Inna Allaha shtaray minal-mu’minina anfusahum wa amwalahum bi-anna lahumul-jannata yuqatiluna fi sabilillah. Wa qad qulta jallat asma’uk: wa la-nabluwannakum hatta na’lamal-mujahidina minkum was-sabirina wa nabluwa akhbarakum. Allahumma fa-aridni dhalikas-sabila hatta uqatila fihi bi-nafsi wa mali talaba ridaka fa-akuna minal-fa’izin. Ilahi annal-mafarru ‘anka fala yasa’uni ba’da dhalika illa hilmuka, fa-kun bi ra’ufan rahima. Waq-balni wa taqabbal minni, wa a’zim li fihi barakatal-maghfirati wa mathubatal-ajr, war-zuqni sihhatat-tasdiqi bima sa’alt. Wa in anta ‘ammartani ila ‘amin mithlihi wa yawmin mithlihi wa lam taj’alhu akhiral-‘ahdi minni, fa-a’inni bit-tawfiqi ‘ala bulughi ridak. Wa ashrikni ya ilahi fi hadhal-yawmi fi jami’i du’a’i man ajabtahu minal-mu’minina wal-mu’minat. Wa ashrikhum fi du’a’i idha ajabtani fi maqami hadha bayna yadayk. Fa-inni raghibun ilayka li wa lahum, wa ‘a’idhun bika li wa lahum, fas-tajib li ya arhamar-rahimin.
"Indeed, Allah has purchased from the believers their lives and their properties [in exchange] for that they will have Paradise. They fight in the cause of Allah..." And You have said, exalted are Your names: "And We will surely test you until We make evident those who strive among you and the patient, and We will test your affairs." O Allah, direct me to that path so that I may strive in it with my self and my wealth, seeking Your pleasure, so that I may be among the successful. My God, where is the escape from You? Nothing can encompass me after that except Your forbearance, so be kind and merciful to me. Accept me and accept from me, and maximize for me therein the blessing of forgiveness and the reward of recompense, and grant me the soundness of conviction in what I have asked. And if You grant me life until a similar year and a similar day, and do not make it my last covenant, then help me with success in attaining Your pleasure. And include me, O my God, on this day in all the supplications of those whom You have answered among the believing men and believing women. And include them in my supplication when You answer me in this standing of mine before You. For I am ardently beseeching You for myself and for them, and seeking refuge in You for myself and for them; so answer me, O Most Merciful of the merciful.
