Dua Ahad (Second)

Transliteration

Allahumma ya ilahal-alihati, ya Wahidu, ya Ahad Ya Akhiral-akhirina, ya Qahiral-qahirina Ya Aliyyu ya Azimu Antal-Aliyyul-A'la, alawta fawqa kulli uluww Hadha ya sayyidi 'ahdi wa anta munjizu wa'di Fasil ya mawlaya 'ahdi Wa anjiz wa'di, amantu bik Wa as'aluka bi hijabikal-'Arabiyyi Wa bi hijabikal-'ajamiyyi, wa bi hijabikal-'ibraniyyi Wa bi hijabikas-siryaniyyi, wa bi hijabikar-Rumiyyi Wa bi hijabikal-Hindiyyi, wa athbit ma'rifataka bil-'inayatil-ula Fa'innaka antAllahu la tura, wa anta bil-manzaril-a'la

Translation

O Allah, O God of gods, O One, O Unique. O Last of the last, O Subduer of the subduers. O Exalted, O Magnificent. You are the Highest, the Most Exalted, You are above every height. This, O my Master, is my covenant, and You fulfill Your promise. So fulfill, O my Master, my covenant. And accomplish Your promise, I believe in You. And I ask You by Your Arabic veil. And by Your Persian veil, and by Your Hebrew veil. And by Your Syriac veil, and by Your Roman veil. And by Your Indian veil, and establish Your knowledge with the first care. For You are Allah, unseen, and You are in the highest view.

Transliteration

Wa ataqarrabu ilayka bi Rasulikal-mundhiri salla Allahu 'alayhi wa aalihi Wa bi Aliyyin Amirilmuminina salawatullahi 'alayhil-hadi Wa bil-Hasanis-Sayyidi wa bil-Husaynish-Shahidi sibtay Nabiyyik Wa bi Fatimatal-Batuli, wa bi Aliyyi bnil-Husayni Zaynul-'Abidina dhith-thafanat Wa Muhammadi bni Aliyyil-Baqiri 'an 'ilmik, wa bi Ja'fari bni Muhammadis-Sadiq Alladhi saddaqa bi mithaika wa bi mi'adika, wa bi Musa bni Ja'faril-Hasuril-qa'imi bi 'ahdik Wa bi Aliyyi bni Musa ar-Rida ar-radi bi hukmik, wa bi Muhammadi bni Aliyyil-hibril-fadil Al-Murtada fil-mu'minina, wa bi Aliyyi bni Muhammadinil-Aminil-mu'tamani, hadil-mustarshidin Wa bil-Hasani bni Aliyyin at-Tahiriz-Zakiyyi, khazanatil-wasayyin Wa ataqarrabu ilayka bil-Imamil-qa'imil-'adlil-muntazaril-Mahdiyyi, imamina wabni imamina salawatullahi 'alayhim ajma'in Ya man jalla fa'azuma wa [huwa] ahlu dhalika fa'afa wa rahim Ya man qadara fa latafa, ashku ilayka da'fi, wa ma qasura 'anhu 'amali min tawhidik

Translation

And I draw near to You by Your Messenger, the warner, may Allah bless him and his family. And by Ali, Commander of the Believers, may Allah's blessings be upon him, the guide. And by Al-Hasan, the master, and by Al-Husayn, the martyr, the grandsons of Your Prophet. And by Fatima al-Batul, and by Ali ibn al-Husayn, Zayn al-Abidin, possessor of calluses. And Muhammad ibn Ali al-Baqir of Your knowledge, and by Ja'far ibn Muhammad al-Sadiq. Who testified to Your covenant and Your promise, and by Musa ibn Ja'far al-Hasur, who fulfills Your covenant. And by Ali ibn Musa ar-Rida, content with Your judgment, and by Muhammad ibn Ali al-Hibr al-Fadil. The approved among the believers, and by Ali ibn Muhammad al-Amin al-Mu'taman, guide of those seeking guidance. And by al-Hasan ibn Ali al-Tahir al-Zaki, the treasury of the successors. And I draw near to You by the Imam al-Qa'im al-'Adl al-Muntazar al-Mahdi, our Imam and the son of our Imam, may Allah's blessings be upon them all. O He who is majestic and great, and is worthy of that, so He pardons and has mercy. O He who decrees and is kind, I complain to You of my weakness, and what my actions have fallen short of in Your oneness.

Transliteration

Wa kunhi ma'rifatik, wa atawajjahu ilayka bit-tasmiyatil-bayda'i, wa bil-wahdaniyyatil-kubra Allati qasura 'anha man adbara wa tawalla Wa amantu bi hijabikal-a'zami, wa bi kalimati kat-tammati l-'ulya Allati khalaqta minha daral-bala'i, wa ahlalta man ahbabta jannatal-ma'wa Wa amantu bis-sabiqina was-siddiqina, as-habil-yamini minal-mu'minin [Wa] alladhina khalatu 'amalan salihan wa akhara sayyi'an alla tuwalliyani ghayrahum Wa la tufarriqa bayni wa baynahum ghadan idha qaddamtar-rida bi faslil-qada'i Amantu bi sirrihim wa 'alaniyatihim wa khawatimi a'malihim Fa'innaka takhtimu 'alayha idha shi'ta, ya man athhafani bil-iqrari bil-wahdaniyyah Wa habani bi ma'rifatir-rububiyyah, wa khallasani minash-shakki wal-'ama Raditu bika rabban, wa bil-asfiya'i hujajan Wa bil-mahjubina anbiya', wa bir-rusuli adilla'

