadhaalik wa anta khaaliqu kulli shay' laa ilaaha illaa ant kullu shay'in haalikun illaa wajhakal-kareem akramal-wujooh amaanul-khaa'ifeena wa jaarul-mustajeereen

Translation

The One, who is not compared There is no god but You The Truth, who is not altered by time And whose presence is not contained by places And no sleep or drowsiness overtakes You And nothing is comparable to You And how can it be otherwise When You are the Creator of everything There is no god but You Everything perishes except Your Noble Face The most honorable of faces The refuge for the fearful and the protector of those seeking shelter

Transliteration

as-aluka wa laa as-alu ghayrak wa arghabu ilayka wa laa arghabu ilaa ghayrik as-aluka bi-afdalil-masaa'ili kullihaa wa anjahihaal-latee laa yambaghee lil-'ibaad an yas'alooka illaa bihaa antal-fattaahun-naffaah dhul-khayraati muqeelul-'atharaat kaatibul-hasanaati maahis-sayyi'aat raafi'ud-darajaat as-aluka yaa allaahu yaa rahmaan bi-asmaa'ikal-husnaa kullihaa wa kalimaatikal-'ulyaa wa ni'amikallatee laa tuhsaa

Translation

I ask You and not anyone else And I turn to You with hope, not to anyone else I ask You with the best of all requests And I ask You for the most successful of them, which Your servants cannot ask except through You That they should not ask You except with it You are the Opener, the Bestower The Source of all goodness, the Remover of faults The Recorder of good deeds, the Eraser of sins The Exalter of ranks I ask You, O Allah, O Most Merciful By Your most beautiful names And by Your highest words and Your blessings that cannot be counted

Transliteration

wa as-aluka bi-akrami asmaa'ika 'alayk wa ahabbihaa ilayka wa ashrafihaa 'indak manzilatan wa aqrabihaa minka waseelah wa asra'ihaa minka ijaabah wa bismikal-maknoonil-makhzoon al-jaleelil-ajallil-'azeem alladhee tuhibbuhu wa tardaa 'amman da'aaka bih wa tastajeebu lahu du'aa'ah wa haqqun 'alayka allaa tahrima saa'ilak wa bi-kulli ismin huwa laka fit-tawraati wal-injeel waz-zaboori wal-furqaanil-'azeem wa bi-kulli ismin huwa laka 'allamtahoo ahadam-min khalqik

Translation

And I ask You with the most honored of Your names to You And with the most beloved and the most honored of them to You In rank and the closest of them to You and the means to You And the quickest of them to be answered by You And by Your hidden and guarded name The Majestic, the Glorious, the Great Whom You love and are pleased with those who call You by it And You answer their supplication And it is Your right that You never reject the one who asks And by every name that is Yours in the Torah and the Gospel And in the Psalms and the Qur’an, the great scripture And by every name You have taught to anyone among Your creation

Transliteration

aw lam tu'allimhu ahadaa awis-ta'tharta bihee fee 'ilmil-ghaybi 'indak wa bi-kulli ismin da'aaka bihee hamalatu 'arshik wa malaa'ikatuka wa asfiyaa'uka min khalqik wa bi-haqqis-saa'ileena laka war-raaghibeena ilayk wal-muta'awwidheena bika wal-mutadarri'eena ilayk ad'ooka yaa allaahu du'aa'a man qadish-taddat faaqatuh wa 'azuma jurmuhu wa ashrafa 'alal-halakati nafsuh wa da'ufat quwwatuhu wa mal-laa yathiqu bi-shay'im-min 'amalih wa laa yajidu li-faaqatihee saaddan ghayrak faqad harabtu minhaa ilayk ghayra mustankifin wa laa mustakbirin 'an 'ibaadatik

Translation

Or kept it hidden from all creation Or You have kept it for Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen And by every name You are called by the bearers of Your Throne And by Your angels and Your chosen ones among Your creation And by the right of those who ask of You and those who yearn towards You And by those who seek refuge in You and those who humble themselves before You I call upon You, O Allah, as the one whose need has grown severe And whose sin has grown immense, and his soul is close to destruction And whose strength has weakened, and who trusts nothing of his deeds And he finds no reliever for his need but You. I have fled from it to You. Without reluctance or arrogance in worshiping You.

Transliteration

yaa anasa kulli mustajeer yaa sanada kulli faqeer as-aluka bi-annaka antal-laah al-hannaanul-mannaan laa ilaaha illaa ant badee'us-samaawaati wal-ard dhul-jalaali wal-ikraam 'aalimul-ghaybi wash-shahaadah ar-rahmaanur-raheem antar-rabbu wa anal-'abd antal-maaliku wa anal-mamlook antal-'azeezu wa anadh-dhaleel

Translation

O comfort of every seeker of refuge. O support of every needy one. I ask You, as You are Allah. The Most Compassionate, the Most Generous. There is no god but You. The Creator of the heavens and the earth. The Possessor of Majesty and Honor. The Knower of the unseen and the seen. The Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate. You are the Lord, and I am the servant. You are the Master, and I am the owned. You are the Mighty, and I am the humble.

