Book of companions (1/2)

“Praise be to God Who grants and does not withhold, and is forebearing and does not rush. He gave me the greatest favor with belief in monotheism, called me to do good deeds and servitude, He ordered me to pray, then once I prayed to Him, I found Him to be my help at times of hardship. I saw that even though He was inaccessible to me, He fulfilled my prayers. He did not even deprive me of what I desired when I did what He disliked. He overlooked my slippage, fulfilled my needs, compensated me for my staying up at night, and rushed to help me, increased my awareness and knowledge with His Power and the enforcement of His Will. O‟ my God! Whatever You have bestowed on me besides the belief in Your Oneness is lower than it even if it is a lot, and does not equal it even if it is great since all these are blessings of the life that ends, but it is the blessing for the Eternal Life that shall never end. Thus O‟ He who bestowed this especially on me out of His Mercy. Please grant me success in doing what would honor the respect for what You have bestowed upon me. O‟ my God! Please brighten my deeds with the light of guidance.