Translation

And the essence of Your knowledge, and I turn to You with the white naming, and with the great Oneness. Which those who turned away and deserted fell short of. And I believe in Your greatest veil, and in Your perfect, highest words. Which You created from the abode of trial, and You settled those whom You loved in the Garden of Refuge. And I believe in the forerunners and the truthful, the companions of the right from the believers. And those who mixed a righteous deed with another evil, that You do not place others over me besides them. And do not separate me from them tomorrow when You present contentment with the judgment of the decree. I believe in their secret, their public, and the conclusions of their deeds. **Translation:** For You seal them if You will, O He who honored me with the acknowledgment of Oneness. And bestowed upon me the knowledge of Lordship, and saved me from doubt and blindness. I am content with You as Lord, and with the elect as proofs. And with the veiled as prophets, and with the messengers as guides.

Transliteration

Wa bil-muttaqina umara', wa sami'an laka muti'a

Translation

And with the pious as leaders, and as one who hears You and is obedient.

Transliteration

Allāhumma balligh mawlānā ṣāḥiba az-zamān, Aynamā kāna wa ḥaythumā kāna, Min mashāriqi al-arḍ wa maghāribihā, sahlahā wa jabalihā, ʿAnnī wa ʿan wālidayya wa ʿan wuldy wa ikhwānī at-taḥiyyata wa as-salām, ʿAdada khalqi Allāh wa zinata ʿarsh Allāh wa mā aḥṣāhu kitābuhu wa aḥāṭa bihi ʿilmuhu. Allāhumma innī ujaddidu lahu fī ṣabīḥati hādhā al-yawm wa mā ʿishtu fīhi min ayyām ḥayātī, ʿAhdan wa ʿaqdan wa bayʿatan lahu fī ʿunuqī, Lā aḥūlu ʿanhā wa lā azūlu abadan, Allāhumma ijʿalnī min anṣārihi wa adh-dhābbīna ʿanhu, Wa al-mumtaṯhilīna li-awāmirihi wa nawāhīhi fī ayyāmihi, Wa al-mustash-hadīna bayna yadayhi, Allāhumma in ḥāla baynī wa baynahu al-mawtu al-ladhī jaʿaltahu ʿalā ʿibādika ḥatman maqḍiyyan,

Translation

O Allah, convey to our Master, the Lord of the Age, Wherever he may be and wherever he may be, From the east of the earth to its west, its plains and its mountains, On behalf of me, my parents, my children, and my brothers, greetings and peace, Equal to the number of His creatures, the weight of His Throne, what His Book has recorded, and what His Knowledge encompasses. O Allah, I renew for him on this morning and throughout the days of my life, A covenant, a pact, and an allegiance to him that is upon my neck, From which I will not turn away nor will I ever deviate. O Allah, make me among his supporters and defenders, And those who follow his commands and prohibitions during his days, And those who will be martyred in front of him. O Allah, if death, which You have decreed as an inevitable judgment upon Your servants, comes between me and him,

Transliteration

Fa-akhrajnī min qabri, muʾtaziran kafanī, shāhiran saifī, Mujarridan qanātī, mulabbi d-daʿwat ad-dāʿī fī al-ḥāḍir wa al-bādī, Allāhumma arinī aṭ-ṭalʿata ar-rasheeda wa al-ghurrata al-ḥameeda, Wa akḥul baṣrī bi-naẓratin minnī ilayh, Wa ʿajjil farajahu wa sahhil makhrajahu, Allāhumma ashdd azrahu wa qaww ẓahrahu wa ṭawwil ʿumrahu, Wa aʿmir illāhumma bihi bilādak wa aḥyi bihi ʿibādak, Fa-innaka qulta wa qawluka al-ḥaq: "Ẓahara al-fasād fī al-barri wa al-baḥri bimā kasabat aydī an-nās." Fa-aẓhir illāhumma lanā waliyyaka wa ibn binti nabiyyika, Al-musammā bismi rasūlika ṣallā Allāhu ʿalayhi wa ālihi, Ḥattā lā yaẓfara bishayʾin mina al-bāṭil illa mazzaqahu wa yuḥiq allāha al-ḥaqq bi-kalimātihi wa yuḥaqqiqah. Allāhumma ikshif hādhihi al-ghummata ʿan hādhihi al-ummah bi-ẓuhūrih,

Translation

Then bring me out of my grave, wrapped in my shroud, brandishing my sword, Holding my lance in my hand, ready to respond to the call of the caller in the present and the future. O Allah, show me the righteous appearance and the praiseworthy light, And brighten my eyes with a glance towards him, And hasten his relief and ease his emergence. O Allah, strengthen his back and fortify his strength, and prolong his life, And through him, revive Your lands and enliven Your servants, For You have said, and Your word is true: "Corruption has appeared on land and sea because of what the hands of people have earned." So O Allah, reveal to us Your representative and the son of the daughter of Your Prophet, The one named after Your Messenger, peace be upon him and his family, So that he may gain nothing from falsehood except that he tears it apart, and Allah establishes the truth through his words and realizes it. O Allah, remove this grief from this nation by his appearance,

Transliteration

Innahum yarawnahu baʿīdan wa narāhu qarīban, Wa ṣallā Allāhu ʿalā Muḥammadin wa ālihi.

Translation

Indeed, they see it as distant, but we see it as near, And may the blessings of Allah be upon Muhammad and his family.