Transliteration

antal-ghaniyyu wa anal-faqeer antal-hayyu wa anal-mayyit antal-baaqee wa anal-faanee antal-muhsinu wa anal-musee' antal-ghafooru wa anal-mudhnib antar-raheemu wa anal-khaati' antal-khaaliqu wa anal-makhlooq antal-qawiyyu wa anad-da'eef antal-mu'tee wa anas-saa'il antar-raaziqu wa anal-marzooq anta ahaqqu man shakawtu ilayh wast'antu bihee wa rajawtuh

Translation

You are the Rich, and I am the poor. You are the Ever-Living, and I am the dead. You are the Eternal, and I am the perishing. You are the Benefactor, and I am the wrongdoer. You are the Forgiving, and I am the sinner. You are the Merciful, and I am the erring. You are the Creator, and I am the created. You are the Strong, and I am the weak. You are the Giver, and I am the beggar. You are the Sustainer, and I am the sustained. You are the most deserving of my complaints. I sought His help and placed my hope in Him.

Transliteration

ilaahee kam mim mudhnibin qad ghafarta lah wa kam mim musee'in qad tajaawazta 'anh fa-salli 'alaa muhammadin wa aalih waghfir lee warhamnee wa'fu 'annee wa 'aafinee waftah lee min fadlik subboohun dhikruka quddoosun amruk naafidhun qadaa'uk yassir lee min amree maa akhaafu 'usrah wa farrij 'annee wa 'an kulli mu'minin wa mu'minah wakfinee maa akhaafu darooratah wadra' 'annee maa akhaafu huzoonatah wa sahhil lee wa li-kulli mu'minim-maa arjooh

Translation

O my God, how many sinners You have forgiven. And how many wrongdoers You have overlooked. So bless Muhammad and his family. Forgive me, have mercy on me, and pardon me. Grant me well-being and open for me from Your bounty. Holy is Your mention, Sacred is Your command. Your decree is final. Ease for me the matters I fear difficulty in. And relieve me and every believing man and woman. And suffice me from what I fear of necessity. And avert from me what I fear of sorrow. And make easy for me and every believer what I hope for.

Transliteration

laa ilaaha illaa ant subhaanaka innee kuntu minaz-zaalimeen

Translation

There is no god but YOU Glory be to You I have been an oppressor to myself

Transliteration

allaahumma innee as-aluka rahmatam-min 'indik. tahdee bihaa qalbee, wa tajma'u bihaa amree. wa talummu bihaa sha'athee, wa tahfazu bihaa ghaa'ibee. wa tuslihu bihaa shaahidee, wa tuzakkee bihaa 'amalee. wa tulhimunee bihaa rushdee, wa ta'simunee bihaa min kulli soo'. allaahumma a'tinee eemaanan saadiqaa, wa yaqeenan khaalisaa. wa rahmatan anaalu bihaa sharafa karaamatik. feed-dunyaa wal-aakhirah. allaahumma innee as-alukal-fawza feel-qadaa'. wa manaazilal-'ulamaa', wa 'ayshas-su'adaa'. wan-nasra 'alal-a'daa'. allaahumma innee anzaltu bika haajatee.

Translation

O Allah, I ask You for mercy from You. That guides my heart and unites my affairs. That mends my brokenness and protects what is absent of mine. That rectifies my present state and purifies my deeds. That inspires my guidance and protects me from all evil. O Allah, grant me true faith and pure certainty. And mercy through which I attain the honor of Your grace. In this world and the Hereafter. O Allah, I ask You for success in judgment. And the ranks of the scholars, and the life of the joyful. And victory over the enemies. O Allah, I have placed my need before You.

Transliteration

wa in da'ufa 'amalee faqadif-taqartu ilaa rahmatik. fa-as-aluka yaa qaadiyal-umoor, wa yaa shaafiyas-sudoor. kamaa tujeeru baynal-buhoor, an tujeeranee. min 'adhaabis-sa'eer, wa min da'watith-thuboor. wa min fitnatil-quboor. allaahumma wa maa qasurat 'anhu mas'alatee. wa lam tablugh-hu niyyatee, wa lam tuhit bihee mas'alatee. min khayrin wa'adtahoo ahadam-min khalqik. fa-innee arghabu ilayka feeh. allaahumma yaa dhal-hablish-shadeed, wal-amrir-rasheed. as-alukal-amna yawmal-wa'eed. wal-jannata yawmal-khulood.

