wa qad qasadtu ilayka bitalibati wa tawajjahtu ilayka bihajati wa ja`altu bika istighathati wa bidu`a'ika tawassuli min ghayri istihqaqin listima`ika minni wa la istijabin li`afwika `anni bal lithiqati bikaramika wa sukuni ila sidqi wa`dika wa laja'i ila al-imani bitawhidika wa yaqini bima`rifatika minni an la rabba li ghayruka wa la ilaha illa anta
I am thus turning to You carrying my appeals and directing towards You carrying my needs. I have sought the help of You alone and begging You through my prayer although I do not deserve to be observed by You or to be pardoned by You. Rather, I have full confidence in Your generosity, I have relied upon the truthfulness of Your promise, I have sought shelter with my faith in Your Oneness and my certitude in the fact -which you know- that I have no Lord other than You and there is no god save You
