wa la taj`al shay'an mimma ataqarrabu bihi fi ana'i allayli wa atrafi alnnahari riya'an wa la sum`atan wa la asharan wa la bataran waj`alni laka min alkhashi`ina allahumma a`tini alssa`ata fi alrrizqi wal-amni fi alwatani wa qurrata al`ayni fi al-ahli walmali walwaladi walmuqama fi ni`amika `indi walssihhata fi aljismi walquwwata fi albadani walssalamata fi addini
do not let any of the things by which I seek Your nearness in the hours of the night and the ends of the days take the form of ostentation, showing off, pretension, or insolence. Include me with the humble ones. O Allah, grant me affluent means of livelihood, security in my homeland, delight in my family, property, and children, permanence of Your graces, healthy body, strong physique, and sound faith.