Translation

And though my deeds are weak, I am in need of Your mercy. So I ask You, O Arbiter of matters, and Healer of hearts. As You reconcile between the seas, to grant me safety. From the torment of Hellfire and the call of despair. And from the trial of the graves. O Allah, whatever is beyond my asking, And my intention could not encompass, nor my request comprehend, Of the good You promised to any of Your creation, Indeed, I turn to You in earnest for it. O Allah, O Possessor of firm resolve and wise command! I ask You for safety on the Day of Judgment, And Paradise on the Day of Eternity,

Transliteration

ma'al-muqarrabeenash-shuhood. war-rukka'is-sujood, al-moofeena bil-'uhood. innaka raheemun wadood. wa innaka taf'alu maa tureed. allaahummaj-'alnaa haadeena mahdiyyeen. ghayra daalleen, wa laa mudilleen. silman li-awliyaa'ik, wa harban li-a'daa'ik. nuhibbu bi-hubbikat-taa'ibeen. wa nu'aadee bi-'adaawatika man khaalafak. allaahumma haadhad-du'aa'u, wa 'alaykas-tijaabah. wa haadhal-juhdu, wa 'alaykat-tuklaan. allaahummaj-'al lee nooran fee qalbee.

Translation

With the near ones who are witnesses. And those who bow and prostrate, fulfilling their pledges. Indeed, You are Merciful and Loving. And You do whatever You will. O Allah, make us guides who are rightly guided, Neither astray nor leading others astray. At peace with Your allies and at war with Your enemies. We love those who repent, out of love for You, And oppose those who oppose You. O Allah, this is the supplication, and it is upon You to respond. And this is the effort, and upon You is the reliance. O Allah, make for me light in my heart,

Transliteration

wa nooran fee qabree, wa nooram-bayna yadayy. wa nooran tahtee, wa nooran fawqee. wa nooran fee sam'ee, wa nooran fee basaree. wa nooran fee sha'ree, wa nooran fee basharee. wa nooran fee lahmee, wa nooran fee 'izaamee. allaahumma a'zim liyan-noor. subhaanal-ladheer-tadaa bil-'izzi wa baana bih. subhaanal-ladhee labisal-majda wa takarrama bih. subhaana mal-laa yambaghit-tasbeehu illaa lah. subhaana dhil-fadli wan-ni'am. subhaana dhil-majdi wal-karam. subhaana dhil-jalaali wal-ikraam.

Translation

And light in my grave, and light before me, And light beneath me, and light above me, And light in my hearing, and light in my sight, And light in my hair, and light in my skin, And light in my flesh, and light in my bones. O Allah, magnify the light for me. Glory be to Him who is cloaked in might and manifests through it. Glory be to Him who adorns majesty and ennobles through it. Glory be to Him to whom no glorification is due but His. Glory be to the Possessor of bounty and blessings. Glory be to the Possessor of glory and generosity. Glory be to the Possessor of majesty and honor.

Transliteration

allahumma salli `ala muhammadin wa alihi wa hab liya alghadata ridaka wa askin qalbi khawfaka waqta`hu `amman siwaka hatta la arjwa wa la akhafa illa iyyaka allahumma salli `ala muhammadin wa alihi wa hab li thabata alyaqini wa mahda al-ikhlasi wa sharafa alttawhidi wa dawama al-istiqamati wa ma`dina alssabri walrrida bilqada'i walqadari

Translation

O Allah, send blessings to Muhammad and his Household, grant me Your satisfaction this very early morning, place fear of You in my heart, and separate it from (leaning to) anyone other than You, so that I will hope for and fear none save You. O Allah, send blessings to Muhammad and his Household and grant me resolute faith, pure sincerity (to You), honorable belief in (Your) oneness, persistent straightness, essential tolerance, and satisfaction with (Your) predetermination and decrees.

Transliteration

ya qadiya hawa'iji alssa'ilina ya man ya`lamu ma fi damiri alssamitina salli `ala muhammadin wa alihi wastajib du`a'i waghfir dhanbi wa awsi` rizqi waqdi hawa'iji fi nafsi wa ikhwani fi dini wa ahli ilahi tumuhu al-amali qad khabat illa ladayka wa ma`akifu alhimami qad ta`attalat illa `alayka wa madhahibu al`uquli qad samat illa ilayka fa-anta alrraja'u wa ilayka almultaja'u

Translation

O He Who settles the needs of His beseechers; O He Who knows what is in the innermost of the silent; send blessings to Muhammad and his Household, respond to my prayers, forgive my sins, expand my means of livelihood, and settle the needs of myself and my brethren-in-faith and my family members. O Allah, all ambitions of expectations are disappointed except those addressed to You, all resolute determinations are paralyzed except those relied upon You, and all reason-based tendencies are wasted except those directed to You. So, You are the ultimate hope and to You is the resort.

Transliteration

ya akrama maqsudin wa ajwada mas'ulin harabtu ilayka binafsi ya malja'a alharibina bi-athqali aldhdhunubi ahmiluha `ala zahri la ajidu li ilayka shafi`an siwa ma`rifati bi'annaka aqrabu man rajahu alttalibuna wa ammala ma ladayhi alrraghibuna ya man fataqa al`uqula bima`rifatihi wa atlaqa al-alsuna bihamdihi wa ja`ala ma imtanna bihi `ala `ibadihi fi kifa'in lita'diyati haqqhi salli `ala muhammadin wa alihi wa la taj`al lilshshaytani `ala `aqli sabilan

Translation

O He Who is the noblest objective and the most magnanimous desired, I am fleeing to You from myself. O shelter of those who flee overburdened with the heavy loads of sins, carrying my sins on my back, I cannot find any interceder for me except that I know for sure that You are the nearest of all those who are hoped by beseechers and of all those whose donations are expected by the desirous. O He Who has split the intellects on the recognition of Him, made tongues articulate with the praising of Him and made that which He has conferred upon His servants enough means for the fulfillment of their duties towards Him; (please) send blessings to Muhammad and his Household, do not give Satan any way (of success) over my reason,

Transliteration

wa la lilbatili `ala `amali dalilan

Translation

and do not give wrongness a way to reach my deeds.

Transliteration

astaghfiru allaha alladhi la ilaha illa huwa alhayyu alqayyumu wa atubu ilayhi

Translation

I pray the forgiveness of Allah save Whom there is no god; the Ever-living and Ever-subsisting, and I turn in repentance to Him

asbahtu fi dhimmati allahi wa dhimmati mala'ikatihi wa dhimami anbiya'ihi wa rusulihi `alayhimu alssalamu wa dhimmati muhammadin salla allahu `alayhi wa alihi wa dhimami al-awsiya'i min ali muhammadin `alayhimu alssalamu amantu bisirri ali muhammadin `alayhimu alssalamu wa `alaniyatihim wa zahirihim wa batinihim wa ash-hadu annahum fi `ilmi allahi wa ta`atihi ka-muhammadin salla allahu `alayhi wa alihi

Translation

I begin this morning seeking the protection of Allah, the protection of His angels, the protections of His prophets and messengers, peace be upon them, the protection of Muhammad, peace be upon him and his Household, and the protections of the Successors from Muhammad’s progeny, peace be upon them. I believe in the secrets of Muhammad’s progeny, peace be upon them, and in their open affairs and in their exoteric and their esoteric affairs. I bear witness that they, as regarding their knowledge of Allah and their obedience to Him, are just like Muhammad, peace be upon him and his Household.

Transliteration

subhana rabbiya al`azimi wa bihamdihi astaghfiru allaha rabbi wa atubu ilayhi

Translation

All glory be to Allah, the All-great and with the Praising of Him; I pray the forgiveness of Allah, my Lord, and I turn repentant to Him.

Transliteration

allaahumma in ata'tuka fal-mahmadatu lak wa in 'asaytuka fal-hujjatu lak minkar-rawhu wa minkal-faraj subhaana man an'ama wa shakar subhaana man qadara wa ghafar allaahumma in kuntu 'asaytuk fa-innee qad ata'tuka fee ahabbi-lashyaa'i ilayk wa huwal-eemaanu bik lam attakhidh laka waladaa wa lam ad'u laka shareekaa mannam-minka bihee 'alayy laa mannam-minnee bihee 'alayk

wa qad 'asaytuka yaa ilaahee 'alaa ghayri wajhil-mukaabarah wa lal-khurooji 'an 'uboodiyyatik wa lal-juhoodi li-ruboobiyyatik wa laakin ata'tu hawaay wa azallanish-shaytaan falakal-hujjatu 'alayya wal-bayaan fa-in tu'adh-dhibnee fa-bi-dhunoobee ghayra zaalim wa in taghfir lee wa tarhamnee fa-innaka jawaadun kareem

yaa aaminam-min kulli shay' wa kullu shay'im-minka khaa'ifun hadir as-aluka bi-amnika min kulli shay' wa khawfi kulli shay'im-mink an tusalliya 'alaa muhammadiw-wa aali muhammad wa an tu'tiyanee amaanal-linafsee wa ahlee wa maalee wa waladee hattaa laa akhaafa ahadaa wa laa ahdhara min shay'in abadaa innaka 'alaa kulli shay'in qadeer wa hasbunal-laahu wa ni'mal-wakeel yaa kaafiya ibraaheema namrood
